Summary

Performs shipping verification, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with METRC manifest and verifying invoice accuracy for every shipment of state-regulated products. Maintains knowledge of cash handling policies and transports currency, coinage and bank deposits per company policy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times
- Transport approved items only, using appropriate company vehicles, based on the type of item being transported
- Use proper lifting technique to lift heavy items
- Responsible for the tracking, security, and accurate delivery to approved point of contact of approved items
- Adheres to approved schedule, route and zone when delivering approved items in approved shipping containers
- Responsible for performing daily inventory of shipping containers, removing them from vehicles and storing shipping containers in the security office overnight
- Follow Vehicle Use Policy for fueling, maintenance, cleanliness, staffing requirements, DOT regulations, emergency procedures, approved break times/locations, and all other requirements
- Responsible for verifying all products for each delivery at each stop and confirming manifest accuracy to include product name, type, RFID number and inventory counts
- Secure products while in transit and protect products during loading and unloading per company policy
- Deliver wholesale orders to approved point of contact and ensure accuracy of order, invoice and manifest
- Collect and verify payment of wholesale transactions and verify company copy of manifest is signed by client
- Responsible for returning payment for wholesale transactions to originating facility

Summary
The Courier I is primarily responsible for protecting company assets by performing secure transport duties, including loss prevention during transport and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Performs shipping verification, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with METRC manifest and verifying invoice accuracy for every shipment of state-regulated products. Maintains knowledge of cash handling policies and transports currency, coinage and bank deposits per company policy. The Courier II reports to the Transport Manager who manages all Transport Department staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times

- Transports approved items only, using appropriate company vehicles, based on the type of item being transported

- Use proper lifting technique to lift heavy items

Job Summary:
The Courier position exists to deliver infused products to dispensaries around Portland and surrounding areas. They will be responsible for picking up payments in cash and check form. Couriers have set routes decided by the fulfillment team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver Edible/ concentrate and Flower orders, payments, and returns to and from dispensaries.
- Obtain signatures and payments.
- Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.
- Receive messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone or in person.
- Review shipment paperwork after receiving to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
- Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Load vehicles with packaged goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly and taking precautions not to damage packaging or products.
- Deliver products based on a set route and delivery schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Courier position is responsible for performing secure transportation of regulated and unregulated products, ensuring loss prevention during transport, and ensuring compliance and safety at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform required pre-trip inspection and paperwork
· Responsible for reviewing and verifying manifest for accuracy at each approved stop
· Responsible for the tracking, security, and accurate delivery of items to an approved point of contact
· Responsible for loading and unloading vehicle safely, with proper lifting technique
· Responsible for adhering to security procedures for all facilities
· Follow company policy for fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness of vehicle

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
· 2 years prior experience as courier, delivery driver, or similar role
· Have or able to obtain a badge from the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED)
· Current Driver’s License
· Excellent computer, mathematical, and reasoning skills

Courier/Delivery Driver for Cannabis Analytical Laboratory

We are a full-service, production oriented, cannabis and hemp laboratory using cutting-edge technology to characterize the chemical, physical, biological, and microbial properties of a wide range of samples submitted for regulatory compliance and operational purposes. We are team oriented and focused on excellent service. We are in the process of launching a new laboratory in Sacramento and are looking for a Courier to join our team.
Position: The Courier / Delivery Driver position is responsible for ensuring that samples are picked up from account managers and brought to the lab safely and following all our compliance procedures. This position will serve the state of California only.
Essential Duties:
- You will need to be able to work in a variety of weather and traffic situations.
- You will be required to use the company vehicle and ensure it is kept clean and maintained.
- You will deliver sampling and marketing supplies to account managers.
- You will pick up samples from account managers and bring them to laboratory to drop off.
- You will assist with regular maintenance of company vehicle.
- You will follow safety protocols when picking up samples and delivering to laboratory.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.
- You will need a valid California drivers license.
- You must have a DOT Medical card or ability to obtain DOT medical card.
- We require that you have a clean driving record in the last 5 years. This means that you have only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents in the last 7 years, as well as no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL or at-fault fatal accident.
- Flexibility in work hours required.
- Background check required.
- References required.
- At least 2 year experience as a professional commercial or delivery driver.
- You must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- This position requires travel for 100% of the position.
- Ability to work overtime.
Compensation: $18-$23 hr.
