Position Description and Duties
1. Processes prisoners for custody in the jail; books on charges of arrest; fingerprints and photographs prisoners; types arrest reports; receives and maintains personal property of prisoners; maintains jail turnover schedule; initiates record and warrant checks; notifies concerned sections that person is in custody; and prepares and processes other routine arrest documents.
2. Assigns and escorts male and female prisoners to and from cells for the purpose of custody, release, telephone calls, attorney and family visits, interrogation, and other authorized reasons.
3. Cares for prisoners' needs including securing medical attention; heating and serving prepared meals; providing bedding and clothing; receiving clothing, reading materials and other personal property delivered to prisoners; securing janitorial and maintenance services as needed.
4. Processes prisoners for release by checking bail bonds, misdemeanor citations, and other release or transfer documents for correct prisoner identification and proper authorization.
5. Inspects prisoners and facilities to assure safekeeping of prisoners and proper functioning of jail.
6. Performs skin and pat-down searches before and after visits to attorney's room, and whenever a prisoner is suspected of possessing any contraband.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to:

- Performs a wide variety of technical and clerical duties to support departmental operations including those related to collecting, indexing, processing, maintaining, retrieving, copying and distributing technical and confidential law enforcement data and information including police reports, citations, warrants, protective orders, and subpoenas.

- Reviews police reports for Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) coding and appropriate crime classifications; may conduct comparative statistical analysis of computer-generated reports to ensure accuracy of information.

Position Description and Duties

Application and Selection Process

Application Screening: All completed applications will be evaluated based on job-related qualifications criteria, which could include desirable qualifications and the specific needs of the hiring department. 6. The Personal History Questionnaire will be reviewed and evaluated based on hiring requirements.

8. Candidates who pass the background investigation will be given a conditional offer of employment and will be scheduled for a medical evaluation and psychological evaluation.

Code Enforcement Officer I – This is the entry-level class in the code compliance series. Positions assigned to this class perform the more routine and standardized tasks. Promotion to Code Enforcement Officer II shall be by departmental review and examination.

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading a team of approximately 30 employees, including 4-5 managers, and is accountable for all aspects of managing a single retail cannabis store. You will report to the Board of Directors. You will help train, develop, and hire a new hires as well as continuing to improve standard operating procedures. This position requires attention to detail, a passion for process, a drive for results, and the ability to lead and influence in the high-regulated and compliance-focused cannabis industry. Marketing Degree or experience a significant advantage.
General Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; and enforcing ethical business practices.
- Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives
- Develops strategic marketing plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting analysis, and recommending objectives..
- Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Forecast and adjust payroll to maximize productivity, achieve sales and payroll goals, and complete workload.
- Ensure compliance with MAUCRSA, local laws and regulations centered around cannabis ordinance, and enforce Green Remedy’s own policies, procedures, and standards.
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Oversee the maintenance of the facility, including exterior property.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- 5 years of successful management experience, preferably in cannabis retail, though not a requirement.
- Financial management: interpreting reporting data, inventory control.
- Retail management: proven ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing marketing directives.
- Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change and leading others through the change-curve, developing collaborative relationships with others, and leading and influencing.
Skills
- Proficient with technology (e.g., POS system, Microsoft Office programs, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with moving parts
- Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment in ambiguous situations and be flexible/adaptable
Special Requirements
- Work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekend, and some holidays as this is a retail environment

Strong Customer Service skills: Must have a great, outgoing attitude, along with a hard work ethic
Greet all patients with a positive and warm welcome
Operate front desk computer, check-in patients, update patient filesProcess paperwork for new patients, data entry
Provide all new patients with a brief facility tour and explanation of services
Interact with patients on site as well as over the phone
Responsible for the cleanliness of the front desk and lobby area
Must be educated on all medical marijuana and products offered
