JOB SUMMARY: The Microbiologist is a key collaborative member that supports Green Leaf Lab’s philosophy and organizational goals. This position will be responsible for running, troubleshooting, and analyzing cannabis and hemp samples for microbiological pathogens utilizing qPCR. Writing and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOP’s); and performing basic and complex laboratory operations. This position will also assist with method development as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for the analysis of cannabis and hemp samples utilizing qPCR.
· Responsible for media preparation, data entry, reporting for microbiological samples.
· Responsible for maintaining validated ISO 17025 and TNI NELAC standards of performance for microbiological testing.
· Responsible for maintaining aseptic techniques in the laboratory.
· Responsible for daily sample preparation and data analysis to ensure laboratory runs smoothly and meets required turnaround times.
· Responsible for ensuring compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality systems.
· Responsible for developing procedures for documenting results from data collected.
· Responsible for ensuring test equipment is clean, maintained and in good working order.
· Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work area.
· Responsible for maintaining an accurate notebook, logbook, and other required documentation protocols.
· Responsible for following all safety procedures and documents.
· Responsible for ensuring high quality standards are met through performing calibrations, quality checks and proficiency programs.
· Responsible for maintaining inventory tracking as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university.
· Minimum 2 years microbiological laboratory experience with hands on experience with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
· Ability to perform effective pipette technique.
· Experience with data analysis and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
· Experience with Problem solving with ability to see whole picture and impact to data.

Job Description: The Administrative Specialist is responsible for assisting the growth and success of the business by providing a wide range of services, such as data entry and review using our laboratory intake management system (LIMS), receive inventory and track package issues in the state seed to sale tracking system (Metrc), collections phone calls, customer service via phone, email and in-person, project management, in-house sampling, inventory, among other administrative tasks. The Administrative Specialist reports to the Director of Operations. This is a full-time position. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, 6am-2:30pm.
Essential Duties:
· Establish working knowledge of California cannabis and hemp testing regulations and requirements
· Data entry utilizing Laboratory Intake Management System (LIMS), Excel and Word
· Manage incoming inventory using state seed to sale tracking system (Metrc)
· Manage and track package issues in state seed to sale tracking system (Metrc)

The Account Manager is responsible for finding, developing, and managing clients within a territory, including the sampling of products and/or hemp. JOB SUMMARY:  The California Laboratory Manager is a key collaborative member that provides leadership and supports Green Leaf Labs philosophy and organizational goals. This position requires strong technical, organizational and communication skills. We are looking for an experienced lab manager with proven expertise in operating and maintaining analytical chemistry test instruments – LC-QQQ, GC-QQQ, GC-MS, ICP-MS. Microbial PCR experience a plus.
This position is responsible for daily operations in the laboratory department including all laboratory personnel; scientific methods performed; instrument operation, calibration, and maintenance; data management; validation and reporting; maintaining Department of Cannabis Control testing facility licensing requirements; proficiency testing; and ISO 17025 accreditation. This position will report directly to the California General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for daily maintenance, calibration and operations of instrumentation in the laboratory including instrumentation software.
- Manages and performs all laboratory testing.
- Manages laboratory accreditations and licensing requirements.
- Maintains all required records for operations, licensing, and accreditations.
- Develops and ensures compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures and test methods.
- Supervises laboratory staff schedules and trains laboratory technicians.
- Ensures compliance with instrumentation maintenance including warranties.
- Oversee the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS-Promium Element) and general records management.

Qualifications:

Position: The Hemp Sampler is responsible for driving to client locations to provide sampling for pre-harvest hemp. The position will require use of scheduling software, contacting potential hemp customers as well as managing your designated territory. The position requires a keen attention to detail, exceptional time management skills, an ability to self-start and self-manage, along with a positive enthusiastic attitude.The position requires a substantial amount of driving and walking.
Essential Duties:

- You will be required to use the company vehicle and ensure it is kept clean and maintained.
