In this role you will…
- Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility consumables and products.

The Role
As a Sr Production Technician, you will be responsible for producing cannabis products within our wide portfolio. In this role you will use a variety of tools, equipment, and small machinery to produce and/or package cannabis products in accordance with our safety, quality and productivity guidelines. In addition, as a Sr Production Technician, you will be responsible for training new employees as well as utilizing our seed to sale systems and other internal reporting systems to track our products and other KPI's.

What you will do:
The Laboratory Edibles Technician is an entry-level position responsible for running various cannabis edibles formulations. These include but are not limited to chewy lozenges, dry pills, tablets, chocolates, and honey. The role will comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry and adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and technique, while continually maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
Job Duties:
· Responsible for the formulation of edible products (e.g.: chewy lozenges, dry pills, honey, etc.)
· Monitor low-level passive processes (e.g.: rotary evaporation, vacuum oven purging, etc.)
· Assist in cleaning of glassware and extraction equipment
· Follow all record keeping procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
· Responsible for the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of formulation equipment.
· Expected to run processes/packaging in a professional manner and keep the equipment and area clean and sanitized.
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time (2-3 hour stretches)
· Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to shoulder height

Job Summary
The Edibles Technician is responsible for ensuring that edibles production goals are met or exceeded through expert operation, cleaning, and maintenance of automated and semi-automated production equipment in a GMP setting.
Essential Functions

Working Environment

Job Description: Everest Cannabis Co. is hiring for an Edibles Technician with a strong work ethic and a commitment to our safety and quality standards. A successful Edibles Technician is a self-motivated and team-oriented person who will help our company achieve our goal of providing high-quality cannabis to New Mexico’s medical patients.
The Edibles Technician is expected to follow precise instructions as directed by management staff and must be able to maintain a set pace to deliver product volume. The Edibles Technician will be responsible for ensuring on-time completion of cannabis edibles and will include preparing raw and finished goods, processing and manufacturing in accordance with Everest sales projections. The Edibles Technician will follow written and verbal instructions, as well as be expected to complete a
variety of culinary, assembly, and organization duties as assigned by their manager.

- Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free workplace and reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions to Management.

Position Summary:
The Edibles Laboratory Technician is the primary person in the production of high-quality cannabis-infused edibles. The individual will also assist with the extraction process along with cleaning and maintaining laboratory and equipment, recording and entering data, and associated tasks. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the consistent, sanitary and safe production of cannabis extracts and infused products utilizing company policies to successfully uphold quality and consistency of all products produced in compliance with State of Ohio medical marijuana laws and legislation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for the daily operation of the lab and fully comply with state laws and regulations
- Production of infused edibles, including, but not limited to, gummies, chocolates, and olive oil; assist with the production of other infused products such as patches and lotions
- Perform CO2 and butane extraction of cannabis materials
- Perform stripping, grinding, and decarboxylation of cannabis materials
- Perform post-extraction processes, including wax removal, solvent recovery, wiped film distillation, and mixing for vape pens
- Assist with the creation of batch production records and maintain a detailed log of procedures and results
- Examine product samples during production to evaluate quality, color, and texture
- Perform necessary equipment maintenance and safety checks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Follow all Good Manufacturing and Serv Safe practices
- Follow established sanitation practices for staff, equipment, and facilities to ensure quality measures are met to maintain high quality of product
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, helpful
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in cannabis extraction or food/edibles production, helpful
- Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the state for working in the medical cannabis industry
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Job Summary:
The Edibles Kitchen Technician should contribute to the provision of a quality service to meet standards in line with agreed procedures. The Kitchen Technician will perform basic day to day operations of the current SOP’s & edible kitchen processes. Job Essentials:

Job Summary
The Edibles Technician is responsible for ensuring that edibles production goals are met or exceeded through expert operation, cleaning, and maintenance of automated and semi-automated production equipment in a GMP setting.
Essential Functions

Job Summary
The Edibles Technician is responsible for ensuring that edibles production goals are met or exceeded through expert operation, cleaning, and maintenance of automated and semi-automated production equipment in a GMP setting.

The Production Technician - Edibles will work under the direction of the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for the facility's overall edibles equipment operation and maintenance, inventory, processing protocols, strategy, safety, and day to day production.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of edibles including gummies and chocolates.
- Scaling and mixing ingredients according to standard recipes, using electric mixers or other industrial equipment.
- Check products to monitor quality and consistency.
- Monitor levels of all raw product
- Monitor dates and labels on all inventory and scheduling destruction as necessary
- Update and maintain culinary production records
- Complete the sanitation of all culinary equipment and tools

- Perform stripping, grinding, and decarboxylation of cannabis materials
- Perform post-extraction processes, including wax removal, solvent recovery, wiped film distillation, and mixing for vape pens
- Assist with the creation of batch production records and maintain a detailed log of procedures and results
- Examine product samples during production to evaluate quality, color, and texture
- Perform necessary equipment maintenance and safety checks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Follow all Good Manufacturing and Serv Safe practices
- Follow established sanitation practices for staff, equipment, and facilities to ensure quality measures are met to maintain high quality of product
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in cannabis extraction or food/edibles production, helpful
- Food science background is helpful
- Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the state for working in the medical cannabis industry
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Setting up kitchen to cater to daily production needs
· Accurately measuring ingredients as stated in recipes
· Precisely following recipe procedure
· Basic knife skills (peeling, dicing chopping)
· Cooking with induction equipment
· Hand mixing large batch products
· Comfort using power mixing equipment (blenders, Food processors, emersion blenders)
· Top to bottom sanitizing between all tasks
· Processing green waste based on company protocol
· Mixing and producing Non-edible products
· Rotation and consolidation of goods
· Data entry and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
· Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing all tools, utensils, and food contact surfaces
· Opportunity for overtime based on production demand.
· Breaking kitchen down to pre-production standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School or GED required
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
- 2 years professional kitchen experience or high-end assembly line work ·
- FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATION
- Follow recipes and use basic math skills (product counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Working Conditions:
- Able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
