The applicant for this position MUST have Dispensary General Management experience; bonus points if they have been part of a "start up" company.
The General Manager will have a dynamic personality and be driven/motivated to make our dispensary and our dispensary team the best in the area. They will be responsible for creating a world class customer experience for every customer. The General Manager will work with the Assistant Store Manager, Inventory Manager and Dispensing Agents/Budtenders in carrying out all retail operations in the store, including, but not limited to, inventory control, ordering, writing and updating SOP’s, register operations, customer service, store appearance/cleaning and displays, employee interactions, and by performing other functions as assigned. Job Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.

The Retail General Manager oversees the purchasing of the cannabis goods for the retail in coordination with the Inventory Specialist and the Leadership team, and oversees the confirmation of the weights/quantities with the accompanying transfer manifests as cannabis product arrives on the premises from another cannabis license. This position manages and accounts for the invoice balances as well as payments to vendors. The Retail General Manager is responsible for keeping the premises in total compliance with regards to all cannabis inventory weights/quantities, sales data reporting, waste reporting, as well as security and surveillance. This position is also responsible for the ordering and inventory management of all non-cannabis inventory such as accessories and merchandise.
The Retail General Manager is responsible for all the cash on the premises. This position confirms all cash deposited to the safe is consistent with the deposit reports. This position when on duty confirms all the cash that is collected with each point of sale station is consistent with the sales reports. The Retail General Manager is responsible for overseeing the deposit of all cash from our safe to our banking institution.
The Retail General Manager executes the Company's mission to provide thoughtful hospitality to our guests. The Retail General Manager develops goals with the Company to maintain this thoughtful hospitality and executes those goals with the team. The Retail General Manager, along with the Leadership Team and the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for maintaining the Diversity Plan goals set forth by the Company. The Retail General Manager is comfortable engaging in high level conversations but doesn't lose site of the granular details of day to day operations. This position is the head example for the retail and models the mission of our brand.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Peak is excited to be accepting applications for General Manager of our coming-soon 36th Street Dispensary!
If hired as General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of their dispensary location, including management of retail staff, bookkeeping, inventory management, cannabis regulatory compliance, and responsibility for the overall profitability of the your store.
As a Peak General Manager, you will provide support and guidance to all employees under your supervision, including responsibility for employee scheduling, training, as well as creation and maintenance of store policies and procedures. GMs are also expected to continually and regularly maintain their cannabis industry education in order to stay current with industry trends, managing inventory, supplier relationships, and overseeing compliance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Two years of experience in a retail position with managerial responsibilities, preferably in the cannabis industry. Thorough understanding of Oklahoma's state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to the operations of The Peak. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Effective time management and ability to multitask. Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and challenging environment.
Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite required. Familiarity with Photoshop (or similar design software), web development, and/or retail point of sale platforms is preferred but not required.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Support and Management:
- Responsible for managing dispensary staff, schedules, inventory and patient relations;
- Serves as a role model and resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations;
- Responds to all agent questions, concerns or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts;
- Responsible for delegating tasks in order to maintain a compliant and clean store; and
- Coordinates with upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to staff.
Customer Service:
- Provides superior customer service for vendors, patients, and caregivers;
- Responds to all patient complaints, requests, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts; and
- Oversees orders and deliveries to ensure accurate order information and timeliness of deliveries.
Reports, Documentation and Profitability:
- Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, patient compliance records, sales, inventory intake and returns in accordance with the State of Oklahoma and the standards set by the company;
- Maintain inventory control systems and perform ongoing inventory reconciliations of all products in the store;
- Provide regular inventory, sales and profitability reports to upper management;
- Accountability to upper management for the accuracy of all of the above.
