The Patient Care Advocate (PCA) is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience for our medical dispensary patients. This role ensures all sales are compliant with state regulations, that customer needs are heard and met throughout the sales process; and that transactions are accurately recorded in our point-of-sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems. This role is critical to upholding Justice Cannabis culture, values, and code of conduct.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures customers are accurately logged in state mandated patient tracking system
- Assists customers in product selection based on defined treatment plan and product availability
- Achieves daily/weekly sales objectives by seeking opportunities to introduce new and alternative products
- Performs all sales transactions in compliance with state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products
- Completes required documentation for product sales
- Ensures all sales and transactions are entered in point-of-sale and inventory management systems per state regulations
- Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized operating environment
- Complies with all state regulations as well as JC’s operating policies, procedures and practices
- Complies with all safety and security protocols for dispensary staff
- Answers phones, responds to voicemail and takes product orders via phone
- Establishes on-going relationships with dispensary customers and completes customer profiles to assist in future sales and service opportunities
- Maintains knowledge on new and existing products via vendor training, documentation, cross-training with the dispensary manager, on-site pharmacists, and seasoned PCA’s
- Models JC values, culture, brand, and our code of conduct
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience working in a retail environment with cash handling responsibility
- Retail sales experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass all required background checks, certifications, and DOH affiliation requirements
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Computers and Technology
- Must be computer literate with the ability to learn operational systems (Springbig, Leaflogix, MJ Freeway, Veriscan, Microsoft office, and Metrc, etc.)
- Experience working with Outlook email and Microsoft Office suite

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Ensures customers are accurately logged in state mandated patient tracking system
· Assists customers in product selection based on defined treatment plan and product availability
· Achieves daily/weekly sales objectives by seeking opportunities to introduce new and alternative products
· Performs all sales transactions in compliance with state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products
· Completes required documentation for product sales
· Ensures all sales and transactions are entered in point-of-sale and inventory management systems per state regulations
· Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized operating environment
· Complies with all state regulations as well as JC’s operating policies, procedures and practices
· Complies with all safety and security protocols for dispensary staff
· Answers phones, responds to voicemail and takes product orders via phone
· Establishes on-going relationships with dispensary customers and completes customer profiles to assist in future sales and service opportunities
· Maintains knowledge on new and existing products via vendor training, documentation, cross-training with the dispensary manager, on-site pharmacists, and seasoned PCA’s
· Models JC values, culture, brand, and our code of conduct
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Two or more years of experience working in a retail environment with cash handling responsibility
· Retail sales experience preferred
· Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
· Must pass all required background checks, certifications, and DOH affiliation requirements
· Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Computers and Technology
· Must be computer literate with the ability to learn operational systems (Springbig, Leaflogix, MJ Freeway, Veriscan, Microsoft office, and Metrc, etc.)
· Experience working with Outlook email and Microsoft Office suite

Employee will be engaged in a variety of dispensary operations including: patient registration and check in, visitor check in, security compliance, patient consultation, product and strain education, use of industry specific software, cash and inventory management, marketing and social media creation. Candidates must be detailed oriented, work well in a team, strictly comply with regulations and procedures, maintain sensitivity to confidentiality, and maintain the highest level of customer service.
Physical Requirements: Able to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and squat; Must be able to work weekends. Candidate must be over the age of 21. College degree required.
Current or intended participation in the PA medical marijuana program preferred. A passion for the use of cannabis to treat medical conditions is key for this position. The responsibilities of the Cannabis Advisors (CAs) within Garden Remedies, Inc. (GRI) broadly embrace the key areas described below. The most critical role is to ensure outstanding customer service and cannabis knowledge within our adult use cannabis dispensary. Working within a team, the CAs are the point of contact for all patients/customers at our dispensary. Outstanding communication skills, the ability to assess our customers’ needs and providing detailed information about our products is required. Our CAs will assist in developing GRI’s brand: you will be required to deliver GRI’s customer service standards and to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Duties:
- Provides high level boutique customer service that consistently exceeds customers’ expectations.
- Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system, inventory management and the MA state databases.
- Follows and executes compliant practices adhering in accordance with state regulations and GRI’s standard operating procedures.
- Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and rooted in education
Responsibilities:
- Maintains extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry and GRI’s products
- Engages with consumers to better understand the consumers’ desired experience so that they can make informed product recommendations to best suit the needs of the customer
- Remains knowledgeable of GRI’s product inventory and is able to easily explain the benefits of the specific products and the methods of titration in a way that is understood by all customers
- Maintains a level of intellectual curiosity regarding the benefits of cannabis medicine.
- Practices fine dining level customer service by providing extraordinary attention to the customers needs while communicating information of products honestly. Must go above and beyond to try and effectively answer customers questions and concerns.
- Practices empathetic client care utilizing active listening, eye contact, welcoming body language and warm tone of voice. Must be sensitive to different customers needs and be able to adapt accordingly.
- Is knowledgeable about MA compliance and reporting regulations and how it relates to customer purchasing limits.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and well merchandised store environment.
- Acknowledges any inventory issues and properly reports them to management.
- Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
- Has cannabis knowledge and is up to date on current trends in the industry
- Three years’ retail experience in a team environment
- Familiar with online databases, Point-of-Sale inventory and cash management
- Ability to creatively cultivate long-term customer relationships and maintain a positive attitude in a high traffic retail environment.
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
- Intellectual curiosity specifically in regards to cannabis medicine

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Ensures customers are accurately logged in state mandated patient tracking system
· Assists customers in product selection based on defined treatment plan and product availability
· Achieves daily/weekly sales objectives by seeking opportunities to introduce new and alternative products
· Performs all sales transactions in compliance with state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products
· Completes required documentation for product sales
· Ensures all sales and transactions are entered in point-of-sale and inventory management systems per state regulations
· Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized operating environment
· Complies with all state regulations as well as JG’s operating policies, procedures and practices
· Complies with all safety and security protocols for dispensary staff
· Answers phones, responds to voicemail and takes product orders via phone
· Establishes on-going relationships with dispensary customers and completes customer profiles to assist in future sales and service opportunities
· Maintains knowledge on new and existing products via vendor training, documentation, and cross-training with the dispensary manager, and on-site pharmacists, and seasoned PCA’s
· Models JG values, culture, brand, and our code of conduct
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Two or more years of experience working in a retail environment with cash handling responsibility
· Retail sales experience preferred
· Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
· Must pass all required background checks, certificaitons, and DOH affiliation requirements
· Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Computers and Technology
· Must be computer literate with the ability to learn operational systems (Springbig, Leaflogix, MJ Freeway, Veriscan, Microsoft office, and Metrc, etc.)
· Experience working with Outlook email and Microsoft Office suite
