Performance Responsibilities
- Consult with patients in the UT Medical Marijuana Program to educate and recommend quantities and forms of medical marijuana to treat qualifying conditions
- Supervise sales floor activity, Patient Care Advocates and point of sales transactions
- Aid in management of inventory including regular physical inventory counts, maintenance of appropriate inventory levels, coordination of purchase orders, supervision of deliveries and transport manifests, oversight of sales floor inventory, and supervision of all other activities with respect to inventory management
- Provide point of contact for registered physicians, health care providers and patients
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and JC’s standard operating procedures while maintaining all systems at the facility including security

As Bloc's Security Guard, you will perform a variety of tasks including:
- Monitoring and controlling access at building
- Monitoring alarm systems, video cameras, and detection
- Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigating issues or disturbances
- Acting lawfully ensuing force for the direct defense of life or
- Writing incident reports relating to criminal, medical, or nuisance
- Ensuring all incidents are recorded in the safety and security log
- Investigating and reporting all suspicious
- Patrolling buildings and conducting perimeter walks of assigned dispensaries and cultivation facilities; and,
- Performing other duties as assigned.
To successfully fill this role, you’ll need:
Two or more years of experience working in a security or first responder role
Have the ability to monitor multiple screens and situations simultaneously, and be certified in CPR, First Aid and use of AED.
Possess state security and guard credentials and meet all requirements for carrying a loaded firearm in full compliance with state regulations.
Pass required background checks and affiliation processes; and, requirements for State Cannabis Agent affiliation.
Prior law enforcement, or military experience is preferred.
