Job Overview
Cannabis Trimming Technicians must be precise and dexterous in their trimming so as not to waste any of the marijuana plant, and they must maintain a clean and organized work environment to avoid contaminating their product. Due to the nature of the job, cannabis trimmers must be able to sit and focus for long periods of time. Trimmers may also help with creating other cannabis products (i.e. pre-rolls), assist with bucking and or harvesting of the product prior to trimming, packaging and labeling of products, and other tasks that may be required of the Trimming Technicians. Machines may be used in some cases.
There are three levels of Trimming Technicians:
· Trimming Tech #1 – entry level experience
· Trimming Tech #2 – proficient in trimming with acceptable speed and quality
· Trimming Tech #3 – mastery of trimming with excellent speed and quality

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide motivational leadership to staff through company mission and values
- Maintain Trim/Packaging Dept. staffing needs in a proactive vs. reactive manner

- Continuously improve product knowledge, plant knowledge (ability to identify molds, mildews, viruses, etc.) and strain specific information

An indoor cannabis farm in Spokane, WA, is in need of someone to join our trimming and packaging team. Duties for this person will include assisting with making and packaging joints as well as assisting with harvesting, bucking, trimming, labeling, weighing, sealing, and barcoding. The right candidate will be someone who can take direction and work independently on tasks throughout the day.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.
- Weighs product.
- Packages product.
- Tracks production.
- Makes joints and assists with making joints.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensures work area is stocked.
- Writing labels for delivery & checking labels for accuracy.
- Performs data entry which includes weights, strains, notes, etc.
- Ensures Inventory is accurate and barcoded correctly.

Workplace Environmental Conditions
