The Trim/Packaging Supervisor is responsible for leading the trim/packaging department through motivation and clear communication to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly objectives in a fast pace environment. Responsible for oversight and direction of the trim/packaging department while continuously improving processes, increasing efficiency, and reducing/eliminating bottlenecks. This person must lead by example creating a safe, professional, and compliant work environment. This role will support operations and compliance through process implementation and improvements creating a cohesive workflow for all departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide motivational leadership to staff through company mission and values
- Maintain Trim/Packaging Dept. staffing needs in a proactive vs. reactive manner
- Perform employee reviews, providing positive feedback as well as areas for improvement
- Continuously improve product knowledge, plant knowledge (ability to identify molds, mildews, viruses, etc.) and strain specific information
- Planning/managing schedules for cleaning of all equipment, supplies, machinery, and production areas
- Develop/improve/implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Trim/Packaging Department

- Prepare the mornings first trim batch prior to technicians' arrival
- Burp harvest batch bags in secure storage
- Verify harvest batch data (Strain, Date, Weight, etc.)
- Record/Track/Verify productivity for trim/packaging teams
- Record keeping of product data (Strain, Date, Weight, etc.)
- Implement processes and procedures as delegated
- Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Verify and record moisture content
- Oversee staff lunch and breaks
- Report concerns or discrepancies to Dir. of Operations
- Manage coaching of staff with positive communication setting clear expectations

Education & Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Knowledge & Experience

General Job Description
The Inventory Manager is responsible for the day-to-day inventory management for the provisioning center, ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained at all times. The Inventory Manager position is responsible for the direct oversight of all inventory cycle counting, verification of required documentation and product counts for intake by conducting daily/weekly audits of inventory, tracking and distribution of product.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Operations
- Fluent with working in METRC. Managing trade samples, receiving transfers, building manifests, locations & tags
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; track orders and paperwork
- Ensure day-to-day operations run smooth throughout the dispensary
- Work with team and corporate to create strategic objectives, operational plans and store goals
- Ensure all inventory operations are in compliance at all times
- Maintains education and knowledge of all state and local cannabis laws and regulations
- Inform staff of all new products
- Approve and adjust inventory settings as needed
- Ensure all inventory is properly catalogued
- Offers support in relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure all technology platforms updated the most accurate product descriptions and inventory amounts
- Ensuring new products are ready for sale within the established timeframes for each product

- Provide motivational leadership to staff through company mission and values
- Maintain Trim/Packaging Dept. staffing needs in a proactive vs. reactive manner

- Continuously improve product knowledge, plant knowledge (ability to identify molds, mildews, viruses, etc.) and strain specific information

The Cultivation Technician works directly with the Cultivation Manager to ensure that the structure and health of each plant is consistent with Company standards on a commercial scale, and sees that compliance and cleanliness of the facility remains a top priority at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Technician warrants cleanliness and organization of cultivation facility at all times
- Technician ensures the cultivation facility is kept free of pests, dust, dirt, viruses, or other microbials by preventing contamination through proper cleaning, the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs
- Perform routine sanitation of tools, equipment, and production areas in accordance with Company’s sanitary practices and direction from Cultivation Manager
- Work directly with the Cultivation Manager to understand and execute all systems, processes, and procedures (SOPs) for the following: mother plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, pest management routines, fertilizer recipes, pruning, and light schedules
- Understand and follow schedules, policies, and procedures (SOPs) according to Company standards – including propagation, plant care, IPM, health and safety operations, harvest, and post-harvest
- Responsible for understanding and executing tasks so that production standards and goals are met
- Work directly with Cultivation Manger on Research and Development (R&D) for continual refinement to yield, quality, systems, processes, and workflow
- Observe environmental controls/parameters
- Immediately address any “red-flags” with equipment or any unsafe environments/working conditions with the Cultivation Manger
- Work directly with Cultivation Manager on accuracy of plant inventory; including strain names, plant tag numbers, and plant counts
- Perform plant and canopy maintenance such as cleaning up bottoms, defoliating leaves, training branches, transplanting, feedings, irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP – as determined by the Cultivation Manager and IPM Specialist.
- Apply fungicide and insecticide in a safe and effective manner, wearing appropriate PPE & after ample training and instruction by IPM Specialist
- Ensure the structure and health of each seedlings, vegetative, and flowering plants through observation & adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on a commercial scale
- Inspect plants for signs of deficiency or infestation in accordance with Company’s SOPs
- Immediately address any “red flags” to the Cultivation Manager, which may include suspected deficiencies, toxicities, or pests.
- Check and record daily data accurately; including but not limited to IPM applications, issues found when scouting plants, runoff, leaf-temp, and any other items required by Cultivation Manager and Company
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity
- Proper labeling and tacking of plants using METRC tags
- Assist Cultivation Manager with all inspections
- Abide by high personal hygiene standards
