Job Purpose:
The Lab Technician, Level II will be responsible for working closely with our laboratory team to build upon analytical skills and related experience. This position will play a key role in providing training and support to incoming Lab Technicians. Duties will include, but are not limited to homogenizing, weighing and extracting samples, loading and batch checking samples on the instrument, preparing quality control samples, verifying support equipment and properly disposing of all waste.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute laboratory protocol and procedures under the supervision of the Lab Director.
- Regularly display good laboratory technique to avoid cross-contamination or misidentified samples.
- Serve as subject matter expert for extraction techniques.
- Load batch sequences onto instruments and provide first or second level review, as needed.
- Provider training and mentoring for incoming extraction technicians.
- Perform sample preparation procedures including homogenization, weighing and liquid extraction.
- Perform QC duties as assigned, including ICV, CCV and calibration curves.
- Manage workflow and prioritize samples.
- Perform and record results from water activity, moisture content, and filth and foreign.
- Utilize the LIMS system to create batches, enter sample prep information and maintain physical and electronic records.
- Adhere to ISO 17025 standards as well as state regulatory requirements.

Job Description
The Laboratory Technician role prepares cannabis, hemp, CBD, and other samples using analytical techniques according to scientific and standard methodology in compliance with Green Scientific Laboratory’s Quality Assurance programs and SOPs.
Laboratory Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Supporting all aspects of laboratory test work including receiving of samples, cryogrinding, homogenization, extractions, dilutions, etc.
· Preparing client samples including weighing, extractions, dilutions, QC spiking, labeling, transporting, and logging
· Carrying out advanced sample cleanup techniques including, but not limited to, solid-liquid and liquid-liquid extraction, SPE, dSPE, QuEChERS, centrifugation, and filtration
· Checking batch records daily and reviewing any flags for samples/data that fall outside of accepted criteria
· Performing daily tasks including calibration of lab equipment, filling in temperature logs, etc.
· Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and laboratory facility
· Maintaining detailed inventory records of all sample materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the laboratory
· Maintaining inventory records of supplies, equipment, and preparing requisitions as needed
· Storing all samples while adhering to local and federal laws/regulations
· Operation and calibration of laboratory equipment, including balances, centrifuges, microscopes, etc.
· Proper disposal of chemical and biohazardous waste
· Washing and sterilizing laboratory glassware according to established protocols/SOPs
· Performing clerical work related to laboratory activities such as word processing and record keeping
· Maintaining material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products
· Adherence to all laboratory safety, quality assurance and quality control documentation as specified in company Standard Operating Procedures
· Maintaining compliance with local and state guidelines requiring chain of custody of controlled substances
· Other duties as assigned
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
· Education: High School diploma or equivalent
· Work Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a laboratory environment preferred
· Technical Skills: General laboratory knowledge, pipetting, sample cleanup, attention to detail, accuracy
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication and customer support skills
· Must be 21 years or older, pass an extensive level 2 background check, and be approved by the FL DOH OMMU for employment

POSITION SUMMARY
Progressive Plant Research conducts cannabis R&D and breeding in a highly-specialized facility under an OLCC Cannabis Research Certificate. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with other scientists to discover, validate and characterize new genes and genetic markers in cannabis and hemp. You will balance multiple projects on complex, non-routine assignments and apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of molecular biology to contribute to the development and evaluation of new laboratory processes focused on supporting the discovery of genes controlling plant traits. Due to the integrated nature of this laboratory, you will support routine genetic and chemical profiling, in addition to novel research and development of projects. A successful candidate for this role is someone that is reliable, quick and efficient, has impeccable attention to detail, and demonstrates proficient and comprehensive knowledge of the defined skill areas. We have a rigorous training program and cannabis research experience is not required. Must be 21 years of age or older.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Purpose:
The Lab Technician, Level II will be responsible for working closely with our laboratory team to build upon analytical skills and related experience. This position will play a key role in providing training and support to incoming Lab Technicians. Duties will include, but are not limited to homogenizing, weighing and extracting samples, loading and batch checking samples on the instrument, preparing quality control samples, verifying support equipment and properly disposing of all waste.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute laboratory protocol and procedures under the supervision of the Lab Director.
- Regularly display good laboratory technique to avoid cross-contamination or misidentified samples.
- Serve as subject matter expert for extraction techniques.
- Load batch sequences onto instruments and provide first or second level review, as needed.
- Provider training and mentoring for incoming extraction technicians.
- Perform sample preparation procedures including homogenization, weighing and liquid extraction.
- Perform QC duties as assigned, including ICV, CCV and calibration curves.
- Manage workflow and prioritize samples.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Responsible for daily duties related to the manufacturing process of cannabis-based products
- Enforces and complies with safety procedures and consults with department management about safety issues that may arise
- Cannabis extracting & refinement
- Operating heavy duty extraction and refinement equipment
- Troubleshooting of machines and processes; escalate to management and maintenance teams when necessary
- Receiving and sending inventory between departments
- Fill out and review daily laboratory paperwork while correcting/reporting errors in a timely manner
- Responsible for physical cannabis products and data inventory counts

Purpose
The Technician II is a entry level laboratory position wherein professional growth is expected and assessed. Therefore, the Technician II is expected to demonstrate a teachable attitude and a dedication to improvement by paying careful attention to instructions, asking clarifying questions and taking personal notes as required. The Technician II has the ability to follow standard operating procedures and gather data from specialized equipment and instrumentation and is expected to develop the ability to independently perform all routine tasks and collaborate on continuous improvement as needed. - Works closely with the laboratory personnel to ensure a smooth workflow of analyses.
- Works under supervision, performing routine tasks.
- Sample preparation including homogenization, weighout, extraction and transfer.
- Responsible for preparing samples for analysis, and assisting the Laboratory Analyst by providing support as needed.
- To perform detail oriented work particularly when accurate measurements are collected using analytical balances.
- Stands for several hours at a time in order to perform analyses.
- Organizes, conducts, and evaluates testing procedures requiring a thorough knowledge of the techniques and materials involved.
- Works in conjunction with laboratory assistants and Analysts to ensure a seamless transition from raw sample to final results.
- Follows strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures regarding sample handling and follows Good Laboratory Practices to ensure the generation of high quality and reliable data.
- Records raw data in a neat and legible fashion on sample worksheets or in laboratory information system (LIMs)
- Supports developing new procedures or techniques, which significantly enhance work quality or cost effectiveness.
- Leads preventive maintenance on equipment and instrumentation to maximize instrument lifetime.
- Maintains a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of a broad range of plant medicine products, processes, and cultivation preferred (e.g. Cannabis, Hemp, CBD and Fungi).
- Able to independently preform at least 2 extraction procedures.
- Working knowledge of regulations (local and federal), Good Laboratory Practices, and current official methods with at least 1 ½ years experience working in an accredited laboratory.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in plant medicine safety, quality and value is a plus.
- Experience as an CTND Laboratory Technician II is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and execute ICAL's established SOPs for sample homogenization of cannabis and hemp products for testing and analysis.
- Sample preparation for testing, including but not limited to potency analysis, residual solvent analysis, terpene analysis, heavy metals, pesticide analysis.
- Clean and maintain lab and equipment, including but not limited to: incubators, laminar flow hood, fume hood, homogenizer, sonicators, microbiology medium prep, and autoclave.

We are currently seeking a Lab Technician III to join our team in Jackson, Michigan! This employee will be scheduled for our evening shift, M-F 1:30pm - 10:00pm. This position is our entry level role within our lab and a great place to begin building a career within a rapidly growing company in a booming industry!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and execute ICAL's established SOPs for sample homogenization of cannabis for testing and analysis.
- Sample preparation for testing, including but not limited to potency analysis, residual solvent analysis, terpene analysis, heavy metals, pesticide analysis.
- Clean and maintain lab and equipment, including but not limited to: incubators, laminar flow hood, fume hood, homogenizer, sonicators, microbiology medium prep, and autoclave.
- Dispose of analyzed samples and follow proper chemical waste procedures.
- Perform good laboratory practices.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times. (PPE)
- Organize lab supplies.
- Assist with inventory of samples and packaging
- Personal drive and commitment to upkeep and improvement of the Customer Satisfaction at ICAL
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors of Science in hard science (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)

JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking Lab Technician to join our facility. The Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in product processing and formulation. The Lab Technician completes tasks assigned by the Lab Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production areas well as maintains quality control measures. Manufacturing:
- Responsible for the preparation of Cresco Labs extraction are, facilitating the processing of product in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs
- Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by Cresco Labs

- Lab bench work and product filtrations
- Assist in packaging department as needed
Facility Cleaning:
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility
- Ensure personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set by Cresco Labs before performing any production activities by washing hands, wearing a hair net, changing clothes
- Complete the sanitation of all production equipment and tools including workspace, lab equipment, containers, and appliances.

- Two years of experience in a Lab that adheres to strict health and safety policies
- Past experience in a highly regulated field producing pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products preferred

Laboratory Technician III - Pesticides
Summary:
The primary purpose of the Laboratory Technician III (“Lab Tech III”) is to prepare samples and quality controls according to SOPs, review analytical data, and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instrumentation for analysis of contaminants on cannabis-based products. The Lab Tech III will also be responsible for performing validation experiments on new analytes and matrices to align with changing regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Extract and prepare cannabis samples for mycotoxins and pesticides testing
- Operate & maintain analytical instrumentation in accordance with SOPs
- Perform regular maintenance & troubleshooting on instruments
- Prioritize preparation & analysis for pesticides & mycotoxins testing
- Analyze chromatographic and mass spec data
- Report results through LIMS system
- Communicate planned & unplanned downtime to management
- Assist quality department in documenting trends
- Work with lab team to troubleshoot issues with samples and controls

Summary
The Extraction Technician reporting directly to the Extraction Manager, is responsible for executing and maintaining all daily operations of the Extraction Department to achieve iAnthus company initiatives. Additionally, the Extraction Technician maintains the policies and procedures of iAnthus and ensures compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
:
- Closed loop hydrocarbon extraction
- Create distilled, high purity concentrate for use in MIPs and vaporizer cartridges as well as other products created from extracted cannabis.
- Execute the preparation and production of extracted products
- Execute proper labeling and storage of extracted products
- Monitor, clean and maintain all extraction equipment and operate all equipment safely in its intended manner.
- Preparation of all materials for extraction including decarboxylation, and calibration and audit of all technical equipment before use
- Complete all orders for extracted products in an efficient and timely manner, meeting all necessary deadlines
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, purchases, and repairs with the Extraction Manager as needed
- Ensure compliance at all times with all sanitation regulations and safety standards in the production of all extracted products produced by iAnthus as set in iAnthus’ Policy and Procedure Manuals
- Perform duties as needed outlined in the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Review Communication Binder for current information and updates at the start of every shift
- Execute and enforce compliance of all local and state regulations.
- Follow weekly schedules to ensure there is proper coverage based on the business needs
- Uphold all iAnthus policies and procedures.
Training & Development
- Consistent development of Extraction processing skills.
- Development on proper Extraction processing.
- Participating in quarterly department meetings.
- Owning personal training and development regarding current on product knowledge and policies and procedures and seeking out answers as needed from the Extraction Manger
- Providing documentation and feedback to the Extraction Manager for the completion of team annual performance evaluations self-evaluations.
- Following flawlessly all iAnthus Time and Attendance Policies
Driving Business/Sales
- Ensuring that all concentrates are of the highest quality in taste and ingredients.
- Producing sufficient product to support RMDs and patient home delivery.

Infinite Chemical Analysis Labs was founded in 2016 by two PhD chemists whose mission is to provide the cannabis industry with accurate and timely analytical services of exceptional quality while meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations. We are currently seeking a Lab Technician III to join our team! This new employee will join our evening shift working M-F 2:00pm - 10:30pm. This position is our entry level role within our lab and a great place to begin building a career within a rapidly growing company in a booming industry!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn and execute ICAL's established SOPs for sample homogenization of cannabis for testing and analysis.
- Sample preparation for testing, including but not limited to potency analysis, residual solvent analysis, terpene analysis, heavy metals, pesticide analysis.
- Clean and maintain lab and equipment, including but not limited to: incubators, laminar flow hood, fume hood, homogenizer, sonicators, microbiology medium prep, and autoclave.
- Dispose of analyzed samples and follow proper chemical waste procedures.
- Perform good laboratory practices.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times. (PPE)
- Organize lab supplies.
- Assist with inventory of samples and packaging
