We are seeking to add to our collaborative team within the Southern California region, focusing on hiring a Full-time Sampler who resides in and around the Moreno Valley/San Bernardino.
The Sampler position is responsible for obtaining a representative sample of a batch at the client’s location, completing all relevant documentation and providing excellent customer service, while ensuring all samples are safely and securely transferred to a Courier for delivery to our Santa Cruz Lab for processing.
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Must be comfortable working with and around cannabis products. Previous work experience in the legal cannabis industry is preferred
- Ideal candidate will have 1 year of prior laboratory experience from either college or full-time practical work experience/exposure, and previous customer service experience
All applicants selected for an interview will need to provide a current DMV print out at the time of the interview, showing a clean driving record of at least the past 6 years.
PAY RATE: Starts at $18.00 per hour, and then $20.00 per hour upon successfully passing a performance review after the first 90 -days
SCHEDULE: This will be a Full-time position based out of Southern California.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with clients/customers on their premises during sample collection and submission (Clients / Customers may require our employees to be fully vaccinated)
- Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples and driving to and from a client/customer sampling site or the laboratory
- Coordinate with Manager of Field Operations, as well as, Customer Service Account Managers to maximize sample collection
- Strive to maximize driving route efficiency
- Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory
- Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety behaviors
- Promote a professional company image through exemplary customer relationship skills
- Refer customer inquiries, routing or schedule change requests, and/or complaints to the appropriate Account Manager
- Ensure proper Sample Submission form protocols are followed
- Suggest and implement continuous process improvement initiatives
- Support laboratory-based functions including sample intake/preparation, etc
- Perform other activities as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must have a minimum of 1-year previous Customer Service experience
- Must have a valid driver's license; must have and maintain a clean DMV driving record
- Ability to safely and securely park and keep a Company owned vehicle is required

Job Purpose:

We are seeking to add to our collaborative team within our Central Californiaregion, focusing on hiring a part-time Sampler who resides in and around the Santa Cruz area (within 30-miles). Will only consider applicants living within this Central California region.
The Sampler position is responsible for obtaining a representative sample of a batch at the client’s location, completing all relevant documentation and providing excellent customer service, while ensuring all samples are safely and securely transferred to a Courier for delivery to our Santa Cruz Lab for processing.

- Previous customer service experience is required
- Must be comfortable working with and around cannabis products. Previous work experience in the legal cannabis industry is preferred
- Ideal candidate will have 1 year of prior laboratory experience from either college or full-time practical work experience/exposure, and previous customer service experience

The expectation will be up to 29 hours per week, Monday - Friday (must be flexible), schedule will vary week to week based on the needs of our clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with clients/customers on their premises during sample collection and submission (Clients / Customers may require our employees to be fully vaccinated)
- Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples and driving to and from a client/customer sampling site or the laboratory
- Coordinate with Manager of Field Operations, as well as, Customer Service Account Managers to maximize sample collection
- Strive to maximize driving route efficiency
- Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory
- Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety behaviors
- Promote a professional company image through exemplary customer relationship skills
- Refer customer inquiries, routing or schedule change requests, and/or complaints to the appropriate Account Manager
- Ensure proper Sample Submission form protocols are followed
- Suggest and implement continuous process improvement initiatives

Sampler & Field Representative - Kona, Hawaii The Sampler/Field Representative will be working within a team of industry professionals, and is the initial point of contact between clients, samples, and the laboratory. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs precise and reliable on-site sampling in accordance with state requirements and company and protocol
- Secures the transportation of customer samples in designated vehicles from various sampling sites to delivery at the testing facility
- Implements proper chain of custody documentation and adhering to state and corporate protocol for the transport of samples

The Sampler/Field Representative will be working within a team of industry professionals, and is the initial point of contact between clients, samples, and the laboratory. The Sampler/Field Representative will be responsible for the overall assurance of sampling practices, documentation and shipment; assisting in the day to day receipt and support of the laboratory by tracking and maintaining sample documents and samples; verifying sample collection supply inventory. The Sampler/Field Representative is also responsible for notification should any deviations from the sampling design occur which will include discrepancies in; volume/mass, preservation, and labeling that could affect the laboratory’s ability to efficiently and profitably generate complete and accurate sample results on time, while meeting client expectations.
Role and Responsibilities
· Oversee sample collection and custody management of hemp and medical cannabis samples from client sites.
· Verify sample documentation
· Label sample containers
· Proper attention to detail to store samples appropriately prior to shipment.
· Review and complete way fare bills for shipment as needed.
· Advise Laboratory of Shipment Delivery.
· Assist in sample management/ archiving and disposal;
· High productivity and the ability to multi-task coupled with a low error rate and attention to detail are critical characteristics of this position
· Demonstrates flexibility/agility and engagement in a changing environment. Expected to display good sampling technique to avoid cross contamination or misidentification of samples;
