DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with clients/customers on their premises during sample collection and submission (Clients / Customers may require our employees to be fully vaccinated)
- Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples and driving to and from a client/customer sampling site or the laboratory
- Coordinate with Manager of Field Operations, as well as, Customer Service Account Managers to maximize sample collection
- Strive to maximize driving route efficiency
- Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory
- Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety behaviors
- Promote a professional company image through exemplary customer relationship skills
- Refer customer inquiries, routing or schedule change requests, and/or complaints to the appropriate Account Manager
- Ensure proper Sample Submission form protocols are followed
- Suggest and implement continuous process improvement initiatives
- Support laboratory-based functions including sample intake/preparation, etc

Position Summary
The Head of Product Management is a product leader with deep domain experience in understanding the process of requirements gathering, from customers, the market, sales, marketing, and from subject matter experts within the business. Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support accurate and consistent testing procedures through the validation of all current test methods, and by developing, validating and implementing new test procedures

- Act as primary or support, as necessary, in client interactions and in answering client questions for custom projects and experiments

- Drive business development activities that support SC Labs overall revenue generation strategy

We are seeking to add to our collaborative team environment, and at this time are focusing on hiring full-time Lab Assistants, preferably with a degree in a science related field. At this time, we are only considering local Santa Cruz region applicants.
Must be comfortable working with cannabis / hemp and cannabis / hemp infused products within a typical chemical/biological laboratory environment.
1 year of previous practical real world working environment experience is required, experience within an operating lab is preferred
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Looking to fill Full-time positions for the Morning shift (Tuesday thru Saturday) and possibly PM shift (more to be determined) based on the needs of the operation.

- Perform work functions and keep records per approved SOPs and/or laboratory policies.
- Help improve laboratory and/or quality activities on a continuous basis.
- Support the laboratory through functions such as cleaning, organizing, filing of laboratory records, retrieving test items from retention.
- Perform any tasks as requested by management to ensure the proper function of the lab.
- This posting is not all inclusive and positions will perform other related duties as assigned
SPECIAL WORK CONDITIONS
- Involves working in a typical chemical/biological laboratory environment, PPE provided.
- Movement among Laboratory areas may require observing specific security procedures.
- Long periods of time spent sitting and or standing, must be able to lift 25 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 1 year of previous practical real world working environment experience is required, experience within an operating lab is preferred
- Education: Minimum is high school graduate with some college course work completed. Science related degree preferred, but not required.

- Reviews data derived from multiple analytical assays
- Reviews LQC data to ensure passing and compliance to regulations as needed
- Performs laboratory instrument maintenance when authorized to do so
- Contacts service providers and instrument manufacturers for assistance as needed
- As authorized, evaluates and dispositions test results
- Participates in the laboratory quality assurance program as required
- Gives final approval to test results
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of all relevant processes and procedures

We are seeking to add to our collaborative team within our California Sales division, and are focusing on hiring an experienced Sales Representative. Remote work will be considered, with a preference for candidates who reside within the state of California.
Ideal candidates will be eager to learn and grow the SC Labs market share, strive to exceed customer expectations, understand the unique needs of clients in the cannabis industry, and work collaboratively with all divisions to meet company goals.
We will be considering only candidates with a minimum of 5 years previous sales experience, and a proven track record of success.
A minimum of 2 years previous sales experience within a cannabis organization, preferred.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday from 9:30am-6pm
SALARY: $60,000 annually, with a 4% commission structure to be determined.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming sales phone calls and respond to leads quickly and efficiently.
- Follow the sales and onboarding process accurately, contributing to the improvement and efficiency of the team.
- Identify and develop sales opportunities, escalating special projects and including technical support, lab staff, and executive team when necessary.
- Solicit feedback regarding services from potential or existing clients.
- Accurately reflect SC Labs capabilities, services, and products to clients as needed in a professional manner.
- Intimate knowledge and understanding of Company value-adds and features.
- Direct customer contacts, inquiries, and/or complaints to the appropriate department; maintain records of exchanges with customers as required.
- Facilitate completion of Testing Agreements, and terms negotiation with clients.
- Fulfill tasks as needed to maintain proper business function of the Laboratory, including occasional Courier duties.
- Track client interactions and update client information using a CRM.
- Perform client site visits and in person meetings as needed.
- Attends trade shows, and industry events both physically and virtually.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, prepared with status updates.
- Meet and exceed sales goals set by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
