The Opportunity
The US Trade Marketing Manager will be instrumental in supporting the expansion of the BioSteel brand across the United States. This includes building upon successes and introducing the brand to new retailers and consumers.
In this role, you will report into the Director of Trade Marketing and work alongside sales and marketing teams to develop, manage, and execute trade programs with a goal of driving velocities, awareness, trial, and image for the BioSteel brand, while also educating consumers and the trade.
You will also work on the creation and deployment of POS and merchandising tools and analyze the performance of these initiatives.
Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of BioSteelâs US National, Regional and Key Account trade marketing strategy including the development of visual merchandising tools, trade programming, and education across multiple channels

About Us:
SuLo Distro, a local Los Angeles Cannabis Distributor, is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing go to market calendar and trade programming across a portfolio of Cannabis brands. This role is primarily focused on business planning and development of strategic trade programs that effectively bring brands to life at retail and drive Rate of Sale (âROSâ)
Essential Responsibilities
Business Planning:
- Own the go to market programming and calendar for all distributed brands

Marketing Manager- Trade Experiential
Curaleaf is looking for a passionate and creative Trade Experiential manager to join the Brand Customer Experience team in creating best in class brand moments across all Curaleaf owned brands. You will manage the lifecycle of all corporate brand trade experiences while collaborating with cross-functional partners for all visual and creative needs in wholesale accounts. You will ensure that there is brand consistency across markets, that KPIs are measured and tracked, and create recap decks to share with leadership teams to highlight events, trade shows and experiential activations. Job Details
- Manages the day to day development of trade marketing materials for national programs across experiential, event, shop-in-shops, pop-up demo kits, and retail brand activations.
- Works closely withe channel trade teams to develop and execute experiential programs to support brand recognition, customer loyalty, and sales efforts across all regions at scale.
- Manages all external vendor communication relating to experiential creative, production, invoicing and tracking of KPIs
- Helps to execute the brand partnership strategy through managing shop-in-shop, event, pop-up and experiential requests from the field teams.
- Oversees post-mortem decks to highlight all activations to senior leadership, including the gathering and sharing of event / install photography, KPIS.
- Tracks and manages the national budget for experiential activations; responsible for processing all vendor invoices related to managed projects.
- Works closely with Sr. Brand management teams to craft meaningful experiential activations for new product launches, campaigns and seasonal integration across all markets.
- Tracks the success of activations through compiling final reports and highlights at the end of each national and tier 1 activation.
- Manages the department event calendar and coordinates with local teams for timely deployment of activation assets, event set up and pack out schedules.
- Travels as needed to be the on-site contact for vendor management, set up, breakdown.
- Manages all plus up items for standard activation kits including production, procurement, deployment and storage.
- Annual asset auditing, strategy for all owned assets that will be sunset and upkeep of evergreen items.
- Develop, coordinate, implement and manage production process, documentations, and trackers to ensure maximum efficiencies for the life span of all projects.
- RFP, onboarding, meeting scheduling, and communication with agency partners.
- Source and negotiate with appropriate vendors and agencies for events, experiential activations, shop-in-shops and other corporate trade activations as needed.
- Oversees the tracking of national Visual Merchandising budget, and works with regional teams to process all state specific invoices.
- Tracks the success of corporate trade brand initiatives compiling final KPI reports and highlights best in class store activation images.
- Manages shop in shop concept roll out strategy across MSO partner accounts.
- Supports visual merchandising needs for company events, pop-ups, trade shows, etc.
- Travels as needed for market visits, offsite meetings, trade events, quarterly training initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally: maintain partnerships with Studio, Marketing Operations, Channel Marketing, and Sales.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 5+ years of management experience in visual merchandising and/ or retail management
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, Keynote, Smartsheet
- Adobe programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator are a plus
- Cannabis industry experience not required but a plus.
- Team player who is also efficient working autonomously
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task across multiple projects at once.
- Desire to develop and implement creative approaches to training programs that drive tangible results
- Scrappy can-do attitude and an agile thinker and creative.

Job Summary
Winning inside of the dispensary is critical to growing the Kiva business. We are seeking a high performing individual to ensure that the experience a consumer has in our accounts in California is ideal. In this role, the individuals will interface with the marketing and buying teams at our top dispensaries, the Kiva marketing team, and the Kiva sales team to build and execute plans to drive growth inside the store.

As Kiva's Trade Marketing Manager you'll...
- Build strong relationships with the top dispensaries in CA, including entertaining the customers and understanding their pain points
- Build out and execute a world class budtender training and appreciation program
- Manage, train, and grow the Kiva brand ambassador program
- Develop turn key and custom in-store marketing and sales programs to drive growth

What you'll be doing...

We are prioritizing people who have cannabis experience, have managed brand ambassador teams and understand the retail landscape. You will be responsible to hire out the rest of your team totaling to 10+ brand ambassadors.
You will have a Field Marketing Manager directly reporting into you from Northern California that will aid in your management of the Northern CA BA territories.
Applicants would ideally be living in the LA County area.
Job Duties:
- Hiring out a diverse team of brand ambassadors across CA
- Setting, tracking and reporting BA teamâs KPIs to leadership team
- Developing and project managing the creation of in-store merchandising assets, trade facing educational assets and demo assets for the Brand Ambassadors
- Plan and maximize budget resources, analyzing ROI of marketing initiatives
- Provide detailed reports to sales leadership containing marketing goals, forecasts and anticipated asset inventory needs

Requirements:

- 5+ years of CPG marketing experience
- Reliable transportation, driverâs license and excellent driving record
- Work in store and travel in territory 80% of the time with some rare overnight and/or weekend travel
