We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and driven Trade Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Team.
Location: California, Remote
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year
About the opportunity…
As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, and under the supervision of the National Director of Sales and Brand Development, and as a lead in the establishment and growth of customer relationships, this position is responsible for leading cannabis partners and trade marketing activities and initiatives. This position will work closely and collaborate with cross-functional roles on a regular basis to include/ Including sales and field communication, strategic planning, and leading trade marketing discussions with partners.
- Manage a field marketing team of 8 brand ambassadors across the state of California
- Lead the development and implementation of the trade marketing activity calendars and tools
- Create and implement effective portfolio selling tools through the analysis of customer needs
- Lead development of a best-in-class trade marketing planning process with brand partners
- Support sales leads in the development of effective commercial reporting internally and to brand partners
- Lead internal communication of all trade marketing programming
- Responsible for budget management, campaign management, defining/tracking KPIs, and ensuring delivery of strong ROI
- Define and oversee digital asset management (with the internal studio) to ensure complete, accurate, and consistent messaging across all communication channels (comma, catalogue, social)
- Act as the lead point of contact for trade marketing related vendor partners' communication
- Lead the management of partner joint commercial score carding that support continuous improvement
- Lead the development and implementation of corporate digital and social strategy
- Develop external bulletins for retailers
- Develop trade asset systems for the sales team to execute programs

Successful candidates will bring…
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in trade marketing management, with CPG and/or cannabis Industry experience
- Proven experience creating and delivering trade marketing programs and calendars for partners
- Experience in managing a team of people
- a natural leader with the ability to build trust within the team and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment
