Seeking a cool spirited outside sales rep base in Los Angeles to execute sales growth for various cannabis brands. We service various retail stores in the Southern California Market.
Description of Type of Employment
Responsible for effectively applying regional business strategy and objectives at market in order to execute distribution and sales goals by brand, building and maintaining relationships with cannabis retail accounts, and representing our brands at event promotions and industry events.
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Business Responsibilities
- Embrace and employ overall and regional business strategy in market in order to drive growth with in all retail business (Points of Distribution and Rate of Sale)
Manage assignments and workflow, tasks to include:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prioritize and target key account list under direction of regional strategy
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ensure pricing alignment at retail
- Inventory management at retail
- Increase brand presence in the marketplace by facilitating promotional and sales events each month
- Serve as ambassador and educator of the Sulo Distro brands, culture, and mission.
- Maintain and strengthen current business partnerships with on and off premise retail accounts
- Drive sales by building and establishing new business partnerships with on and off premise retail accounts, maintaining placement goals and expectations
- Distributor Responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen relationships with Distributor sales teams
- Assist in assessing and reviewing Distributor performance.

Seeking a Revenue-Focused Direct to Consumer Accounts Manager based in Canoga Park to execute sales growth for various cannabis brands sold and distributed by SULO DISTRO. We service various Direct to Consumer relationships for cannabis sales in the state of California.
Reports to: Sales Leadership
Position Summary: Responsible for driving New Accounts set up and activated with direct to consumer web providers, and portals. Work with existing accounts through strategic development of trade programs that effectively bring brands to life online. Hands on management of select key accounts that could acutely benefit from additional support in driving consumer awareness and increasing purchasing across the SuLo product portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities (Account Activation and Sell Through):
- Prospect and rate potential C9 license holders for volume of sales potential using the following metrics and any other metrics relevant to the success of selling multiple brands through the specific channel.
- Number of deliveries per day
- Ticket value
- Overall consumer database
- Delivery region coverage
- Permitted Drivers or staff
- Depots
- Delivery logistics
- Develop Virtual education programs that leverage conducting off-site trainings, and product placements - including but not limited to brand launches, product launches, and promotions.
- Support Brand Education and portfolio positioning, including development of ideal menu categories for individual brands
- Own the go-to-market “virtual Launch and consumer awareness
- Ensure Menu Accuracy on all accounts at all times
- Work collaboratively across Marketing and Sales to ensure digital assets are published as needed to the vendor for immediate publication.
- Manage SuLo brand proliferation and sell-through with each web portal provided by D2C vendor.
- Development of menu guidelines and best practices that drive optimal placement/visibility and effectively convey brand to consumer at point of purchase.
- Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders
- Work closely with Sales Manager in delivering effective communications with D2C vendors - including but not limited to email newsletters, digital assets, weekly promos, new products, store locators, etc
Essential Responsibilities (Account Management)
- Develop, nurture, and leverage relationships with key influence and decision makers in assigned stores and markets in order to maximize brand presence and rate of sale
- Success measured by
- retention rate of assigned accounts
- increased ROS month over month

- Month over Month (existing products) as applicable
- Keep key accounts engaged and hyped on brands across total portfolio
- Communicate Development Budget required by Key Accounts to create custom programming and activations specific to website, and brand pages.
- Regularly evaluate and provide feedback on strategic opportunities for assigned key accounts
- Activity or KPI Expectation:
- 3 days prospecting and database updates
- KPI levels to be reviewed quarterly based on activation levels.
- Upon activation, Conducting Menu maintenance, and inventory reviews weekly or daily as needed.
- 6-10 accounts per week
- Logging all account interactions in the CRM tool.
Distribution Partner Support

About Us:
SuLo Distro, a local Los Angeles Cannabis Distributor, is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing go to market calendar and trade programming across a portfolio of Cannabis brands. This role is primarily focused on business planning and development of strategic trade programs that effectively bring brands to life at retail and drive Rate of Sale (“ROS”)
Essential Responsibilities
Business Planning:
- Own the go to market programming and calendar for all distributed brands
- Develop impactful trade programs and execution toolkits to support and leverage key selling occasions - including but not limited to brand launches, product launches, promotions, and retail brand activations
- Develop merchandising and brand activation guidelines that drive optimal placement/visibility and effectively convey brand to consumer at point of purchase
- Source, manage, and coordinate commercial assets and collateral including merch, PPG, Displays, and POS material
- Manage SuLo brand asset library, ensuring the field team is aware and prepared of new assets and product releases.
- Manage industry conferences and trade show activations on behalf of SuLo
- Provide consumer and shopper connected solutions based on Shopper Occasions & Insights to drive Rate of Sale (ROS)
- Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders
Communication & Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively across Marketing, Sales, and Partner brand stakeholders to ensure trade marketing programs are developed and deployed effectively
- Develop and manage routine e-mail communications to retailers, ensuring effective communication of programs and initiatives
- Support front line sales team execute meaningful brand activations and events
- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Schedule regular ride alongs with field team to support and identify new trade marketing opportunities
Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle driving record
- At least 2 years of CPG trade marketing experience, Cannabis experience a plus!
