The Opportunity
The US Trade Marketing Manager will be instrumental in supporting the expansion of the BioSteel brand across the United States. This includes building upon successes and introducing the brand to new retailers and consumers.
In this role, you will report into the Director of Trade Marketing and work alongside sales and marketing teams to develop, manage, and execute trade programs with a goal of driving velocities, awareness, trial, and image for the BioSteel brand, while also educating consumers and the trade.
You will also work on the creation and deployment of POS and merchandising tools and analyze the performance of these initiatives.
Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of BioSteel’s US National, Regional and Key Account trade marketing strategy including the development of visual merchandising tools, trade programming, and education across multiple channels

Bring the BioSteel brand to life at retail by applying a consumer-first approach and leveraging a wide range of brand assets to connect with consumers with a goal of driving distributor and retailer engagement and sell-through

Proactively identify and facilitate opportunities to drive business growth and brand priorities with our top customers

Support the on-boarding of new retailers with unique trade programming and build integrated marketing plans cross-functionally to amplify the message

Build and implement scorecards to track overall metrics and analyze performance of trade programs

Ensure guidelines are in place to support the execution of trade tools by our distributors and field teams

Work cross-functionally and with external vendors on the design, budgeting, and procurement of trade tools

Support the sales team and act as a point of contact for retailer marketing questions and needs

Brief and oversee development of creative deliverables with the internal Design Team; and collaborate with Legal to finalize promotional terms and conditions

Ensure that key information is captured and shared with stakeholders in a timely manner

Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Related Field

Agency experience is a plus

5+ years of relevant trade marketing and retail execution experience with a proven track record of success

Must have an in-depth understanding of the US retail environment

Comfortable working with data and the ability to use data to identify trends and opportunities

Adaptable to respond to the demands of a rapidly growing and changing business

A strategic and innovative thinker with the ambition to act like an owner in a highly entrepreneurial environment

This is a full-time remote role based in the US.
Canopy Growth offers a wide range of benefits for employees in the United States including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k plan, and paid time off.
Pay range: $59,000 - $73,000 USD per year; commensurate with experience, specific to Colorado.
