The Cash Clerk contributes to the success of the company by assisting the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Store Manager(s) in ensuring that all cash transactions and operations are handled efficiently, accurately and timely.
Essential Functions:
- Performs all front-of-house and back-of-house store functions that involve cash. Including but not limited to: register opening and closing procedures, cash-handling procedures, etc.
- Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the shift team.
- Opens and closes tills for all store employees; conducts reconciliation process for the vault.
- Prepares Payments.
- Completes reconciliation and vault logs, both paper and digital.
- Maintains, scans and upload all financial documents.
- Completes driver payout document.
- Prepares change requests and prepares / closes out ATM.
- Confirms key return for tills and verifies budtender register areas are clear at the end of each shift.
- Demonstrates ability to monitor changes in team or store morale and/or performance while maintaining effective communication with the managers
- Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the shift team.
- Performs a mid-month and a month-end cash count. (Must be approved by the Cash Clerk Lead).
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
- Education/credentials from institutions such as Oaksterdam are preferred.

POSITION DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: Cultivation Associates
JOB DIVISION: Cultivation
OVER-TIME STATUS: Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The General Manager oversees the cultivation division and effectively manages the activities of all Cultivation Technicians including but not limited to, planning projects, scheduling work and completing tasks within specified timelines and approved budgets.
TO FULFILL THIS POSITION SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY.
Essential Functions:
 Hire, train, and coach cultivation employees according to established standard operating procedures.
 Build trust, relationships, and cohesion between team members.
 Coordinates and partners with all functions within the business to ensure synergy.
 Enforce all regulations set forth by the State of California and City of Oakland per the direction of the Compliance Team and other regulatory entities.
 Create grow cycles for flower production.
 Manage and adjust light cycles for each room as deemed necessary.
 Mix nutrients and supply plants with enriched water.
 Restock, supply, and monitor all equipment, nutrients, chemicals, and inventory.
 Report and oversee all data entered into the state track and trace system.
 Oversee, manage, and be knowledgeable of vegetative room activities.
 Oversee, manage, and be knowledgeable bloom room activities.
 Monitor overall health of plants daily.
 Document and monitor all daily activities pertaining to the cultivation site.
 Manage B2B relationships with distributors.
 Complete shipping manifests, weigh certificates, and invoices for outgoing products
 Ensure all outgoing product is weighed and labeled correctly.
 Create and run reports of inventory consumption, chemical and nutrient usage, weight of plants manicured, product yields, and make informed decisions based on data to increase efficiency.
 Adjust SOPs to increase efficiency when necessary.
 Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Cultivation Associate
The Cultivation Associate performs nursery/greenhouse responsibilities to assist in the upkeep, stocking and fulfillment of growing cannabis in our cultivation facilities.
Essential Functions:
- Collects harvested flower from the General Manager/Head Grower.
- Manicures and trims all flower to standards set forth by the General Manager.
- Weigh all shake, stem and material trimmed from the plant.
- Sort and weigh each yield from each individual plant.
- Reports all weights collected to the General Manager.
- Germinates seeds in a clean environment to ensure no contamination.
- Creates viable and healthy clones from mother plants.
- Transplants plants and transfers plants.
- Manicures, de-leafs and trims plants.
- Mixes nutrients as directed by the General Manager.
- Sprays and introduces preventative controls for pests.
- Ensures light cycles are effective and appropriate.
- Records all weights trimmed, nutrients used, chemicals sprayed; and tags plants as required by the state track and trace system.
- Changes light bulbs as necessary.
- Monitors and adjusts environmental controls (i.e. humidity, temperature, etc.) when necessary.
- Monitors plants healthy and reports all anomalies to the General Manager.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors Degree in Horticulture and/or technical certification, a plus.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or other alternative healthcare organizations, highly preferred.

The Cultivation Associate performs nursery/greenhouse responsibilities to assist in the upkeep, stocking and fulfillment of growing cannabis in our cultivation facilities.

- Records all weights trimmed, nutrients used, chemicals sprayed; and tags plants as required by the state track and trace system.
- Changes light bulbs as necessary.
- Monitors and adjusts environmental controls (i.e. humidity, temperature, etc.) when necessary.
- Monitors plants healthy and reports all anomalies to the General Manager.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors Degree in Horticulture and/or technical certification, a plus.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or other alternative healthcare organizations, highly preferred.
- Prior nursery, landscaping, and/or agricultural experience, a plus.
Special Requirements/Certification:
- Cultivation license; preferred

The Grower position is responsible for assisting in the management of crop growing operations for the greenhouse. This position is also responsible for the proper care of the greenhouse, including the principles and practices of plant cultivation, propagation, and protection.
Essential Functions:
- Discuss plant growing activities with Head Grower that are consistent with planned production schedules
- Monitor growing conditions and discuss changes in humidity, moisture, temperature and other cultivation procedures with Head Grower to ensure conformance with quality control standards
- Prepare space required for planned production
- Determine nutrient and watering/moisture requirements
- Responsible for identifying crop issues and diagnosis of unknown health or damage problems
- Maintain records of crop activities and observations, including organic pesticide applications and growth records
- Must learn fundamentals of Environmental Control System and be able to perform basic program changes, run graphs and interpret data that relate to system
- Assist in training new employees in growing techniques and activities
- Maintain current knowledge of growing techniques and technologies
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Horticulture or related field or;
- Associates Degree in Horticulture or related field with 1-2 years experience or;

General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the retail location. The GM creates and implements SOPs, trains and educates staff, serves as administrator for POS system and serves as a liaison between the retail environment and our corporate stakeholders.
