An indoor cannabis farm in Spokane, WA, is in need of someone to join our trimming and packaging team. Duties for this person will include assisting with making and packaging joints as well as assisting with harvesting, bucking, trimming, labeling, weighing, sealing, and barcoding. The right candidate will be someone who can take direction and work independently on tasks throughout the day.

- Tracks production.
- Makes joints and assists with making joints.

Position Summary: Cannabis producer seeking experienced dry trim staff for licensed cultivation facility. Please read entire job summary and be able to meet all the basic requirements/functions before applying. Essential Functions:
- Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch.
- Trim cannabis to meet company aesthetics, producing the highest quality product efficiently.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Employee must account for each by-product type processed off the flower; adding stems and fan leaves to “waste” for proper tracking.
- Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
- Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
- Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing the highest quality product.

- Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.

- Trim staff is responsible for clean-up, disinfection of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day. This also include light janitorial tasks.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sterility of workspace at all times.
- Employee must maintain quality standards, flower integrity and adapt to various strains/techniques.
- Employee must be able to work on production requiring accurate weighting, sanitary procedures and perform the task in an accurate, neat and professional manner.
- This includes functional support of primary and secondary packaging, product labeling, and inspection (visual and automated), of topical and ingestible products that will include liquid, powder, gels, tablets, vape devices, edibles, and flower product forms including prerolls and any other cannabis products produced by the company.
Additional Functions:
- Ability to be flexible and work in various areas of the company as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with harvests, small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working elsewhere as needed.

Job Specifications:
- Trim staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company.
- Trim staff must have a basic understanding of Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and Maine OMP; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
- Must have an IIC card issues by OCP Maine to be eligible for employment in the Maine cannabis industry
· Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, packaging, trimming and curing; initial focus on trimming with other areas being taught/expected by employees while still maintaining their capabilities as a trimmer.

- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations

Position Overview:
The Packaging and Processing Technician is responsible for handling and processing dry plant material, running standard production machinery, weighing, manicuring, inspecting and assisting with general packaging of products within our facility. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently trim flower according to Affinity standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Effectively prepare flower material for pre-roll production and run the basic machinery to roll pre-rolls.
- Accurately perform filling, packaging, and labeling of products within the production facility. This includes, but is not limited to bulk flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, edibles, and other marijuana infused products.
