Job Summary

Responsibilities ·
Overseeing the final stages of Cannabis crop production from harvest to finished goods
· Authoritatively provide technical expertise, advise and direction to Post Production employees
· Ensuring facilities are clean and pest-free
· Assist with the management of all aspects of Post Production, including harvest, trimming, packaging, inventory, order fulfillment and personnel
· Assist with the hiring and firing of Post Production employees
· Utilize Leaf Logix, METRC and other internal documents to record and report production data to the administrative/executive team in a timely manner
· Assist with the development of plans/systems and assign duties accordingly
· Organize and document the daily process of harvesting, bucking, trimming, and packaging of finished Cannabis
· Ensure the environmental requirements of a Harvest/Curing area are consistently met (including temperature and humidity)
· Manage digital climate control systems to ensure harvested crops and finished goods benefit from optimal environmental conditions
· Report equipment maintenance issues to the maintenance team, Post Production Manager, Cultivation Leads and/or Director of Cultivation immediately
· Ensure tasks are performed with adherence to legal compliance & safety regulations as well as company standard operating procedures
· Assist with the direction, supervision, training, and coaching of Post Production employees according to industry and company standards of quality
· Inspect the quality of each harvest and report any plant health issues (mold mildew, and/or pest infestations) immediately to the Post Production Manager, Cultivation Leads and Director of Cultivation
· Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude while performing tasks on behalf of the company/facility
· Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance, reporting to work on time and completing each shift as scheduled

Duties/Responsibilities
- Update all production employees’ schedules on our timesheet system, monitor time-off requests, communicate with employees about schedule changes.
- Monitor production Google Sheets, Monday boards, Worksheets, and Picklists for daily completion.
- Create/Monitor work orders in the ERP system based on the production schedule set by the team.
- Training/Retraining team members on all production SOPs, conduct daily monitoring that everyone is following protocols and assisting in updating SOPs/Protocols as needed.
- Schedule and plan overtime for production if necessary based on sales and inventory
- Assist in monthly stock takes of production inventory.
- Identify and respond to employee issues; mitigate employee issues to prevent damage to morale and keep turnover rate low. Record and report all concerns to the Production Manager.
- Participate in production meetings by taking creditable notes and contributing ideas on how to improve protocols/procedures.
- Conduct monthly check-ins with production new hires.
- Oversee the entire Gummy floor and delegate tasks as needed to maintain production.
- Assist in tracking gummy waste i.e. overseeing waste pickups, ensuring barrels in production do not overfill, & handling/filing of all data logs.
- Track attendance offenses per employee and relay information to the HR department.
- Track and calculate KPIs by team/employee.
- Assisting with other projects given to by Managers.
Requirements

Production Assistant Manager
Daily Tasks n Things
- Assist Production Manager is leading the team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Help Tasty’s team of experienced lead mixers, new mixers, and assemblers complete their day to day assigned tasks
- Actively lead the team, be the Production Managers right hand when it comes monitoring performance, guiding team through tasks, enforcing rules, and setting expectations
- Keep an eye on all areas of production such as cookies, gummies, hard candies, etc. to ensure proper flow, meeting all production goals, and maintaining compliance with OLCC and ODA rules and regulations
- Ensure all products are mixed and assembled according to SOP’s and regulation standards
- Follow all ODA and OLCC guidelines
Skills n Stuff
- Must be proficient in math and applied sciences; in order to properly assist mixers in certain situations, there is a sometimes need to perform applied multivariable algebra for formulas and recipes
- Experience in using Microsoft Office is required, many of the companies’ internal workings are done through excel and word, must be able to use and understand these
- Extensive knowledge and experience in OLCC Regulations, ODA Food Safety, OSHA safety, and other regulatory agency requirements
- Be reliable; we are a team oriented work place, being dependable is one of the most important things to maintain our teams workflow.
- Be able to stand on feet, lift objects, and perform repetitive motions for 8-10 hours at a time. Comfortable with lifting 50lb bags occasionally. Be willing to stay and put the hours in during crunch times to make sure team meets it’s goals.
Experience
- Leadership Experience: must have at least 1-2 years of direct leadership over teams of at least 7 people.
- Leadership in any of the following lines up: Food Processing, Baking, Candy Making, Commercial Kitchen, Warehousing, Line Cook, Food Sciences, Hard Sciences, Barista, General Cannabis Industry, Metrc Experience, Marijuana Processing, Marijuana Production, or Marijuana Retail.
- Must be familiar and experienced in OLCC rules & regulations, as well as metrc experience

- $20-$22 / hr starting depending on Skills & Experience
- Health Care: after 60 days, ability to sign up for 50/50 match options; after a year of employment, 100% coverage options

Responsibilities Include:
Assist in the management of lab employees including but not limited to, supervising common tasks, tracking and holding accountable for performance metrics, assist in increasing overall awareness, skills, and performance of the team

QA and Tier rating of all products produced by lab
Maintaining a positive supportive role for the team in leading them to success.

Qualifications:
2 years prior experience in cannabis manufacturing lab

The Assistant Manager oversees and maintains quality control measures to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks including prepping and packaging. The Assistant Manager must monitor and maintain production facility in accordance with safety standards, FDA, government and State regulations.
Job Duties:
- Oversee production by creating and reviewing production schedule; study and clarify specifications; calculate requirements; assemble and accurately weigh materials and supplies
- QA/QC duties that require analytical testing for quality and consistency; data review
- Operate highly sophisticated equipment; process concentrates
- Clean and maintain equipment and laboratory facility following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures; comply with legal regulations; monitor environment
- Operate, maintain, and make adjustments and repairs to laboratory equipment such as liquid chromatography systems, pumps, microscopes, balances, centrifuges, and other laboratory equipment
- Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment
- Maintain and stock supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory, storerooms and working areas immaculate
- Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware
- Create SOPs, training records, and related documentation
- Maintain material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products
Compliance:
- Ensure processing operation is fully compliant with state regulations and federal and state law
- Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements
- Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory and documents production by completing forms, reports, logs and records
Requirements:
- Preferred BS/BA Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering (mechanical/Systems) OR Chemical Engineering
- MS Dynamics ERP systems knowledge or similar
- 3+ yrs. experience managing production operations
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Must obtain a MED Badge before first day of employment
Skills:
- Able to process samples by collection, preparing for analysis, and quantifying results
- Familiar use of a wide range of pipettes and knowing their volume capabilities
- Health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a manufacturing environment
- Proper and safe handling and disposal of chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes
- Capabilities with computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories
record-keeping procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform repetitive techniques accurately and consistently
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, along with frequent bending
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds with assistance
