- Participate in cannabis harvest processes including de-leafing, harvesting of wet plants, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, and handling cannabis waste per OLCC requirements.
- Trim dried product with quality and care (up to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
- Cleans and sanitizes all spaces in facility
- Assisting with packaging and weighing as requested
- May include participating in pre-roll production
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes.
- Follow all company procedures, OLCC rules, State laws, and directives given by management staff.

POST PRODUCTION CANNABIS TECHNICIAN-TRIMMER
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Post Production Technician-Trimmer is primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of cannabis plant during harvesting, drying, curing, and packaging. Efficiently bucks and trims plants. The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; is resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team, and prioritizes quality and customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Breakdown flowers off stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from usable product. This includes identifying and separating fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower
- Sit or stand for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming. Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming: adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality
- Weighing and recording weights including green waste and using METRC as applicable
- Track the metrics for the trimming process
- Clean up all production areas and tools between strains and at the end of every shift
- Understand and follow all rules and regulations for harvest and inventory management including wet weight measurements, dry weight measurements, and harvest batch requirements as set out in the State of Michigan regulations
- Understand and follow all safety protocols, compliance and SOP’s. Help refine and develop SOPs through each stage of the post-harvest process.
- Follow all state regulations, SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A year of experience in cannabis cultivation is preferred, but not required
- The candidate should have a HS diploma or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on agriculture, manufacturing, crop management or business, and/or 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- A background in quality control is a plus.
- The ideal candidate is focused on quality, inventory organization and ability to monitor every stage of the post-harvest process and compliance.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Trimming & Packaging Specialists are responsible for preparing medical Cannabis products for distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the harvest and curing process of medical cannabis
- Working in our production areas of grow and/or trim and pack
- Labeling and recording inventory data
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to; state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote quality
- Work in a quick and efficient manner and strives to consistently increase productivity
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the trimming room while performing all duties
Education and Qualifications:
- Must stay current and adhere to all policy regulations of the state of New Jersey
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures
- Excellent computer, mathematic, language, and reasoning skills
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year experience preferred
