Objective:
The Inventory Specialist will manage all aspects of inventory at Etain LLC’s manufacturing facility in Chestertown, NY. This includes maintaining an inventory log for finished product, predict and prepare for production supplies, and consumables. This position also includes responsibilities such as QA/QC, maintaining printers for barcodes and labeling, procurement, managing vendors, and implementing automation where possible. The Inventory Specialist must ensure that all Etain team members have access to the right supplies when and where needed and must make purchases and plans made on production projections and schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory Specialist tasks include but are not limited to the following list. You may be asked to perform any or all of these tasks on a given day while maintaining compliance with the New York State Regulations, Etain LLC Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices. Etain LLC strives to create a teamwork-oriented environment and all employees are expected to help in other departments if they have down time.
Maintain inventory logs for final product, works in progress, returned items, consumables, excipients, and all other materials required by the manufacturing facility.
Implement and maintain automation for inventory tracking where possible and train others on the use of new systems
Inspect deliveries for defects, approve receipt, and track incoming inventory
Perform and assist in quality control checks of final products and work collaboratively with members of other departments to perform standard inventory audits and checks of medicated materials and products
Destroy waste products such as returned inventory, or byproducts of manufacturing and cultivation in compliance with Etain Health and New York State Department of Health procedures and regulations
Maintain detailed daily logs of activities, yields, quality control assessments, standard maintenance, both on paper and through the company tracking software.
Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles. Check inventory quantity on both inbound and outbound shipments against shipping manifests and operate a forklift to receive deliveries (Training available on site at Etain)
Perform Quality Control and Quality Assurance checks on all lots and sublots produced within the manufacturing center and on inventory purchased from other suppliers.
Maintain a vendor list and good vendor relationships
Competencies:
Ability to accurately perform repetitive actions
Attention to detail required for complex recordkeeping
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for 8 hours
High Level of manual dexterity
Excellent communication skills
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
Work Environment:
This is both an office and manual labor position which involves repetitive tasks, rigorous reporting, and attention to detail. This position operates within a manufacturing environment and requires daily use of personal protective equipment such as respirators, hair nets, beard coverings, gloves, shoe covers, sanitary scrubs, and goggles. Personal hygiene is especially important because Etain LLC manufactures pharmaceutical quality medication and all employees are expected to bathe daily and to change into clean clothing upon entering the building.

Bachelor’s Degree
5 Years’ experience in quality control, or manufacturing warehouse setting
Equivalent level of education, training, and experience
Good Manufacturing Practices Certification
Fork Lift Certification

In this role you will work to efficiently trim cannabis plants, while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for sale or processing. This person will be responsible for maintaining and following cultivation procedures.
- Hand trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Sit for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming, as well as post trim upkeep
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch, in addition to usable by-products
- Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and math
- Assure daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules
- Prepare packaging and flower product, such as pre-rolls, whole flower jars, etc.
- Follow the Etain LLC guidelines for sanitary practices regarding hand washing, and the use of PPE such as protective lenses, gloves, hair nets, scrubs, and work shoes, and face masks
- Work cohesively with team members to achieve department objectives
Salary

Objective:
The Facilities Technician is a highly versatile individual who assists in many areas of the business. While their primary responsibility is ensuring the operations and maintenance of company manufacturing equipment and the cleanliness of the manufacturing facility, they will also assist with deliveries, harvests and packaging. We are looking for someone with great communication, organization and mechanical skills to lead this role. You will be expected to work in a variety of settings including outdoors, in delivery vehicles and in sterile labs and greenhouses. This position occasionally will require long hours on the road, traveling between Etain LLC locations for deliveries and pickups. Driving proficiency is required. The Facilities Technician is required to be on call during some nights, holidays, and weekends to provide assistance for alarms in Automated Logic, Link 4 or maintenance repairs. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilities Technician tasks include, but are not limited to the following list. You may be asked to perform any or all of these tasks on a given day while maintaining compliance with the New York State Regulations, Etain LLC Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform repairs and maintenance within facilities
- Great organizational skills and proactively communicate with all essential personnel
- Complete preventative maintenance on plant and manufacturing equipment
- Work on assignments where initiative is required in resolving problems and making recommendations
- Requires basic knowledge of all plant systems and equipment and the ability to provide technical support to all departments when required
- Perform work in the following maintenance trades: plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, and electrical
- Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
- Effectively work in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives
- Assist with janitorial work such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, stripping, sealing, waxing floors, vacuuming
- Plow and shovel snow
- Ability to interface with vendors and other outside contractors
- Assist in the cultivation department on an as needed basis
- Conducts various other tasks as instructed by management

Cultivation Assistants will engage in all cultivation tasks from daily watering through to post harvest processing. They will also participate in quality control tasks such as auditing and Good Agricultural Practice logs. All team members must maintain a clean environment suitable for the production of medical products, and work cohesively as part of a team to achieve department objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivation Assistant tasks include, but are not limited to the following list. You may be asked to perform any or all of these tasks on a given day while maintaining compliance with the relevant regulations and Good Agricultural Practices.
- Utilize irrigation equipment and hand watering methods to apply solutions formulated with the correct nutrients and pH.
- Prepare grow media using specialized machinery, and prepare pots for transplanting.
- Maintain plants through pruning, trellising, and defoliating.
- Move plants to selected areas while maintaining BioTrack records accurately.
- Participate in harvest activities including defoliation, trimming, bud removal, drying, grinding, packaging, cleaning, and waste removal.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with the New York State Regulations, and Good Agricultural Practices.
- Follow the Etain LLC guidelines for sanitary practices regarding hand washing, and the use of PPE such as protective lenses, suits, gloves, shoe covers, scrubs, and work shoes, and face masks.
- Participate in cleaning all cultivation areas, including within greenhouses, hallways, and drying rooms.
- Participate in training sessions designed to either improve your skills or your understanding of Etain LLC and the New York State Regulations.
- Work cohesively with team members to achieve department objectives.

Importantly, all members of the cultivation staff must wear PPE including Tyvek suits, scrubs, boot covers, protective eyewear, hair and beard nets, gloves, and face masks.
