POSITION SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Technician/Driver (S&R Tech) is a critical part of the Conception Nurseries Business Operations team. This individual is responsible for the transportation and delivery of goods to our customers and for ensuring all supplies coming into the facility are properly stored and/or distributed to the appropriate operations staff for use. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure that plants ready for sale are appropriately packed, correctly labeled with the accurate delivery address, and delivered on time to the customer cultivation site. This individual will be required to submit a Motor Vehicle Report from the DMV showing they have a clean, valid California driver's license. This position will report directly to the Shipping and Receiving Lead.

- Day to day communication with Operations, Production, and Sales leadership to ensure all shipping and receiving and distribution needs are executed accurately and in a timely manner.

JOB SUMMARY
Redbud Roots is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Technician for our growing team. This position may perform a multitude of duties which include the following: organizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to another. - Computing cost of freight, putting together invoices and verifying product shipment.
- The use of radio frequency identification (RFI) equipment to scan barcodes for inventory control.
- Operating equipment such as counterbalance forklift, narrow isle standup forklift and pallet jack.
- Stacking and unstacking pallets in correct locations.
- Monitoring and processing secured biomass and trash disposal.
- Forklift training instructor and record completed certificates.
- Monitoring and maintaining propane tanks and lock cages at all locations.
- Cleaning and sanitizing transport bays, forklifts, golfcarts, and storage areas.
- Maintain and conduct preventative maintenance on shipping and receiving equipment.
- Upkeep records and invoices for forklifts, floor scrubbers, golf carts and personal lifts.
- Monitoring packaging area and keeping it filled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experiences:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Assists the Assistant Shipping Manager to ensure there is adequate inventory and par levels packaged and ready for shipping each shift/day.
- Makes sure product, dispensary and tamper proof labels are correctly placed on each product.
