Position Summary/Objective
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing Ethos' local marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will oversee all local digital and print marketing and promotion and other promotional functions of the company. This position will directly support the marketing initiatives for dispensaries for the assigned state/region (i.e. PA, MA, MD or OH). Responsibilities
- Support the comprehensive and integrated marketing, communications, and public relations strategy developed by the marketing team.
- Consult with Ethos' management team to assess local marketing needs of the organization.
- Coordinate and execute customer direct marketing - including email and text communications multiple times each week
- Work with the Trade Marketing & Merchandising team to coordinate trade, events and merchandising with dispensary staff
- Contribute to social media marketing activities
- Coordinate, along with the local management team, patient and physician outreach.
- Support the marketing team's multi-channel marketing approach (including retail, digital, direct, educational, and informational channels) to effectively target key constituents/segments (including physicians) and differentiate Ethos from other dispensaries and growers. Assist with digital and offline advertising, as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on the creation of content used for educational, merchandising and product information purposes, especially as it relates to the market.
- Participate in the editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of marketing materials including publications and digital assets; maintain assets including website, video and electronic menu systems, brochures, line cards, digital and print content.
- Develop promotional campaigns, working closely with management and marketing team.
- Help coordinate media interest in Ethos and all media contact, requests, and communication.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree; marketing, business, journalism, public relations, or other relevant discipline is preferred.
Work Experience:
- 2+ years' work experience with a focus in marketing, event planning, communications, or public relations experience.
- Solid understanding of marketing, event planning, communications, and public relations activities.
- Considerable expertise in making presentations, writing marketing content, and planning events.

- Work with Marketing Project Directors to develop scalable and creative Retail Marketing strategies that engage customers and budtenders statewide.

Experience and Requirements

We are looking for a Retail Marketing Coordinator who will report to the Retail Marketing Manager, and support the planning and implementation of all High Profile Cannabis Shop retail marketing needs, including new store launches, consumer-facing promotions, in-store and community events, and unique retail store experiences for High Profile stores!
In this role you will...
- Assist Marketing team in the development and implementation of the High Profile marketing programs.
- Coordinate retail marketing materials for new store launches and existing stores including but not limited to temporary signage, store operations assets like a-frames and rules/procedures signage, and in-store collateral.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in managing calendars for retail promotions, including creative, merchandise planning and retail operations.
- Develop and foster relationships with local third-party vendors, medical offices, certification centers, nursing homes, senior centers, therapeutic groups, support groups, gyms, yoga studios, local businesses, organizations, and referral sources in coordination with retail management team.
- Coordinate, order, and request retail marketing materials such as social posts and in-store advertising from various internal and external partners for products and events.
- Plan and execute events including staffing, station set-up/accommodation, giveaways, and advertising; troubleshoot problems before, during, and after the event to ensure success.
- Take photos/videos of appropriate events.
- Prepare and report marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
- Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Skills and experience you have...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Retail Management or related field, 2+ years' experience or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills and with ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
- Ability to use good judgment in a fast-moving environment with strong desire to desire to research and implement marketing best practices.
- Thrive in a rapidly changing environment, are curious and have a passion for working in a growing Marketing team and a partnering with other internal departments and outside vendors

Job Duties:
- Markets retail branding by evaluating and implementing best strategies for marketing and advertising, including (but not limited to) local media, digital efforts and social media.

This position will work with the Retail Marketing team to create and implement targeted marketing and communications efforts. Coordinate workflows across all aspects of the business. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid in coordination of both short and long-term retail marketing plans.
- Be the “tie that binds” retail ops/comms and marketing.
- Ensure that all branded retail marketing assets and in-store initiatives are executed flawlessly and communicated out to the teams in a way that is easy to understand and relay to associates
- Vet and manage all 3rd party retail technology + digital marketing platforms (ie. PotGuide, Weedmaps, I Heart Jane, Surfside, etc.).

- Manage retail marketing creative brief process in partnership with the Marketing Projects Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing highly preferred, will consider relevant experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in retail marketing, retail promotions, and event planning required.
- 3+ years’ experience coordinating or managing marketing projects required.
- Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as experience with CRM and marketing digital tools and platforms required.
