Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Maintenance Worker with a specialization in electrical work to join our team in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities*:
The Electrician (E) will assist as a member of the maintenance team responsible for the overall electrical operation and electrical maintenance of and with-in the facility. E will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on the production/cultivation facility and machinery. E will provide observed meaningful feedback to leadership to ensure electrical maintenance is real time, strategic, and executed seamlessly within the operation. Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the operational Directors to manage facilities and equipment safely in accordance with operational needs.
Repair equipment, along with repairs including but not limited to grow lights, fans, HVAC, electrical, etc.
Execute work request system along with a record keeping process.
- Process and log all maintenance and repair work to include daily report on the status of repairs.
Conduct safety inspections to ensure all equipment is operating optimally and create a cadence for ongoing inspections.
Aid in receiving and storing of supplies and materials across all departments
Aids ICC (I) to verify manifest, break down pallets and boxes, and stages/stores all supplies to proper destination.

About This Role

We are looking for an Electrician to add to our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing and maintaining the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in our buildings.
Responsibilities

- Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
- Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.
- Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
- Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
- Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
- Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
- Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work with high power and low power safely.

The Position

The Qualifications

- Safety and safe working practices pertaining to high voltage electrical work, including ensuring clearances, and working on energized lines and equipment

Full Job Description
Electrician/Master Gardener - Treehous, LLC
Treehous, LLC is the parent company to Townhome Landscapes (www.townhomelandscapes.com) and Capital Grow Consulting (www.capitalgrowco.net). Work will be split between remote and field work for Townhome Landscapes and Capital Grow Consulting.
Townhome Landscapes is a one-stop shop for landscaping maintenance and design services in Washington DC. The majority of your time spent work will be on Townhome Landscapes related tasks.
Primary Responsibilities With Townhome Landscapes
- conduct walkthroughs of job sites, complete site maps for estimate creation
- lead estimation and completion of electrical work for Townhome
Landscapes.
- expected to assist on other one-time projects as necessary
Other Responsibilities
- assist operations crew as necessary to complete work on-time
- creating process flows and job aides
Capital Grow Consulting is the premier hub for novice home gardeners in Washington DC. We efficiently provide our clients with the skills, knowledge and experience to grow superior organic produce through hands-on and remote education. We are setting DC Residents up with state-of-the-art craft cannabis home gardens; besides consulting on the set-up of the home garden, we focus on teaching the no-till method. Currently, we are focused on consulting on cannabis and herbs, but are preparing to consult on tomatoes, peppers and other types of produce.
Primary Responsibilities with Capital Grow Consulting
- Conduct walkthroughs of job sites, complete site maps for estimate creation.
- Lead estimation and completion of electrical work for Capital Grow
Consulting.
- Remotely consult with clients, on their home garden.
- Consults with clients in-person, on their home garden
Other Responsibilities:
- Attend Weekly Meeting with the Master Gardener Team
- Attend Weekly Meeting with the CEO
- Documenting and improving process flows and job aids
- Compiling and creating educational media
Work Schedule:
Each week select the time slots you are available to work. The next weeks schedule (Mon.-Fri.) is set the Friday in advance.
The first 4 weeks, expect to average 4 days of work, 8 hours each. After 4 weeks, expect to work 5 days, 8 hours each.
Pay Schedule:
Pay is administered weekly on Fridays, for the prior pay period (Monday - Sunday).
Hourly Rate:
Electrical Related Work - $32/hr
Other Work - $21/hr

Required Experience
- Electrician License (Active)
Preferred Experience
- Experience creating estimates for electrical work.
- Experience working on outdoor renovation of homes (hardscape installation, landscape installation, irrigation installation, etc.).
- Prior experience successfully cultivating and harvesting high quality produce
- Certification/Degree related to agriculture, cannabis, soil science, botany or other relevant schooling.
- Currently involved with cultivation of cannabis.
