Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for management of all legal affairs, including external counsel, and liaison to the Board and executives of all business entities, ensuring effectiveness and cost control
- Manages the corporate records, minutes, and operation of Board committees in cooperation with other members of the executive team for all the following business entities
- Performs ad hoc projects, duties, as assigned by the President and CEO
- Provides overall leadership and management of all corporate and commercial legal matters
- Negotiates and reviews all business entity agreements
- Manages the drafting, review and implementation of complex legal contracts and statements of work for all business entities
- Prepares and submits for litigation, complaints, responses, motions, interrogatories, depositions, discoveries, subpoenas, and other related legal matters as required
- Manages & Resolves external disputes and litigation as they pertain to all business entities
- Manages and resolves all claims (general commercial liability, products and premises liability, errors and omissions, automobile liability, workers compensation, and property claims) relating to all business entities
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of attorney experience, including a minimum 2-3 years of in-house experience as an attorney within the legal department of a similar-sized or larger corporation
- Expertise in cost-effective complex litigation management and a track record of consistent excellent outcomes.
- Experience and ability to negotiate significant commercial transactions and agreements (settlement agreements, contracts, separation agreements, etc.)
- Demonstrated good judgment and thorough experience serving as an advisor to internal clients and senior management either directly or through client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to think in a rigorous, strategic manner as a business person
- Experience with Board and committee operations, corporate secretary function and oversight of organizational documents, corporate minute books, policies and Board policies preferred
- Experience working with an organization operating in multiple US states
- Private equity and VC experience preferred

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Method development; partner with VP of Operations for additional R&D activities
- Optimize methods as needed to improve workflow, cost, and/or quality
- Lead efforts in validation of analytical methods for high throughput testing
- Provide scientific insight as needed to assist VP of Operations with decisions affecting lab and scientific methods
- Partner with Executive team to adjust lab direction if needed
- Write, edit, and publish scientific journals and white papers
- Perform data review and data analysis utilizing validated analytical methods as needed
- Demonstrate proficiency in software from major vendors like Agilent, Shimadzu and Sciex and serve as subject matter expert on instrument software
- Prioritize and perform Non-Standard Customer Requests
- Assist in training programs relating to analytical instrumentation and data analysis
- Serve as a mentor for Lab Techs, Sr. Lab Techs, and Specialists
- Partner with QC in maintaining SOPs and documentation required for compliance as needed
- Partner with QC in maintaining the laboratory for ISO/NELAC accreditation standards and future audits
- Communicate with Sales to address customer scientific concerns and questions
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize projects efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized, and efficient laboratory work environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- PhD degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Master’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university with at least 2 years work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university with at least 4 years work experience.
- Candidate must be familiar with analytical instrumentation: LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS,GC-FID, ICP-MS, and PCR. Candidates with LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS experience will be given preference.
- At least 2 year of experience in a high throughput production laboratory environment is preferred.
- Some knowledge of microbiology and sterile technique is beneficial.

The Relay Driver (Part Time, Nights) is responsible for driving/transporting samples of cannabis products that will be processed for mandatory state compliance testing. This is a Part Time position that will mostly be driving during the night.

- Exceptional wet laboratory technique and ability to perform documentation for ISO/NELAC standards.
- Candidate must have some familiarity with the following instrumentation: LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-FID, ICP-MS, and PCR. Candidates with LC-MS/MS will be given preference.
- Some knowledge of microbiology and sterile technique is beneficial.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

The Analytical Scientist will be responsible for method validation, method transfers, data review, calibrations and QC for state mandated compliance testing of cannabis products. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry instrumentation and software (LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, GC-FID, ICP-MS, and PCR). Analytical methods utilized in the lab are already established and regularly validated, however, experience with method development, optimization and validation is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Validation of analytical methods for high throughput testing.
- Assist Laboratory Director in method development and additional R&D activities.
- Perform calibrations and routine maintenance of analytical instrumentation as needed.
- Perform data review and data analysis utilizing validated analytical methods.
- Demonstrate proficiency in software from major vendors like Agilent, Shimadzu and Sciex.
- Assist in training programs relating to analytical instrumentation and data analysis.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize projects efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized, and efficient laboratory work environment.
- Assist in maintaining SOPs and documentation required for compliance as needed
- Assist in maintaining the laboratory for ISO/NELAC accreditation standards and future audits.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- PhD degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university is preferred OR Master's degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university with at least 2 years work experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university with at least 4 years work experience.
- Candidate must be familiar with analytical instrumentation: LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS,GC-FID, ICP-MS, and PCR. Candidates with LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS experience will be given preference.
- At least 2 year of experience in a high throughput production laboratory environment is preferred.
- Some knowledge of microbiology and sterile technique is beneficial.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities
- Create optimal batches of samples to increase efficiency of instrument run time.
- Perform wet chemistry techniques for sample preparation on batches.
- Ensure that correct Quality Control samples are added to sample prep batches.
- Create and load analytical batches on the instrument.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly maintenance of team area and equipment being used.
- Maintain a safe, clean, stocked, well-organized, and efficient laboratory work environment.
- Remain up-to-date on all SOPs and maintain documentation required for compliance.
- Assist in maintaining the laboratory for ISO/NELAC accreditation standards and future audits.
- Work on projects assigned by lab management and work in collaboration with other technicians.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's Degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university.
- Experience working in a high throughput production laboratory, preferred.
- Exceptional wet laboratory technique and ability to perform documentation for ISO/NELAC standards.
- Candidates with LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, GC-FID, HPLC, or ICP-MS instrumentation and software experience will be given preference.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to work a Tuesday - Saturday shift.
