Job Description:
The Senior Processing Manager is responsible for managing, operating, and reporting on, a state-of-the-art, compliant, C1D1 and C1D2 volatile and non-volatile extraction/processing facility. Primary Responsibilities of this Position
- Oversees facility operations and personnel management.
- Oversees staff adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Develops and directs the implementation of operational plans, projects, programs and systems.
- Develop operational schedules outlining key deadlines for equipment installations, inspections, training, hiring and onboarding and capital investments.
- Oversees start-up activities during initial phase of operations.
- Oversees the facility production schedule, ensuring adequate production of medical marijuana as dictated by the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) regulations, patient demand and facility optimization.
- Develop, implement and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state rules and regulations; remain aware of any applicable legislative and regulatory changes or updates to ensure facility compliance.
- Advise managers and the CEO of any key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions related to operations.
- Participate in strategic planning, resource allocation and operational execution.
- Brand Ambassador for the business to include the creation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the Companyâs product lines.
- Conducts product demonstrations.
- Oversees new product development and new product manufacturing techniques.
- Educates customers and patients about the details of the Brand product line.
- Build business relationships and establish account with vendors, suppliers and other licensees.
Working Conditions or Environment
- The position will be required to function in a manufacturing facility and warehouse environment. The individual will be exposed to the following conditions:
- Loud noise
- Machinery with moving parts
- Variable temperatures on occasion
- Will work in a laboratory environment with exposure to various production chemicals
- Exposure to oxygen deficient atmosphere
- Essential Functions of the Position
- Must be able to stand and move for 2-3 hours at a time
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Extensive use of office equipment, computers and telephone
- Requires a normal range of hearing and manual dexterity to operate manufacturing equipment
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to verbally communicate with employees, customers and patients
- May occasionally be required to operate large machinery of various types
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
Qualifications for the Position
- Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Engineering or other relevant field or equivalent experience
- Must pass FBI/BCI background check on a continual basis
- 6+ years of experience managing a licensed medical marijuana facility
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program regulations
- Knowledge of Best Management Practices (BMP), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP),Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Handling Practices (GHP), OSHA regulations and other food safety protocols
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of strategic planning and financial forecasting
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driverâs license
Additional Preferred Skills
- Masterâs Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Engineering or other relevant field
- Knowledge of Six Sigma Lean Operations
- 10+ years of experience managing a licensed medical marijuana facility

The ideal candidate is a natural leader, proven manager, has ideally been a trim manager or cultivator in the past, and has a deep love for and knowledge of the plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate a trim crew of 30-50 trimmers
- Manage the receiving of new material from clients
- Optimize moisture content of product before it is trimmed
- Manage the process of weighing material throughout the day
- Train, mentor and guide trimmers to optimize their individual performance
- Monitoring trimming ratios throughout the day for each individual trimmer.
- Maintaining record keeping and daily analytics
- Developing and managing employee schedules
- Interaction with HR: hiring, training, performance management and firing.
- Leading, motivating and coaching high performance from the trimming team
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a team lead in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Natural leadership skills and the proven ability to build and motivate a team
- Demonstrable knowledge of the cannabis plant (cultivation experience highly desired)
- Must have an understanding of how to properly manicure cannabis flower
- Must have the ability to identify or distinguish strains by sight
- Must be able to detect cannabis imperfections such as mold, mites, and mildew, and light-burn.
- High degrees of attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a sometimes physically demanding environment for 10-12 hour shifts
This is an hourly position paying $15-20/hour depending on skills and experience, and reports to the General Manager of the facility. Trimco is a rapidly growing company and career growth prospects are available for high performing candidates.

Inventory manager responsibilities include but are not limited to; managing multiple products in different stages of lifecycle, from production batch to individually packaged products and keeping detailed records of each. Weighing and organizing products for testing, ordering and maintaining packaging material stock, and label printing. Organizing all materials and product to go out for co-packing each week and managing weekly inventory counts.
Attention to detail and stability is very important for this position. Mistakes are part of life, and they are very costly if repeated in our business. Computer skills required include email, Word, using templates to create labels, and intermediate Excel skills; including the ability to create and maintain inventory reports using formulas and functions such as vlookups, sumif statements, and converting raw data into pivot tables. Ability to learn new computer systems is a must and experience using Metrc is a bonus. Must be self starter and task oriented.
Must have an approved and active marijuana worker permit or must have taken the marijuana worker permit test- and- submitted marijuana worker permit application in the NIC/OLCC system prior to start date. If you do not have your worker permit, please be sure to have a copy your certificate showing you have passed the exam prior to starting.
