Looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented person to help manage the day to day operations of a small organic cannabis farm in Omak, Washington. Big Tree Grading, the first cannabis and hemp grading services company in the United States, is looking for a customer centric and driven Cannabis and Hemp Contracted Sourcing Rep to support our Sourcing & Grading team.
In this role, you will work remote and independently to build a network of relationships in the Washington i502 community. You will be responsible for sourcing, verifying, and grading cannabis across many accounts, which includes driving the state visiting multiple suppliers daily, physically inspecting and grading cannabis and hemp materials, then inputting and uploading detailed product information into our inventory platform.
Compensation is a commission structure, based on the amount of product sourced and graded per month. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, self-starter that loves the industry and wants to get after it! Customer Service or Sales experience is preferred. You won’t be selling a product, but you WILL be selling yourself. Must be extremely comfortable picking up the phone and making first contact with potential clients. This is a role that has unlimited upside. The more product you source and grade, the more money you make!

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Sourcing Operations to develop and execute against a territory plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust supplier and inventory pipeline
- Plan and develop visitation schedules using our CRM platform
- Qualify prospects via the phone, email, and webinar meetings
- Grade and standardize cannabis and hemp products each month at volume
- Road warrior traveling the state visiting multiple production and processing facilities each day according to a weekly priority list
- Deliver exceptional customer service, from first contact through the grading process
- Implement precise grading protocols in an efficient manner while putting customers at ease during the process
- Fill out and complete paperwork during and after each supplier visit
- Estimate and manage your time and logistics efficiently; set your schedule and arrive on time, consistently
- Import and/or create inventory records according to our inventory system
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently. Investigate problems, develop solutions, prepare reports, and make recommendations to management
- Frequent travel within your territory
- Have and maintain reliable transportation
Qualifications:
We are looking for a team player who is driven, proactive, and passionate about the space, our business and the opportunity, and who are effective problem solvers able to execute with little supervision. The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive cannabis knowledge, and be very familiar with cannabis and hemp throughout the entire life cycle of the plant (clone, veg., flowering, flush, harvest, cure)
- Be able to identify and verify quality standards across all material types including: A flower, B flower, trim, and all forms of concentrates
- Have an in-depth knowledge of cannabis processing and extraction, while also understanding how i502 works
- Knowledge about all thing’s cannabis
- A sense of customer obsession
- Know the difference between light burn, nutrient deficiencies, and bleaching
- The ability to identify seeds, bugs, as well as molds and mildews when inspecting product

- A consultative, solution-based communication methodology
- Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
- The ability to pick up new things and learn quickly
- Experience with online software and data entry preferred
- Previous CRM or SRM experience considered a plus

- Sales and account management experience considered a plus
- Organized individual, who is able to follow structure, and documentation

Processing Manager: Seeking a self motivated individual who’s available right away. Must be 21 years if age or older. Responsibilities include: Complicated traceability software. Need someone with computer skills and multitasking abilities. Printing and data entry is a large portion of this job. There are a lot of moving pieces and we plan to train someone for the better part of a month. Attention to detail a must. Looking for someone with the ability to command a team while being a team player. We would love someone with prior cannabis experience but management experience with the willingness to learn will do. There is no cannabis consumption tolerated while working and using cannabis is not a requirement for this job by any means.
