Our General Manager will…
have a proven track record of successfully managing large cannabis operations. You will enjoy building, developing, motivating and leading a large team and maximizing their potential to achieve operational excellence and exceptional revenue and profits. S/he will independently run her/his operation and have full P&L responsibilities while continuously looking for operational improvement, drawing on data-driven insights to optimize results, and collaborating with senior management as the company scales. HIRING NOW - CANNABIS INVENTORY MANAGER
Our Cannabis Inventory Managers work closely with our General Managers and Production team to ensure that all material for a site is properly received, inspected, pre-processed and shipped (what we refer to as RIPPS). The Cannabis Inventory Manager will collaborate heavily with our Production Manager who verifies that the site's production schedule is well planned, operating efficiently, and fully compliant. This person has a deep level of understanding of the cannabis plant and will use their knowledge and experience to optimize our processing efforts in our facility.

Manage, train and motivate a team of inventory (RIPPS) specialists.
- Coordinate the RIPPS team to efficiently conduct all RIPPS duties.
- Set and maintain a high standard of performance for all RIPPS duties.
- Conduct training programs where necessary to increase the RIPPS teams' skills
Ensure all incoming material is correctly received when it arrives on site.
- Coordinate the physical receiving/unloading of material when it arrives on site.
- Correctly weight all incoming material and enter those weights into the RIPPS log.
- Compare the weights with the incoming manifests and check for discrepancies.
- Work with the Production Manager and/or General Manager of the site to address any issues.
Ensure all incoming material is correctly inspected.
- Evaluate the quality of incoming material, eg by grading it and testing moisture content.
- Determine the difficulty of trimming and any risks to the production schedule.
- Determine all necessary pre-processing steps before trimming can be conducted.
- Report your analysis to the Production Manager and General Manager.
Ensure all pre-processing activities meet all of standards for quality and timeliness.
- Manage a team of buckers to correctly buck un-bucked material.
- Oversee all pre-processing activity using mechanized equipment.
- Ensure material is correctly re- or dehumidified to meet optimal trimming specs.

Ensure an uninterrupted flow of material for trimming as per the production plan.
Ensure finished product is correctly shipped off site.
- Ensure all outward flowing product is correctly weighed and accounted for.
- Ensure all compliance activities are completed and manifests are correct.

- Oversee and coordinate a trim crew of 30-50 trimmers.

- Ensure all trimming activity meets company standards and client specifications.
- Provide quality control and oversight of trimmer quality.
- Monitoring trimming ratios throughout the day for each individual trimmer.

have a proven track record of successfully managing large cannabis operations. S/he will independently run her/his operation and have full P&L responsibilities while continuously looking for operational improvement, drawing on data-driven insights to optimize results, and collaborating with senior management as the company scales. Key Responsibilities of the position…
Assume full P&L responsibilities for a Trimco facility
- Implement data-driven tools to monitor KPI's and support data-driven decision making
- Maximize top-line revenue growth to the greatest extent possible
- Develop ways to minimize cost and maximize profit
Lead the site through continuous operational improvement
- Actively develop ways to increase the operational capacity and profitability of the site
- Lead the team through a progressive program of change towards operational goals
- Determine blockages to growth and solve them
- Develop ways to increase efficiency, reduce error and maximize the quality of work
Build, motivate, train and manage the team of trimmers and managers
- Continuously enhance the quality of the team through recruitment and training
- Perform all performance management functions, including reviews/promotions/terminating
- Maintain the work schedule for all employees
- Ensure the team has all necessary supplies and resources for efficient operation
- Maintain adherence to Trimco SOP's and standards at all times

Ensure all necessary training systems are in place and the team is fully trained
Act as liaison with critical stakeholders including JV partners, clients and senior management
- Prepare regular management reports for senior management
- Interact with all clients who are processing material at the site
- Develop strong working relationships with JV partners
Actively contribute to operational efficiency across the network of sites
- Capture innovations and new knowledge and share them across the network
- Embrace best practices developed at other sites and implement them
Qualifications are…
- Minimum of 7 years operations management experience
- Previous leadership experience including hiring, coaching and mentoring
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry
- An inherent drive to lead, motivate, remove barriers and get-it-done
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Effective communication skills

Job responsibilities:
- Design and implement multi-site accounting and compliance systems across the company.
- Timely month-end close including P&L, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
- Develop budgets and track actuals across multiple sites.
- Build and update financial models and forecasts.
- Manage financial controls, including daily cash management, payroll etc.
- Tightly control AP/AR to protect the cash position of the company as it scales.
- Develop and manage Capex budgets for new site launches.
- Design and monitor financial KPI’s across the company.
- Ensure all bank accounts are in compliance with cannabis banking requirement and maintain banking relationships
- Manage all tax obligations, including city and state cannabis taxes
- Manage compliance with the California cannabis track and trace system
- Support debt and equity capital raising activities
- Maintain an efficient system of policies that adequately control all financial management activities
Education, Qualifications, and Certifications
- Degree in accounting
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a financial management role
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry (highly desirable)
- Experience in companies with 100-1,000 employees, with operations across multiple sites
- Experience in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven ability to design and implement financial management systems
- Proficiency with leading accounting packages (QuickBooks or others)
- Master-level financial modeling and budgeting skills in Excel
- Proven ability to self-manage and deliver projects with excellence.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Desire to build and manage a growing team

Your experience will encompass leading teams larger than 20 people, with full P&L responsibilities. You will be a proven leader with the ability to independently run your operation, maximize the potential of your people, draw on data-driven insights to optimize results, and collaborate with senior management as the company scales. You will also have a deep love for cannabis, with broad knowledge of the industry.
Job Responsibilities
Overall, you will perform the senior leadership role of a 50-100 person cannabis processing facility, with full operational and financial accountability.
People Management:
- Lead the HR function for your site: hiring, training, performance management and firing
- Build, train and mentor a team of talented trimming managers.
- Run trimming crews of 50-100 trimmers, potentially across a 24/7 shift cycle.
- Provide daily hands-on management, including personnel schedules and shift structures.
- Build a healthy culture that matches the Trimco company vision, so we can have a meaningful impact on the community we operate in.
Operational:
- Take full responsibility for the operational performance of the facility.
- Manage the operations to maximize its operational and financial KPI’s
- Initiate performance improvement programs to improve capacity, reduce error, increase work quality, remove inefficiencies, and drive down costs.
- Coordinate all logistics in and out of the site
- Ensure all product is optimally cared for while in your custody
Financial and Compliance:
- Assume full P&L responsibilities for the operation.
- Ensure the operation is fully compliant with all relevant cannabis laws and regulations.
Corporate:
- Track KPI’s and prepare monthly management reports for the COO and CEO.
- Participate in innovation initiatives across the company
- Take an active role in executing the long-term company vision.
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar senior leadership position, most likely as GM.
- Leadership and operational experience gained in an industrial, manufacturing, food service or cannabis cultivation environment.
- Proven ability to maximize the performance of your team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Proven ability to manage a data-driven organization.
- Must have demonstrable knowledge of the cannabis plant. Cultivation experience highly desired, as is the ability to distinguish strains by sight and identify mold, mites, mildew, and light-burn.
- Must have an understanding of how to properly manicure cannabis flower
- Ability to identify or distinguish strains by sight, and ability to detect cannabis imperfections such as mold, mites, mildew, and light-burn, are highly recommended.

- Monitoring trimming ratios throughout the day for each individual trimmer.
- Maintaining record keeping and daily analytics
- Developing and managing employee schedules
