You're a great candidate, if:

• You’re a current (or previous) Michigan METRC processing facility lab manager with 2+ years' experience in that role who is eligible to work in a METRC facility.
• You have several years of experience developing infused and vape product formulations (distillate, wax, shatter, diamonds, sauce, and crumble) with a demonstrated track record of customer success.
• You have significant experience operating, maintaining and overseeing infusion and basic processing equipment (Ex: Distillate and cartridge filling). This includes a dedication to maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace while meeting all quality control standards to ensure all products remain compliant with state regulations.
• You have significant experience in successfully training, overseeing, and managing a team of employees who can operate a processing facility on a day-to-day basis.
• You expect a respectful, inclusive, and understanding work environment where everyone can be their best selves - for both you and your colleagues. Our team does not tolerate discrimination or disrespect.
• You recognize and advocate for the importance of operating a facility that is compliant with all cannabis regulations, safety rules, hazardous material and environmental rules, and internal company processes and procedures.
• You (might) have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field. We value skills and experience over formal educational achievements and so a candidate with the appropriate experience with no degree will not be viewed as a worse candidate.
• You possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to work successfully both with a team and independently, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• In rare cases where it’s necessary, you’re able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. You’re also able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours and can occasionally help move heavy equipment. When requested, you’re willing to work longer than normal shifts ( >8 hours) or work weeks ( >45 hours/week) to accomplish key goals (assuming requests are reasonable).
• You maintain high personal hygiene standards.
• You’re proficient with computers and METRC. A bonus if you’re highly competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• You’re willing to work in a dynamic environment and understand your role and responsibilities may change depending on the needs of the team.
• You possess a positive, problem-solving attitude.

What you get:

• Annual salary of $65,000 - $72,000 + performance bonus

• 6-12 Month Key Deliverables:

These are a few of the things you will have completed by the end of your first 6-12 months on our team:

• Development of new product formulations for use in mass production
• Ongoing high-volume production of vape cartridges (and other products)
• Compliant and organized processing of orders through the facility
• Adequately onboarded and trained processing facility employees that operate autonomously and successfully in their respective roles
• Development of “Processing Facility Standard Operating Procedures” (SOPs) documentation for use in training new employees, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, and driving repeatable operations.
