Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all tasks related to maintaining inventory levels and managing all incoming and outgoing orders. The Warehouse Supervisor will maintain PAR levels on all hard goods and consumables while also overseeing all outgoing orders of cannabis products. All shipping and receiving will be managed by the Warehouse Supervisor as well as all training of Warehouse Associates. This position will report directly to the Inventory Supervisor.

Communication Strategy
- Communicate and provide recommendations with Inventory Manager using inventory tracking system to process any ordering needs of hard goods, consumables, and packaged material
- Work with Inventory Manager on all new and existing product delivery forecasting
- Communicate and resolve with accounting any unaffiliated order discrepancies
- Communicate with Lead Driver to organize and implement randomized delivery routes - ensuring that the routes are established and chosen for each manifest accordingly
- Relay details to Inventory Manager on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Resolve and communicate any discrepancies regarding an ongoing delivery
Inventory Management Strategy
- Ensure that all materials are in their appropriate locations in Shipping and Receiving through a tracking and labeling system

- Ensure all transport agents (drivers) are maintaining inventory and transport compliance

- Perform bi-weekly binder audits to ensure all paperwork is filled accurately with no discrepancies
- Work with other department managers to obtain information on necessary new products and forecast usage rates
- Maintain compliance will all deliveries and inventory
- Responsible for all deliveries from unloading through stocking the product
- Complete weekly audits of all non-cannabis inventory
- Verify orders with the Inventory Manager
Logistics
- Consistent open communication with all affiliated and unaffiliated location’s inventory specialist in case any discrepancies need to be resolved in a ongoing delivery
- Maintain direct contact with third party delivery drivers incoming and outgoing and for any cancellations or changes in ETA
- Ensure ordered products and quantities are accurate in comparison to the request
- Works with the Inventory Manager to fulfill last minute requests
- Assists the Inventory Manager with all outgoing cannabis product transfers
- Verify daily checklist for accuracy regarding van preparation or delivery completion

Role Summary
This is a newly created position as Tamalpais Co-Packing launches proprietary cannabis-infused products and partners with regional and national manufacturing and distribution brands. The company is preparing for future growth at an exciting time for this industry and is building a team that can grow, learn, and thrive as the challenges and opportunities arise.
The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring orders and invoices are processed timely and accurately, while following the standards and procedures set by the Operations Manager and providing excellent customer service.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Tracking product through seed to sale compliance system (METRC)
- Pulling, prepping, and double checking orders
- Processing shipments
- Inventory reconciliation
- Supporting overall warehouse maintenance by restocking products and receiving raw materials
- Maintains an organized, clean, and safe working environment
- Works with other departments to achieve daily fulfillment goals
- General Facility maintenance
Required Skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Prepare and schedule non-cannabis outbound shipments using FedEx, UPS, and/or other shipping services. If the outbound shipment is packaging materials, the Supply Procurement Manager should be involved.
- Examine and receive shipments, reject damaged items, and update inventory to reflect changes.
- Send packing slips, rejections, and any discrepancies in receiving shipments to the Supply Procurement Manager for confirmation.
- Communicate with department managers and ensure they are supplied with the needed packaging and labels throughout each day.
- Communicate with department managers to see what products are going to be made and packaged in the upcoming weeks to make sure there are enough supplies. Communicate this information with the Supply Procurement Manager.
- Communicate regularly with the Supply Procurement Manager to ensure supplies do not run out and the needs of the facility for packaging and labeling are met.
- Complete a weekly inventory or as requested by the Supply Procurement Manager.
- If there are separate locations of warehouse storage, ensure stock is rotated to the facility warehouse storage as needed.
- Create sample packaging bundles for the marketing and sales team to send to dispensaries as requested.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is being maintained.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment in the warehouse storage areas is being operated efficiently and safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Previous supervisory experience in a regulated field that adheres to health and safety policies and procedures required.
- Basic math and reasoning skills required.
- Fork truck and electric pallet jack certification required.
- Must be able to identify product varieties by size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Must be able to communicate via email and work with basic computer programs like Office and inventory tracking systems.
- Must be adaptable to a varying work schedule.
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
- Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

Reports to General Manager focusing on inventory compliance, track and trace, and METRC-related issues.
Reports all cannabis activity in the METRC Track & Trace system that pertains to the intake, processing, packaging, labeling, and waste of cannabis and cannabis products.
Tracking and tracing all cannabis inventory sales using any federal, state, county or city required track and trace systems, including but not limited to, the state-required track and trace system (METRC), and/or any internal tracking systems used by the company.
Perform weekly and bi-weekly audits to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and satisfies physical representation per state rules and regulations
Works with sales and distribution to ensure METRC transfers are seamless within the customer order fulfillment process.
Assists with routine audits of inventory quantities and compares the results with the state METRC Track & Trace system; investigates and corrects any discrepancies to reconcile.
Develops internal SOP’s related to systems administration, assigning and transfer of tags, and auditing processes.
Acts as METRC Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides guidance and training to all internal counterparts.
Ensure department remains compliant as per both government and internal company track and trace requirements, this includes but is not limited to, ensuring each department accurately records data that must be reported to track and trace systems, properly labels cannabis during all stages of the product life cycle, and properly prepares for transfers of product between licenses.
Train and ensure full regulatory track and trace compliance for any and all employees that log and/or label cannabis.
Maintains an inventory of tags, labels, packaging and other supplies necessary for Track & Trace.
Accurately and promptly ensure all regulatory required information is reported to the appropriate government entities as defined by each entity’s track and trace regulations.
Manages the initial training, ongoing work direction, and cross-training and daily delegation of tasks of the fulfillment and labeling team.
Participates regarding hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees.
Ensures the department is appropriately staffed; Approves employee time-off request
Evaluates to improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, safety, efficiency, and output.
