The IPM Technician is primarily responsible for regularly monitoring plants throughout all growth cycles to identify pest risks, mix necessary agents, and apply/spray plants with applicable products as needed. Job Summary:
Cultivators are primarily responsible for maintaining the health of the plants in the section to which they are assigned and actively identifying and resolving any issues. They will monitor plant development and oversee the various processes in their section, such as irrigation, transplanting, pruning, de-leafing, topping, trellising, scouting/IPM, etc. Furthermore, they will ensure that all staff working in their section follow SOP guidelines and will assist in training staff as necessary. Cultivators are also responsible for monitoring the environment and environmental controls in their section and working with the Director of Cultivation to maintain an excellent growing environment. They will also be responsible for assisting the Director of Cultivation during the recruitment, hiring, and training process of cultivation personnel.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Assist the Director of Cultivation in planning and scheduling the work required in your section and ensure that it is completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor environmental controls. Report any malfunctioning environmental control equipment (fans, lights, heaters, etc.) to the Director of Cultivation.
- IPM- scouting, beneficial insect releases, plan sprays.
- Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitation of cultivation space and machinery; compliant disposal of waste where applicable.
- Document daily tasks in an organized manner and report data where necessary.
- Manage 5+ employees.
- Maintain open communication with the Director of Cultivation and other co-workers.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Required 21+ and above years of age.
- Preferred Bachelor's in Horticulture preferred, but not required.

Position Summary:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution facility, and packaging and inventory departments, establishing and ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance by implementing standards, protocols and best practices and providing effective leadership and communication to team members.
Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with General Manager and Senior Management to set organizational priorities, identify revenue targets and execute business strategies.
- Serve as primary point of contact for facilitating completion of project management, communication with State and County regulators, and subcontractors.

- Implement standardized reporting for production metrics, inventory and supplies.

Job Summary
As a top-level cultivator, your primary role in the company is to oversee all levels of cultivation. This includes, but is not limited to, irrigation, propagation, transplant, vegetative and flowering stages, IPM, harvest, and dying/curing of the product. In doing so, it is expected that incumbent always strives to produce quality product and high yields. It is also expected that you will work with the head cultivator to innovate and improve our cultivation system.
Key Responsibilities
Management – Work alongside Head Cultivation Manager and Facilities manager to manage crew leads (Harvest, Transplant, Irrigation, etc.) Ensure all departments are upholding the standards and quality we have come to expect at Monterey Botanicals LLC. Schedule work ahead of time to minimize downtime and keep crews working.
Irrigation- Ensure that flowering and vegetative plants are adequately watered and fed based on our fertility program. Work with the irrigation department manager to direct employees to irrigate, as necessary. Run irrigation system manually, with a timer, or instruct another cultivator/ irrigator to do so.
Expectations
· Start irrigation in flower houses as early as is reasonably possible
· Work with Head Cultivation Manager and Facilities Manager to manage crew leads as efficiently as possible
· Ensure that all crews are upholding expected quality standards
· Innovate new cultivation techniques to improve yield and quality of product
· Maintain a healthy rapport with co-workers

Reports to General Manager focusing on inventory compliance, track and trace, and METRC-related issues.
Reports all cannabis activity in the METRC Track & Trace system that pertains to the intake, processing, packaging, labeling, and waste of cannabis and cannabis products.
Tracking and tracing all cannabis inventory sales using any federal, state, county or city required track and trace systems, including but not limited to, the state-required track and trace system (METRC), and/or any internal tracking systems used by the company.
Perform weekly and bi-weekly audits to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and satisfies physical representation per state rules and regulations
Works with sales and distribution to ensure METRC transfers are seamless within the customer order fulfillment process.
Assists with routine audits of inventory quantities and compares the results with the state METRC Track & Trace system; investigates and corrects any discrepancies to reconcile.
Develops internal SOP’s related to systems administration, assigning and transfer of tags, and auditing processes.
Acts as METRC Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides guidance and training to all internal counterparts.
Ensure department remains compliant as per both government and internal company track and trace requirements, this includes but is not limited to, ensuring each department accurately records data that must be reported to track and trace systems, properly labels cannabis during all stages of the product life cycle, and properly prepares for transfers of product between licenses.
Train and ensure full regulatory track and trace compliance for any and all employees that log and/or label cannabis.
Maintains an inventory of tags, labels, packaging and other supplies necessary for Track & Trace.
Accurately and promptly ensure all regulatory required information is reported to the appropriate government entities as defined by each entity’s track and trace regulations.
Manages the initial training, ongoing work direction, and cross-training and daily delegation of tasks of the fulfillment and labeling team.
