Reports to Operations Manager
Evergreen Herbal is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Associate to assist in our rapid growth. The successful candidate will support daily operations of our company in processing Sales Orders, keeping track of inventory transactions, purchasing of materials, assisting in maintaining production records, and of course providing exceptional customer service to all our internal and external customers. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Manage Sales Orders processing from submission cut-off time (5:00 each business day) through delivery to the retail stores (usually 48 hours later). This includes entry into Mr Kraken (our system of record), uploading information to the Washington State tracking system (CCRS), printing manifests & case labels.
- Assist in the inventory review and recommendation for purchasing of raw/packaging materials and assist in creating the purchase orders to fulfill these requests.
- Ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
- Assist, with guidance from the Operations Manager, Operational KPI’s and performance metrics.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Perform occasional warehouse, production and other duties, as assigned.
- Understand and follow company internal and external policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning & logistics

Supply Chain Associate Responsibilities:
- Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
- Executes best practices and measures performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate lab testing of products
- Arrange, track, and review AR, AP
- Directs and coordinates national supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.

We’re looking for our newest Supply Chain Associate who is eager and excited to join our growing Operations team. They will support the Supply Chain group in conversion of raw plant material into packaged, compliant, sell-able products across California. This position will help execute and create processes to streamline the company’s operational efforts. The Supply Chain Associate is focused on keeping internal departments informed and well-coordinated and assisting in preserving and strengthening relationships with vendors and testing-facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage packaging flow of our Bulk Flower; Communicate with cult team to ensure we have accurate data on available flower and flower coming down the pipeline.
- Manage prioritization/allocation of bulk flower for movement in partnership with Director of Supply Chain.
- Know cost/pricing of bulk flower for POR. – Manage and ensure compliance with all cultivation licensor.
- Manage and Oversee Remediation Process of Failed Flower; Act quickly on failed batches following company standards and SOPs, along with regulations provided by the CDPH/BCC. –Conduct regular follow-ups with 3P manufacturer to check the status of remediation plans and drive movement of product.
- Communicate and coordinate across internal departments.
- Ensure product quality and standards are upheld at our external vendors; approve 3P product packaging and COA labels based on CDPH/BCC regulations; work with CCD Intake/Receiving team to schedule delivery; Sample out/QC test product as new 3P product is received into CCD to Leadership. Escalate any quality issues expediently.
- Find and improve our existing processes.
- Surface data and information for the team to make informed decisions about inventory to improve overall quality.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Excellent computer and mathematics skills, data analysis; experience working in Microsoft Excel required.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.
- Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners.
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
- Comfortable learning new technologies.
- Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to provide well thought out recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
