Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Associate / Courier is the warehouse's first high-volume quality control checkout. The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for: prepackaging bulk products and joint production that ensures standardized and accurate inventory across all locations of the organization; maintaining adequate prepackaged flower and preroll levels ready for distribution and sale; applying prepackaging labels to ensure compliant business operations. SCOPE
- Adheres to the company mission statement and core values and maintains high ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions
- Preserves product quality throughout Processing Facility, able to monitor less ideal product and take appropriate action to correct quality issues
- Applies prepackaging labels on all compliant containers with products inside
- Ensures that prepackaged flower and/or prerolls are within the acceptable range of variance
- Responsible for a clean and tidy workplace by sweeping, mopping and sanitizing the work area
- Understands other employees may be present during hours of operation, maintains a courteous and professional work environment, and interact
- Communicates necessary material stock levels to Supply Chain Manager for reordering
- Reference to Cultivation SOPs, especially pertaining to contamination prevention
- Operate a motor vehicle while adhering to all local, state, and federal transportation laws
- Drives motor vehicle for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites
- Work in various inside and outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, job hazards, and atmospheric conditions
- Verify and quality check product before it leaves on delivery
- Perform minor maintenance of the delivery vehicle ( e.g., checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle
- May not have home grow or any interaction with outside grow facility
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred
Training
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policies and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Total Management Inc.
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements
- Previous marijuana industry experience in a production facility (grow, trim, and/or prepackage) is preferred, with priority given to candidates with experience in CO-licensed facilities.
- Metrc experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, cooperative nature, and self-motivated
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
Work Requirements
- Must be able to work in cultivation facilities with moderate to loud noise levels and changing working conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license
- May require the use of safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Must be able to acquire MED Support Badge before beginning employment
- Must be able to individually lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for extended periods of time
