The Role:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all aspects of the production facility (people, products, processes, facility, regulatory)
- Primary liaison with regional and corporate resources. Marshalls the appropriate resources and then drives the initiatives for sustained success.
- Develops and manages the site fixed and variable cost budgets. Builds the right metrics, builds a high-performance team and tracks team performance.
- Leads site management team to develop and maintain direct cost metrics for internal as well as co-packed products. Cultivates positive co-packer relationships and actively assists in finalizing co-packer contract, products and expectations.
- Schedules all production (including MRP) and is responsible for shipping out finished goods.

- Proactively trains, coaches and documents progress of site personnel to ensure compliance with Quality Management System, safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Manage people processes and controls; identify gaps and inefficiencies, provide standardization and improvement recommendations which will impact the full team member lifecycle from hire to retire.

- Contribute to the development of communications and training programs for HR operations.
- Implement documentation to include SOPs, Job Aids, and communications material to educate and train team members and managers.
- Function as content owner and subject matter expert for HR Operations ensuring we have robust self-service content for managers and team members.
- Maintain knowledge of current, local employment laws, best practices relative to HR Operations.
- Lead a team of at least 5 HR Operations Specialists.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or applicable experience. Minimum of 5-7 years in a HR role responsible for handling HR transactions.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HRIS experience; Kronos based system experience is ideal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Proven leadership skills and managing teams.

Summary

Main Purpose of Job
This position serves as the Deputy Director, Operations for the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC). The position assists the Executive Director in managing the internal operations of the MMCC, including personnel, policy development, budget development, and other operations related functions.
Through collaboration and coordination with the Executive Director, this position plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates the day-to-day activities and operations in the Communications, Finance, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, Policy and Government Affairs, and Administration departments. This position represents MMCC at meetings/activities of local, departmental, national/regional state health and medical cannabis organizations, and provides reports and presentations as needed. The position may also advise all levels of MMCC management regarding strategic planning and organizational development.
The incumbent must possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a management or financial field from an accredited college or university and 6 years of professional health or human services experience, including 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
A master degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of the general experience.

Business Operations Manager OR Senior Associate

The BizOps team at Weedmaps serves as strategic partners and general athletes that create operational leverage for the business. Our responsibilities reflect some of the company's and leadership's highest value needs and initiatives. We work in partnership with the business in three key areas:
- Long-term strategic planning, including defining clear, actionable company strategy
- Operationalizing Strategy, including strategy-aligned metrics and targets setting and tracking and related guidance to business owners
- Driving and accelerating growth initiatives, by evaluating and launching new products, businesses, revenue streams, functions, and high-leverage operational capabilities
We are looking for a highly driven, team-oriented, and analytical Business Operations Manager/Sr. Associate Manager to join our team. As a member of BizOps, you will play a central role in providing strategic, operational, and tactical support to leadership across Weedmaps.
The impact you'll make:
- Build cross-functional bridges and define and implement organizational and business strategies
- Contribute analysis to company and business strategy development and planning
- Translate company strategy and goals to actionable targets for businesses and their related operating units
- Partner with business owners to realize business targets, including tracking of performance and development of related data-driven recommendations
- Synthesize product, client, consumer, and market data and insights to develop forward points of view for the company and business units
- Develop and model business cases for new revenue streams or product opportunities
- Develop and incubate new opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships across functions and levels to enable resolution of critical company matters
- Help foster a sense of collaboration towards the company's most significant goals
How you operate:

Your Experience:
- Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance
- Professional work experience
- Manager: 6+ years
- Sr. Associate: 4+ years
- 2+ years at a top tier consulting firm or investment bank OR 2+ years in a SaaS or consumer tech BizOps, Strategy & Operations, Corp Strategy, Strategic Finance, or Corp Dev group

Good Tree is technology startup looking for an Operations + Customer Success Manager who will help us launch the expansion of our Oakland office. Responsibilities will be build, hire, manage team and closely consult with our patients to develop custom experiences and implementations that promote and push our brands’ business objectives in the Bay Area. It is an extremely proactive role, which will require strategic planning, internal and external advocacy, and initiative-based messaging to motivate patient and team action.
As an Operations Manager, you will become a pro at dispatching and an expert in navigating the world's most advanced fleet management platform. You will learn to manage our inventory website in order to understand trends, and the best practices for dispatching and overarching delivery success. As a leader and Success Manager at Good Tree, you should be highly passionate and motivated by client retention and growth. You will manage the overall connection of Relationship Managers and patients, and will take responsibility for the long-term relationships of all of our patients and employees. You will seek solutions to guarantee operational excellence, pay attention to detail, and identify proper opportunities to extend our products and service.
Additional Responsibilities
-Business development to increase growth, followed by staffing to support it
-Develop custom Success Plans for each customer with analytical poise in order to deliver overall satisfactory encounters
-Drive positive interactions amongst patients and partners, identify unspoken patient issues, and establish appropriate next steps to enhance success metrics
-Track productivity of Dispatchers to ensure entire team is reaching all set goals

-Input and identify new and returning patient accounts and information
-Work with team stakeholders, such as Product, Marketing, Operations, etc.
