Responsibilities
- Conduct new patient and renewal evaluations to assess their health condition, discover possible issues, review risks/benefits of medical marijuana and provide medical marijuana recommendations for those who qualify
- Ask intuitive questions to discover and understand patient symptoms. Consult on medical marijuana as an alternative treatment
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
- Review and interpret medical records (if they are provided, Utah does not require them to be approved) to determine if medical marijuana is a viable treatment option for the patients

We have been at our Salt Lake City location for 2 months now and it has been wonderful.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Be an advocate for patients seeking to use medical marijuana as part of their treatment plan.
- Evaluate patients for the medical cannabis program.
- Maintain notes and medical records in the EMR system (all electronic).
Requirements:
- PA License to practice in Utah.
- QMP (Cannabis Provider Approval) License from Utah Dept of Health (we can help you get this!)
- Ability to utilize technology, specifically the in-house EMR system (we will train!)

You will be providing healthcare to patients at Health Clinics of Utah by diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, taking a patient's medical history, writing prescriptions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, counseling patients on preventive care, and assuring access to affordable, quality health care in our clinic.
