Position Summary

The Patient Services Agent (PSA) has a very important role as the most prominent customer-facing position in the entire company. The PSA directly impacts the experience of our customers, providing them with education and top-notch customer service. More than cashiers, they must be able to educate and build relationships with our customers and take all necessary steps to enhance the experience of every customer. A successful PSA must be a friendly, professional, responsible, well-spoken individual. The role requires an enthusiastic people-person that is eager to learn and passionate about cannabis. Successful PSAs must be able to multi-task in a face-paced, high-volume, constantly changing environment while ensuring that all transactions and store relations remain compliant with all local and state regulations. The position requires constant customer interaction, problem-solving, and efficient communication in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Constant customer-facing interaction, problem-solving, and efficient communication in a highly regulated environment
  
• Directly impacts the experience and relationships with our customers by providing education, top-notch customer service, and to reach sales goals
  
• Accurately process sales through our point of sale system and the state tracking system
  
• Check medical paperwork and proper identification thoroughly and accurately
  
• Help new customers fill out and sign medical agreements provided by the state and company, ensuring all information is entered correctly and completely
  
• Resolve customer conflict with a calm and professional demeanor
  
• Answer store phones and provide knowledgeable information
  
• Perform opening duties and end-of-day side work
  
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lot, front desk, and lobby areas
  
• Manage customer flow from the reception area to the sales floor
  
• Up-sell complimentary products or promote specials
  
• Communicate with Sales Floor Lead and Manager when product is running low so that it can be restocked accordingly
  
• Handle large amounts of cash without error
  
• Check medical paperwork and proper identification thoroughly and accurately
  
• Resolve customer conflict with a calm and professional demeanor
  
• Stay up to date on and maintain 100% compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations in a highly regulated, constantly changing environment
  
• Continue education of marijuana strains, products, and the industry
  
• Work with others to create a positive environment for our patients and customers
  
• Assist in on-boarding and training of new employees

• Must be at least 21 years old
  
• All candidates must be ready, willing, and able to work a fully flexible work schedule to include days, nights and weekends to meet fluctuating business demands based on the needs of the individual department

Revolution Releaf is a leading provider of medical cannabis located in Laurel, Maryland. We are looking to expand the Revolution Releaf team with additional Patient Care Advisers / Dispensary Agents who are knowledgeable, hard-working, customer-service oriented and passionate about cannabis. The ability to interact with patients in a positive and uplifting manner is a must.

Responsibilities include:

-Greeting patients and providing first-class customer service

-Verifying personal identification and other documents to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations

-Answering questions and making recommendations about a variety of medical cannabis products and consumption methods

-Operating point-of-sale efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

-Stocking shelves and filling pre-orders

-Providing support to the Revolution Releaf team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations at all times

Required qualifications:

-Must be 21 years old

-Be eligible to obtain a MMCC dispensary agent card

-High school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred

-2 years experience in sales or customer service

-Excellent customer service skills

-Be a problem solver

-Knowledge of cannabis and medical benefits

-Willingness to continue education related to medical cannabis and the laws and regulations impacting the industry

-Basic mental math skills

-Self-starter, able to perform duties with minimal supervision

-Detail oriented

-Able to multi-task quickly and accurately while maintaining calm attitude

Requirements

The Patient Care Specialist is responsible for interfacing and consulting with clients, patients, caregivers and vendors. Overseeing all activities related to the operation of the dispensary to include patient identification and registration.
