The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and effectively utilizes audit and cycle count techniques to ensure correct quantities are present in internal systems. An important aspect of this role is maintaining accurate inventory levels.

- Create and maintain Inventory Logs to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.

About the Job:
In a highly regulated industry, this position will work closely in a start to end tracking and tracing software, managing the collection, tracking and recording of data for product from all stages of Production and Harvest. Using expert knowledge of state regulations, they will also prepare statistical report and handle information requests.
- Ensure all plant material are tracked in METRC/MJ Freeway and Leaf Logix.
- Ensure all plants and/or plant material are tagged when transitioned from one stage of production to another.
- Ensure all harvested product is tracked in METRC and Leaf Logix before transitioning in to any other stage of production.
- Ensure records are updated weekly in METRC and Leaf Logix to match all physical plant processes that occurred during the week.
- Accurate and complete monthly inventory.
- Physical Requirements of the Job: VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds, may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Long periods of screen use. Long periods of sitting.
About You:
General
- Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in horticulture, manufacturing, crop management preferred
- Cannabis experience preferred
- At least two years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production facility is desired.
- A background in IT, math, computer science or data entry is a plus.
Technological Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Experience with supply chain tracking software
- Excellent mathematical and reasoning skills
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- High-level attention to detail

Other responsibilities are but not limited to data entry, maintaining records, cycle counts and ability to understand the implications of Metrc and ERP movements.

- Responsible for incoming and outgoing product.
- Verifies Chain of Custody is completed to company and Bureau of Cannabis Control standards
- Inspects all incoming loads for accuracy, completeness and visible damage
- Staging and/or pulling orders
- Ensures the organization of raw and finished goods inventory
- Responsible for upholding compliance procedures for storage and handling of all raw goods inventory
- Responsible for performing inventory cycle counts of live plant inventory
- Maintain accurate field metric mapping and tags
- Report missing or damaged tags and replace once issued
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year in shipping, receiving, and planning
- Knowledge of company products, weights, and case /pallet counts

JOB SUMMARY
- Oversee, schedule and assign tasks to inventory team members
- Ensure proper care of all inventory for retail & cultivation
- Ensure all products are kept in their ideal state to preserve freshness and quality * Ensure all technology platforms are updated with the most accurate information * Coordinate with procurement team to ensure proper turnover of inventory to expedite the sale of expiring products * Conduct inventory audits and report any loss to General Manager
- Handle all receiving of items, returns, and exchanges with procurement and shipping teams
- Coordinate with managers for the destruction of expiring products as well as notify the procurement team
- Account for all discrepancies within manifests and delivery
- Work closely with General Manager to ensure regulations are followed and address issues within 24 hours of occurrence
- Accountable for proper disposal of cannabis waste both physically and systemically * Manage/track all levels of inventory of the outlet(s) including cannabis, merchandise, shop supplies, promotional materials and all other non-cannabis items
- Abide by all policies and procedures of the company
