This role is critical to the company’s continued growth and drive toward being the best operational company in the cannabis industry. Reporting to the Facility Manager for the facility to which he/she is assigned, the Maintenance Supervisor will work to oversee access, security, maintenance and services of the cultivation and processing facility to ensure optimum facility operation on a daily basis that provides for the work needs of the organization and its employees. In coordination with the Director of Facilities Engineering and the Facility Manager for their assigned facility, the Maintenance Supervisor plans, implements, coordinates and manages all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs within their assigned production facility.
- Manages the building's operational accounts and assists in development of operating and capital budgets both for their assigned facility as well as shared or company-wide systems, equipment or programs.
- Assists in operations and maintenance issues, troubleshooting and problem solving as required.
- Recommends and implements improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis, maintains updated/current manuals from systems manufacturers. Develops/maintains effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals.
- Coordinates maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel and technicians. Oversees all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues and must remain current with latest HVAC technology trends.
- Maintains on-going communication with facility management team and vendors; participates in facility management team meetings as required by the Facility Manager
- May assist in solicitation and acquisition of new management contracts, especially as they relate to their assigned facility. Coordinates development and maintenance of as-built drawings.
- Responds to all emergency situations quickly (fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc. and facility team concerns.
- Implements and administers inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies.
- Develops specifications and assists in solicitation and administration of maintenance/repair service contracts.
- Establishes and monitors programs to ensure compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agency and company directives as they relate to building operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Physical Requirements of the Job: LIGHT OFFICE LIFTING. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 75 pounds (up to about 120 pounds with assistance), may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for monitoring cameras at all locations, notate and investigate suspicious activity, and report any theft or mistreatment of company property to management.
This position will be based out of our corporate office in Madison Heights, MI. This position will work evening shifts 3-10:30pm after training is completed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Main responsibility will be to monitor all security cameras very closely inside all locations for suspicious activity, theft, or misuse of company property
- Communicate with Corporate Management as well as Retail Management regarding theft or misconduct
- Conduct and/or assist in investigations regarding shopper or associate concerns
- Complete any reports, forms, or requested documentation as needed
Qualifying Skills:
- Extreme attention to detail

- Knowledge of DW Spectrum Monitoring system a plus

About the Job:
The Packaging Associate will be responsible for safely and effectively preparing, filling, packaging and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils, edibles, and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications, as well as pre rolls and flower. This position will also be responsible for maintaining production and packaging equipment.
- Coordinate and manage daily lab tasks with Packaging Supervisor
- Properly set up and operate filling, edible and solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling equipment
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions and Company SOPs to sanitize production area and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of all related data in tracking software
- Prepare plant material for extraction (packing material socks) and accurately documenting related data
- Efficiently fill, package, and label products in compliance with Holistic SOPs and all applicable manufacturing procedures
- Set up, break down, and sanitize packaging area as needed and in compliance with Company SOPs
- Assist with general laboratory tasks including, but not limited to, winterization, filtering, ethanol extraction and rotary evaporation

In a highly regulated industry, this position will work closely in a start to end tracking and tracing software, managing the collection, tracking and recording of data for product from all stages of Production and Harvest. Using expert knowledge of state regulations, they will also prepare statistical report and handle information requests.

Lab Link Testing is a start-up cannabis safety and compliance testing laboratory in Madison Heights, Michigan that will provide analytical chemistry and microbiology testing services for cannabis cultivators, processors, and manufacturers as mandated by the State of Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA). We have positions available for both Senior and Junior Analytical Chemists, depending on experience. The Senior Analytical Chemist will be a supervisory role, with Junior Analytical Chemists I and II reporting to them. Essential functions:
Technical

- Preparation of various controls, test solutions, and reagents.

About the Job:
In a highly regulated industry, this position will work closely in a start to end tracking and tracing software, managing the collection, tracking and recording of data for product from all stages of Production and Harvest. Using expert knowledge of state regulations, they will also prepare statistical report and handle information requests.
- Ensure all plant material are tracked in METRC/MJ Freeway and Leaf Logix.
- Ensure all plants and/or plant material are tagged when transitioned from one stage of production to another.
- Ensure all harvested product is tracked in METRC and Leaf Logix before transitioning in to any other stage of production.
- Ensure records are updated weekly in METRC and Leaf Logix to match all physical plant processes that occurred during the week.
- Accurate and complete monthly inventory.
- Physical Requirements of the Job: VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds, may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Long periods of screen use. Long periods of sitting.
About You:
General
- Regulations require that incumbent be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials.
Education/Experience:

About the Job:
This role will support the Facility Operations Manager in the supervision and management of day-to-day grow, processing, production facility operations and staff for medical-grade cannabis. As directed, responsible for supporting, monitoring, and analyzing current systems and procedures of operations and productions and logistics to ensure effectiveness. Position may act as a liaison between other company departments.
- Assist the Facility Operations Manager with production processes, internal tracking and compliance, order process and inventory management, and enforcing product quality control standards
- Compile and submit reports as requested
- Train and supervise employees as directed
- With HR support, help recruit high-performance staff and proactively manage organizational structure
- Ensure accuracy of seed-to-sale tracking
- Ensure all operational SOP’s are followed as outlined in Holistic Industries Policies and Procedures
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of applicable state and federal cannabis laws
- Assist with setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs, in coordination with the Facility Operations Manager

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for monitoring cameras at all locations, notate and investigate suspicious activity, and report any theft or mistreatment of company property to management.
This position will be based out of our corporate office in Madison Heights, MI. This position will work evening shifts 3-10:30pm after training is completed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Main responsibility will be to monitor all security cameras very closely inside all locations for suspicious activity, theft, or misuse of company property
- Communicate with Corporate Management as well as Retail Management regarding theft or misconduct
- Conduct and/or assist in investigations regarding shopper or associate concerns
- Complete any reports, forms, or requested documentation as needed
Qualifying Skills:

About the Job:
The Facility Administrator will manage and oversee the order fulfillment process for operations, cultivation and lab processing materials needed. The position will also be responsible for tracking and follow up on all orders, as well as monitoring and updating inventory records. The Facility Administrator will provide administrative assistance to the site managers in various tasks and will act as on-site records manager.

About the Job:
The Postharvest Associate will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. The Postharvest Associate will also be responsible for equipment sanitization and sterilization as well as maintaining facilities cleanliness.
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials
- Adhere to the departmental, site and corporate safety policies.
- Assembles secondary packaging
- Follow Standard Operating procedures for debucking, trimming, grinding, drying and curing cannabis harvests in preparation for oil extraction and/or flower sales
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Precise hand trimming will be required for flower sales

About the Job:
The Packaging Associate will be responsible for safely and effectively preparing, filling, packaging and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils, edibles, and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications, as well as pre rolls and flower. This position will also be responsible for maintaining production and packaging equipment.
- Coordinate and manage daily lab tasks with Packaging Supervisor
- Properly set up and operate filling, edible and solid dose manufacturing, packaging, and labeling equipment
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions and Company SOPs to sanitize production area and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of all related data in tracking software
- Prepare plant material for extraction (packing material socks) and accurately documenting related data
- Efficiently fill, package, and label products in compliance with Holistic SOPs and all applicable manufacturing procedures
- Set up, break down, and sanitize packaging area as needed and in compliance with Company SOPs
- Assist with general laboratory tasks including, but not limited to, winterization, filtering, ethanol extraction and rotary evaporation
- Perform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records
- Support new product lines and process development as needed
- Clean and sanitize packaging and laboratory areas and equipment
- Assist in monitoring and managing all related processing equipment supplies and inventory

- Clean the Cultivation department's rooms, hallways, lobbies, corridors and other work areas throughout the facility.

Strategically and enthusiastically lead the marketing of the Curaleaf portfolio of brands in our fast-growing wholesale channel. The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for minimizing the loss of merchandise, money, and company assets. About the Job:
This role is critical to the company’s continued growth and drive toward being the best operational company in the cannabis industry. The Facility Operations Director is fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of the company’s grow & processing (GP) facilities. At the Director level, the individual will lead a facility with significant headcount (~100+), capital equipment and revenue production expectations. The Facility Director is expected to be a strategic leader with the ability to create business plans and models intended to maximize facility output and minimize overhead costs and costs of goods sold. This role will be charged with full P&L responsibility for the facility and, in certain locations, may also be responsible for managing a co-located retail “tenant” operation as well.
- Manage facility staff including scheduling, basic time off requests etc.
- Hire line managers and supervisors according to the facility’s capabilities and needs and in coordination with operations leadership
- Oversee all aspects of staffing at the assigned GP coordinating for new headcount with the Regional VP of Operations
- Interface with Sales to understand output requirements, deliver products as ordered, resolve issues with orders, and help ensure ongoing strong customer satisfaction with products produced in the assigned facility
- Manage output of facility to produce the Products and revenue as contemplated by the company’s budget and revenue plan
- Coordinate, communicate and collaborate with Legal and Compliance team members to ensure that the facility is being operated in compliance with all regulatory requirements on an ongoing basis; Work directly with state regulatory authorities and act as the key point of contact for communications from regulators regarding the assigned facility; Be the key point of contact for all inspections and audits of the facility to ensure compliance and effective facility operation
- Ensure the proper maintenance of the assigned facility by working with Science Operations Team members as well as the company’s construction and real estate team and by effectively managing assigned maintenance team members
- Oversee Facility Maintenance function to ensure the proper upkeep of the facility.
- Work with Operations Leadership to determine optimum staffing levels for the facility and then hire to meet those levels; Seek approvals for adding or removing staff from the facility.
- Coordinate with operations functional leadership to make improvements or ensure departmental production goals are met and to oversee the installation of new equipment and training of team members on that equipment and those new processes.
- Provide resources and team members to assist with special projects or equipment, systems or process evaluations conducted by the Science Operations Team; Ensure timely feedback / reporting to the Science Operations Team as requested
- Full, demonstrated understanding of the production capabilities of the equipment in use at their facility; Able to identify when equipment has reached capacity and able to work with operations leadership to determine the most appropriate upgrades to that equipment.
- Understanding of the personnel requirements for one or multiple shifts from their facility, including being able to prepare a workable plan for activating and de-activating additional shifts to fine tune facility output to match market requirements.

About You:
General

Education/Experience

Reporting to the Chief Engineer for the facility to which he/she is assigned, the Maintenance Technician will work to oversee access, security, maintenance and services of the cultivation and processing facility to ensure optimum facility operation daily that provides for the work needs of the organization and its employees. In coordination with the Chief Engineer/FM for their assigned facility, the Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. He /she utilizes several trade skills and should be proficient in areas such as procurement carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling and able to communicate clearly to customers and supervisors.
- Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Technical

Chief Science Officer Responsibilities:
- Oversees the performance of microbiological tests on cannabis-related samples and implement new methods
- Coordinate with chemistry lead to plan the preparation of samples upon arrival in the facility
- Ensures that the microbiology department maintains a clean and safe work environment by adequately training microbial technicians in aseptic methods and protocols; following standards and procedures; and complying with legal regulations (Cal-OSHA, BCC)
- Preparation and control of process quality control organisms via strict adherence to company policy
- Data management and verification of data produced via real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction prior to official reporting
- Document results and quality control procedures and enter data in LIMS
- Execution of excellent communication skills in order to facilitate a productive conversation with scientist, analyst, and other personnel
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations
- Develop new microbiological methods not currently online at the laboratory and write standard operating procedures for them in conjunction with state regulations
- Follow strict Quality Assurance operations according to state regulations
- Write new SOPs as needed
- Monitor inventory and supplies
- Test for E. coli, Salmonella, Aspergillus species on Bio-Rad QPCR
- Perform method validation for new methods
