The Role
Fine Fettle is seeking a Field Marketing Associate to assist in a range of marketing operations. The Field Marketing Associate will be dedicated to driving our marketing outreach efforts working with our local communities, industry partners and local small businesses to drive brand awareness and connection with our customers.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated ability to reach out and build relationships, identify opportunities that are on strategy, prioritize projects and provide update progress reports in an organized, effective manner. As part of the Fine Fettle family, we seek people who are enthusiastic, dependable, respectful and professional and excited to learn about various aspects of the cannabis industry and our operations. Success in this role will require a high level of reliability, integrity, and proactive thinking.
The Work You’ll Do:
- Create a rolling 30, 60, 90 day plan in partnership with the Marketing and Retail team that identifies the opportunities and potential payback
- Own and lead marketing marketing outreach efforts in and around our retail stores’ communities by identifying potential partners, building connections and creating programs that are beneficial to both parties on an ongoing basis
- Represent Fine Fettle at events such as community events, industry show, retail partner pop-ups. When necessary, manage scheduling of others for events. This will include weekends and evenings depending on the event.
- Lead and manage the Promotional Calendar planning process, working collaboratively with cross functional team leads to ensure alignment and seamless execution
Qualifications:
- College Degree strongly preferred
- Demonstrated interest in marketing or outreach activities either through prior jobs, internships, coursework
- 2+ years of relevant work experience strongly preferred
- Knowledgeable about cannabis is preferred but not required
- Understanding of marketing in the cannabis industry is preferred
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check
- Cannabis market experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities can include the following but are not limited to:
- Help set up and break down events and pop up presentations
- Ensuring brand messaging is consistent in all interactions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and exciting presentation
- Learning the field marketing sales script
- Training retailers on how to sell our products
- Ensuring that our in store promotions are in best position, condition, and that collateral is always in stock
- Creating a visual log to show how our products are promoted in stores
- Working with the Field Marketing Manager to refine event set up and break down procedures
- Coordinating an inventory of in store promotional materials in the field
- Active inventory and organising of promotional materials available for distribution
- Executing field marketing surveys in a conversational approach
- Engaging with 100s of people every week to provide an excellent brand experience

The Trulieve Field Marketing Associate will work very closely with the sales organization and Field Marketing Manager to reach new customers/ satisfy current customers through marketing initiatives, localized marketing and/or events, and other activities that drive traffic, increase conversion, and deliver brand excitement. We are seeking outgoing, enthusiastic patients to work with dispensaries and vendors to staff various events/promotions and pop-ups for Trulieve. As a Field Marketing Associate for Trulieve, you will be the face of our brands, engaging with dispensaries, retail customers, and patients while teaching them about our products. This will require being knowledgeable and educated with our processes, procedures, and products. Ideal availability will be nights and weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing manner with dispensaries, retail customers, and patients in public settings.
- Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase product awareness
- Assess customers’ needs and interests to best recommend products
- Set up, break down, product sampling and education stations during in-store demonstrations
- Timely completion of all event reports, paperwork, and on-going training commitments
- Partner with sales & FMM to execute marketing event and program calendars to increase awareness, drive engagement, generate leads, and support conversion rates.
- Perform budtender educations, gather store contact information and educate store staff
- Represent our portfolio of brands at events and provide product knowledge to patients and consumers
- Travel around the state as necessary
Requirements:
- 2+ years of working experience in field marketing and/or marketing space
- High School Diploma preferred
- Previous experience planning and executing marketing events and campaigns.
- Strong communication skills
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
- Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven Fun Person that can express excitement and enthusiasm about our cannabis products
- Professional team-player, collaborative, and open to feedback
- Strategic, self-motivated, intellectually curious, innovative and resourceful.
- Detail-oriented, organized and proactive.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
