Job Purpose

As the Ecommerce Manager for Ooze Wholesale, you will be joining during an exciting time of growth and change. Your primary responsibility will be merchandising our Shopify stores as well as other online marketplace listings. You will also oversee all web development projects with external contractors, provide status updates, and monitor all deliverables. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the cross-functional digital team, which includes marketing, creative, brand, sales and customer service teams to enhance our customer’s experience and interaction with our brands.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal category and product merchandising in partnership with the Ecommerce team to reflect customer behavior and product priorities.
- Manage milestones, deadlines, and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects, keeping the team up to date with progress and decisions.
- Manage item listings and coordinate content and marketing mix in various marketplaces.
- Manage site taxonomy/navigation for categories and build product collections to drive sales.
- Identify, develop, and execute A/B testing to improve the customer shopping journey onsite.
- Partner with customer service and product development team to help execute product testing strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure product development, consumer marketing, digital marketing, PR, research, trade and sales execution is aligned with strategic and financial goals.

JOB SUMMARY:
The eCommerce Sales Manager will own the brand’s online business at leading Omnichannel Retailers like Walmart, as well as the full business at pure-play eCommerce sites like Amazon and Thrive Market. This includes content strategy, media activation, pricing, innovation, and any other tactics needed to drive performance. Ultimately responsible for online sales, the ideal candidate will be able to lean on a variety of different strategies to deliver growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own Manitoba Harvest’s eCommerce business
- Lead a network of 3rd party service providers
- Monitor sales on a consistent basis, identify trends, and take action to improve results
- Drive content development to improve conversion
- Manage eCommerce pricing landscape to maximize sales and profitability
- Lead forecasting and budget management
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT, Human Resources, and Customer Marketing
REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for an eCommerce Product Listing Manager to help build & maintain our growing online marketplace of products. Product listing responsibilities include photographing products (with a good smartphone or provided DSLR camera), writing product descriptions, and creating new (or improving existing) product listings on our WooCommerce website(s).
Responsibilities
- Stage and photograph products in a white box photo booth
- Create additional supporting assets like product lifestyle photos or short & simple demonstrative videos for use on the listings
- Basic photo editing as needed using Photoshop
- Weigh & measure products as needed
- Write informative & compelling product descriptions (300+ words)
- Add products to the website using WooCommerce & Elementor Visual Page Builder (no coding required!)
- Audit existing product listings to identify any needed improvements
- Compose ideas for product bundles that are marketable
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain photo room equipment and props
Skills
Basic training will be provided on the products & listing process, but you should come adequately versed with the following skills:
- Cannabis/tobacco product knowledge and familiarity with terminology (rolling papers, pipes, dab rigs, etc.)
- Product photography using a smartphone or provided DSLR
- Basic Photoshop Editing
- Writing, Spelling & Grammar for Product Descriptions
- Internet Research for Product Information & Details
- Basic Experience with WooCommerce and/or WordPress
- Elementor Page Builder is a PLUS (but not required)
- Additional Graphic Design skills a PLUS (but not required)

Schedule
Our office & warehouse is open from 9AM to 5PM between Monday & Friday. You will be provided a dedicated photo room with any needed equipment including a desk and computer. Initially, this will be a contract position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week (up to 40 hours) that you can work as your schedule permits during our office hours.
The majority of your duties will be required to be completed on-site, but out-of-office flexibility may be provided for various tasks in the future depending on your performance.
This position will grow to full-time employment if you are the right fit!
