As the Social Media Specialist for Cannatron (wholesale & DTC), you will be joining during an exciting time of growth and change. We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to define and oversee our brand social media strategy while cultivating and nurturing our online community. The ideal candidate will have a digital-first approach and the ability to be nimble and juggle various projects that change in real time. Attention to detail and the ability to both see the big picture and execute day-to-day activations is a must as social media is a critical piece of our brand and connection to our community. A pulse on what is happening in the industry, digital space and beyond is of utmost importance.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Act as the first touchpoint and voice of the Ooze brand across all owned and organic social channels in a way that ensures a positive community and client experience.
- Work with marketing team to develop monthly/quarterly campaigns and implement them.
- Manage our 5+ brand Instagram accounts and Facebook pages.
- Create and implement both Instagram feed and story content calendars.
- Work directly with our team of affiliate ambassadors to get them new product before launches and have them aligned with our overarching campaigns.
- Influencer management: influencer selection and project alignment with launches and campaigns.
- Create and manage an always-changing social media content calendars including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Maintain an “always on” evergreen level of exposure and support across all brand objectives including retailers, partners, influencers, UGC, branded content, DTC e-commerce, review, testimonials, etc.
- Partner with Customer Experience, Brand, and Product Development teams on the development of customer service guidelines, FAQs, and pre-approved responses and processes to monitor, maintain, and strengthen client communications in line with the brand’s voice and personality.
- Ensure the flawless execution of response times and content delivery in an authentic brand voice.
- Develop “in-the-moment” content (i.e., cover social live for special events, photo shoots, etc.) to compliment pre-planned content.
Requirements
- Associates and/or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is a plus but not a requirement.
- 3+ years of social media and/or creative content marketing experience preferred. Note: Portfolios, links and/or examples of previous social media experience is helpful when reviewing candidates.
- Must be willing and available to work in ‘real-time’ and after business hours—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—with an always on approach across all social media channels.
- Strong understanding and interest in cannabis and vaping market trends and the cultural landscape, with the ability to seek out new ideas and approaches that align with the Ooze brand.
- Naturally curious (idea generator)—ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life on social.
- Elevated creative eye and aesthetic; strong creative vision as well as experience working with a design or creative team, agency partners and/or freelancers.
- Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Salsify, Teams, and other similar platforms is a plus.

As a Wholesale Sales Manager for Cannatron, you will share our enthusiasm about the opportunity to apply your sales expertise in a unique, emerging, and explosive industry. You will play a critical role on a dynamic, fast paced team focused on developing Dispensary and Processor customers as well as uncover unique ways to expand and develop new business. You will be assigned an existing book of customers as well as qualified leads for new customer conversion. Our ideal candidate will be hungry to succeed with the ability to navigate through a challenging and sometimes restrictive landscape.
This position will work in-house at our Headquarters in Oak Park, MI and will include travel. Fully remote work is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages consistent growth within assigned customer base for dispensaries, processors, and other cannabis related businesses.- Makes and develops contacts with assigned customers and strategic partners.
- Maintains and develops customer relations for new and larger established existing clients, assuring all existing clients are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need-based marketing relations.
- Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
- Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, warm calls, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
- Pursue new sales opportunities through inbound leads follow up and outbound warm calls and emails.
- Research accounts, identifies key players and generates interest
- Gains and retains extensive product selection application knowledge as well as detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
- Remain up to date with industry trends and regulations.
- Assist in trade shows, expos, and promotional events
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of proven success in Sales/Account management
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems
- Excellent phone and people skills
- General Knowledge of Cannabis industry including concentrates, oils, pod systems, and vape technologies – beneficial
- PC skills-MS Word, Excel, PP, etc.

- Responsible for key business analysis including marketplace / business conditions, share trends, competitive assessment, packaging, promotional evaluation, product assortment, SKU rationalization, pricing/sizing analysis, and market research analysis and implications that drive sales.
- Deeply understands the categories of the brand and how it competes: financially, at retail, on the digital shelf and in the eyes of the consumer.
- Ensure optimal category and product merchandising in partnership with the Ecommerce team to reflect customer behavior and product priorities.
- Partner with customer service and product development team to help execute product testing strategies.
- Coordinate the development of all global creative on assigned projects/brands.

As a Wholesale Sales Manager for Cannatron, you will share our enthusiasm about the opportunity to apply your sales expertise in a unique, emerging, and explosive industry. You will play a critical role on a dynamic, fast paced team focused on developing Dispensary and Processor customers as well as uncover unique ways to expand and develop new business. You will be assigned an existing book of customers as well as qualified leads for new customer conversion. Our ideal candidate will be hungry to succeed with the ability to navigate through a challenging and sometimes restrictive landscape.
This position will work in-house at our Headquarters in Oak Park, MI and will include travel. Fully remote work is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages consistent growth within assigned customer base for dispensaries, processors, and other cannabis related businesses.- Makes and develops contacts with assigned customers and strategic partners.
- Maintains and develops customer relations for new and larger established existing clients, assuring all existing clients are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need-based marketing relations.
- Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
- Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, warm calls, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
- Pursue new sales opportunities through inbound leads follow up and outbound warm calls and emails.
- Research accounts, identifies key players and generates interest
- Gains and retains extensive product selection application knowledge as well as detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
- Remain up to date with industry trends and regulations.
- Assist in trade shows, expos, and promotional events
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of proven success in Sales/Account management
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems
- Excellent phone and people skills
- General Knowledge of Cannabis industry including concentrates, oils, pod systems, and vape technologies – beneficial
- PC skills-MS Word, Excel, PP, etc.

OozeX is hitting the market through a partnership with Ooze and Trucenta. Trucenta is a vertically integrated cannabis company with outdoor and indoor cultivation, processing, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and retail. We have over 50,000 square feet of indoor cultivation throughout southeast Michigan and a 30-acre farm in Emmett Charter Township adjacent to Battle Creek. Our processing lab is Michigan’s largest capacity cannabis oil extraction facility. Trucenta manufactures and wholesale brands such as Dazed Extracts, Godflower and Sweet Spot. Trucenta’s retail brand BREEZE, opened in Hazel Park, MI on March 8, 2020, and was the first recreational provisioning center in Oakland County.
As a Field Sales Representative for OozeX, you will be joining just in time for the start of a growing brand. You will work as a Trucenta employee, focused on selling the Ooze X brand exclusively. You will have the unique support of both Trucenta as well as Ooze/Cannatron’s involvement from a brand management perspective as well as offering cross-functional support from our digital team.
This role will include travel throughout Michigan 75% or more with some in-office located in Oak Park, MI and Troy, MI.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop new partnerships with Michigan dispensaries, as well as manage and/or maximize partnerships to drive sales.
- Drive repeat business through strong local networking
- Maintain up to date knowledge on products and industry knowledge, including cannabis laws and regulation.
- Proactively answer customer questions and ensure knowledge of products and usage.
- Execute high customer experience standards, to include a world-class culture and industry-leading customer engagement through strong sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling expectations including weekend, evenings, and holiday schedules.
Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations)
- A minimum of a High School diploma is required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with sales in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Strong computer-based skills
- Comfortable using G-Suite
- Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
- A highly self-motivated and ethical individual
- Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check (state specific)
- Reliable transportation
