The Inventory Technician will be working closely with the Post-Harvest Lead and the Cultivation Inventory Lead to assure that we keep up to date on any plant movement in the state appointed seed to sale system. Summary of Position: The Inventory Technician assists Inventory Manager with fulfillment of clinic bulk orders, transport (in-state shipping)/receiving of cannabis and cannabis products to and from clinics and manufacturers, and the verification of inventory sales, transfers, and loss. In addition, this position shall assist in the verification of the proper integration between the state tracking system (State Tracking Software) and the point of sale (POS Software). This position includes assisting in the compliance side of inventory, including tracking the communication between the two software platforms, and pushing all necessary information through (including creation of manifests, entry of data, and audits of information). In the absence of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Clerk may be required to evaluate supply levels in all retail locations. The Inventory Technician is also responsible for assisting with all points of transport, including tracking and transportation of inventory, both as a chain of custody and physical movements of product to clinic locations. The Inventory Technician is expected to be able to fill-in in all capacities outlined within the Inventory Manager Job description in the absence of the Inventory Manager. Qualifications:

METRC & Inventory Technician Duties and Responsibilities
As the METRC Technician, you will be responsible for all intake, shipping, packaging, and inventory of cannabis products as it relates to the METRC platform and it’s integrations. Responsibilities for this job include but are not limited to:
- Performing physical receipt and delivery of cannabis products and properly entering data into METRC
- Performing intake of cannabis products into the inventory management software
- Assisting the Compliance Officer with inventory and plant audits and reconciliations every 14 days
- Perform quality control checks on final products before delivery
- Drafting weekly audit, inventory, and delivery/sales reports for Compliance Officer
- Scheduling Secure Transport for deliveries and create METRC Transport Manifest
- Scheduling Safety Compliance Testing for Full Panel tests
- Assisting the Compliance Officer with full panel compliance testing
- Assisting the Compliance Officer with Harvest Day tasks
- Disseminating test results to stakeholders
- Create trade samples and sample transport manifests for the Sales team.
- Ensuring deliveries are fulfilled and delivered on time, and purchase orders match invoices and transfer manifests
- Troubleshooting inventory issues that may come up in the course of operating the platform
- Maintaining METRC and inventory management supplies

Summary of Position: The Inventory Technician assists Inventory Manager with fulfillment of clinic bulk orders, transport (in-state shipping)/receiving of cannabis and cannabis products to and from clinics and manufacturers, and the verification of inventory sales, transfers, and loss. In addition, this position shall assist in the verification of the proper integration between the state tracking system (State Tracking Software) and the point of sale (POS Software). This position includes assisting in the compliance side of inventory, including tracking the communication between the two software platforms, and pushing all necessary information through (including creation of manifests, entry of data, and audits of information). In the absence of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Clerk may be required to evaluate supply levels in all retail locations. The Inventory Technician is also responsible for assisting with all points of transport, including tracking and transportation of inventory, both as a chain of custody and physical movements of product to clinic locations. The Inventory Technician is expected to be able to fill-in in all capacities outlined within the Inventory Manager Job description in the absence of the Inventory Manager. The Inventory Technician is required to assist the Packaging Department as needed.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 1+ years of related experience, cannabis industry experience preferred.
· Previous experience with State Tracking Software and/or POS Software, is preferred.
· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, are required. Candidates must be able to pass an MVD Background Check.
· Ability to pass all applicable background checks as required by organizational policy and state regulation.
· Understanding of the current New Mexico Cannabis Program rules and regulations is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing.
· Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving skills, and demonstrated aptitude in meeting facilitation, organization, and documentation.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, E-mail, and the ability to learn computer-based software quickly. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
· Ability to perform basic and advanced arithmetic and present data through graphs, charts, spreadsheets, and other forms of analysis.
· Knowledge and understanding of inventory control concepts, and the ability to create new systems to monitor and manage inventory.
· Ability to work in both large and small diverse teams, under pressure, and while remaining organized.

- Convert product from bulk to pre-packaged units in point of sale system
- Generate and print product labels
- Properly apply correct product labels, barcodes, and price labels to correct products
- Manually roll pre-rolls and manually label product packages
- Update inventory additions, subtractions, adjustments, and conversions in POS system
- Confirm delivered packages product counts and weights
- Report discrepancies to inventory manager
- Record inventory discrepancies as directed
- Unload and update merchandise in web portals and online menus
- Stock merchandise neatly, and according to policy
- Give invoices and manifests to reception/admin to scan and save
- Properly stock sales floor
- Count and record inventory manually
