Position Overview: Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages of life-cycle cannabis growth to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system in compliance with our client's processes and state regulations.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Clone, plant, water, fertilize, and water plants, shrubs, and using hand tools and gardening tools.
- Harvest plants, and transplant or pot and label them.
- Record information about plants and plant growth.
- Feel plants' leaves and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease.
- Fill growing tanks with water.
- Inspect plants and bud ties to assess quality. Identify pests, diseases or infestations and manage the outbreak.
- Clean work areas and maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Check and water all plants in cultivation facility as outlined in the Daily Room-Checklist.
- Transplanting plants into larger containers as needed.
- Trimming plants in the vegetative stage and creating clones
- Washing pots/trays/lights, etc. returning them to the appropriate Clean Room
- Harvesting and Trimming flowering plants.
- Staking weak plants.
- Examining plants for signs of pests or disease
- Possible overtime requirements based on business needs
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sell. Alternatively, a background in horticulture and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledgeable on regulations related to the Medical Use of Marijuana Program.
- Experience with inventory control methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict management,

JOB SUMMARY
The Cultivation Technician provides manual labor to support the operations within the Cultivation department, while abiding by laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Physical, repetitive agricultural work, follow directions and take instructions from supervisors.- Repetitive climbing on a ladder or working on an elevated platform.
- Watering/treating plants.
- Filling pots with soil.

Purpose
The Cultivation Technician II - Packaging Technician position is responsible for executing their daily role within the Packaging department at an effective pace with accuracy to achieve the weekly objectives to package dried cannabis product appropriately. This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy, and participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Packaging Technician of Packaging will report to the Lead of Packaging and Supervisor of Packaging.
Essential Duties
Procedures & Tasks
- Supporting the Lead and Supervisor of Packaging to package dried cannabis product appropriately. Fulfilling daily and weekly objectives that have been instructed and trained by Supervisorership, such as, packaging pre-pack and shelf flower product, creating and packaging joints and blunts, confirming the accuracy of the packaging, and assisting with order fulfillment for product exporting.
- Operating with equipment and machinery to package dried cannabis product as instructed and trained, safely. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment and machinery to sustain longevity and performance.
- Executing objectives to achieve desired quality and consistently throughout assignment.
- Organization and reporting data entries to spreadsheets and log as instructed. Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of spreadsheets and labels.
- Properly achieving packaging objectives to maintain quotas based on instruction from leadership. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas.
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Post Harvest dept tasks, Production dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Training Requirements
- This position will follow the direction and training by the Supervisors of Packaging and Manager of Packaging assigned to the Holliston, MA cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.
- Training towards PharmaCann's mission statement and leadership development.
- Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors,
- table, floors etc.).
- Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas. Contribute and show support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
- After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.
Compliance and Reporting
- This role involves final packaging checks to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant. Follow company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
- Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
- Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the Supervisorership of the department.
- Reporting data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Supervisors of Packaging and Manager of Packaging.
Job Requirement
- This position is expected to be available as needed to adherir to the responsibilities within and throughout the job description.
- Must be eligible for the position based on state and federal laws and regulations.
Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position is part of a fast paced environment.
- Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification.

Job Qualifications
Work Experience

We are a Tier-3 cannabis Producer/Processor in South Seattle. Our mission is to provide some of the most consistent, safe, high-quality cannabis and extracts in Washington state. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager or department lead, the Cultivation/Propagation Technician will perform manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing cannabis, including, but not limited to; watering, feeding, pruning, cloning, cleaning, data collection, and transplanting. Attention to detail is extremely important in this role. The ideal candidate will excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state-regulated system and timelines. The Cultivation Technician is part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the high quality of live and harvested product while paying close attention to detail during the cultivation process. Ensuring quality cannabis leaves the cultivation facility is the most important aspect of this role. Schedule will be Wednesday-Sunday (8:30am-5:00pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with daily plant maintenance: irrigation, nutrition management, pruning, topping, training
- Clone, clean/sanitize pots, fill pots with soil and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepared them for the flowering stage.
- Propagate multiple cultivars on a weekly time frame based on tight production schedules
- Log and track plants across stages of growth in traceability software to ensure compliance and scheduling requirements are met
- Perform tasks related to sanitation, decontamination, propagation, transplantation, harvest, trimming, etc. in a highly productive and efficient manner to maximize yield
- Top, defoliate, trellis and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
- Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering bays, spaces the pots according to the number of pots per bench, ensures irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
- Work with cultivation team to determine changes needed based on the nutritional and/or environmental needs of the crop.
- Harvests product; defoliates, hangs and organizes product by strain and batch.
- Maintain appropriate biosecurity measures.
- Periodically moves/rotates barrels and/or boxes to keep a consistent drying/curing process.
- Manually and/or by cart transport waste to dumping area.
- Clears pots and waste out of greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and SKILLS
- Minimum 2+ years cannabis cultivation experience.

- May require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Position Overview:
A Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages of life-cycle cannabis growth to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system in compliance with 105 CMR 725.105 (G)(3) & (4).
Part Time including weekends
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Clone, plant, water, fertilize, and water plants, shrubs, and trees, using hand tools and gardening tools.
- Harvest plants, and transplant or pot and label them.
- Record information about plants and plant growth.
- Feel plants' leaves and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease.
- Fill growing tanks with water.
- Inspect plants and bud ties to assess quality. Identify pests, diseases or infestations and manage the outbreak.
- Clean work areas and maintain
- tools in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Check and water all plants in cultivation facility as outlined in the Daily Room-Checklist.
- Transplanting plants into larger containers as needed.
- Trimming plants in the vegetative stage and creating clones from material.
- Washing pots/trays/lights, etc. retuning them to the appropriate Clean Room
- Harvesting and Trimming flowering plants.
- Staking weak plants.
- Examining plants for signs of pests or disease.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sell.
- Knowledgeable on regulations related to the Medical Use of Marijuana Program.
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by 105 CMR 725.030 and must not have been convicted of an excluded felony offense as defined in 105 CMR 725.030 (A)(2).
- Experience with inventory control methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict management,
- Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of production activities as it relates to horticulture.
- Three to five years of experience in related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in horticulture, plant science or manufacturing is a plus.

The Cultivation Associate is responsible for providing cultivation and maintenance support including; the day-to-day upkeep of all plants, harvest, pest management monitoring and treatment, while maintaining a safe work environment. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work may require prolonged standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed at a busy outdoor cannabis facility. The outdoor/indoor facility is exposed to the natural elements. Workers should be prepared for fluctuating cold mornings and hot afternoons weather, sun exposure, and allergies. Work may be stressful at times and may include dealing with difficult people and/or law enforcement. Available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events during harvest periods is required.

- Follows crop production plan to include an integrated pest management plan (IPM) best practices.
- Develops proficiency and follows safety practices with the operation of equipment, fertigation systems, environmental controls, water distribution system, security system, etc., which includes performing preventive maintenance tasks; troubleshooting malfunctions; assisting with repairs.
