ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee co-man relationships, planning, scheduling, sourcing, production and reporting of all aspects of Consumables Operations for multiple states
- Oversee and own all parts of the manufacturing workflow
- Report on performance to key collaborators and leadership

Position: Business Operations Project Manager
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
The Project Manager will help manage projects related to operating facilities and businesses across the organization. The role cuts across concepts, functions, and departments. The Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and executing strategic projects across departments to completion – on time and on budget. We are looking for someone who will set the new gold standard for organization, communication, and flawless execution of our roadmap. Must Have strong organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills. Responsibilities include assisting in developing and driving expansion projects for new store and distribution center operations, and project managing other initiatives to expand our business and increase our operational efficiencies. This position will report into the Director of Corporate Operations.
Essential Functions:
➢ Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution and completion of specific projects. Meet with stakeholders to define specific requirements of each project.
➢ Monitor, report, and lead scope, resources, scheduling, budgets and tracking as well as development of projects.
➢ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
➢ Develop and execute schedules and critical path to ensure timely completion of projects. Create and track project progress in Project Manager software (Monday.com)
➢ Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Forecast potential barriers to project completion, providing options for potential solutions.
➢ Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills, Education and Experience:
➢ Bachelor’s Degree in design, business administration, construction management, or similar field preferred.
➢ 5+ years in a project management or administrative planning role.
➢ High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with specific proficiency in Microsoft excel.
➢ Knowledge of Project Management software products to introduce and manage such as Monday, Asana, Microsoft Project, Trello, or similar software.
➢ PMP certification preferred.
➢ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, willing to visit worksites across Phoenix area.
➢ Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs frequently.
➢ Must be able to walk, sit and stand for up to 8 hours a day to walk through build-outs.

Essential Functions:
Operational Excellence
- Work closely with GM and Sales Manager to exceed sales volume and KPI goals
- Model an environment of open communication by sharing enterprise strategy and corporate messaging to associates
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operation procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance and loss prevention.
- Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day to day operations run smoothly through the store team.
- Understands merchandise flow standards; backroom organization and how it effects floor set execution, replenishment and recovery and the overall in store brand experience.
- Oversee all ingestion, inventory adjustments and proper documentation of inventory deliveries.
- Ensure store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position is responsible for holding the Operations team accountable for policy and procedures, compliance, ingestions and all other operational objectives of Project Cannabis operational initiatives.
Travel: 20% Local travel between retail locations within Los Angeles; out of town travel as required for attendance at company sponsored trade shows/events.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This job operates in a professional retail store environment. The use of standard office equipment and POS systems are required. This position regularly requires a flex schedule, long hours, nights and weekend work and holiday availability. Schedule subject to change based of the needs of the business.
Physical Demands:

PRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGER, MARKETING OPERATIONS
Reports to: Director, Marketing Operations
Position Overview:
The Production Project Manager will ensure marketing production projects run efficiently and deliver on time and on budget. Working across the entire organization, the main focus of this role will be confirming specs for new pharmaceutical/CPG products and sourcing materials through the supply chain. Working well as a collaborative team member is imperative to success in the role, as is the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are still being developed and maturing.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Aligning with internal team on specifications for packaging; documenting and socializing final requirements
- Recommend efficient workflows, processes, and materials based on deep experience with supply chain sourcing.
- Heavy vendor management – triple bidding vendors as required for new packaging components.
- Keep detailed project risk logs, surfacing problems or roadblocks with project before they affect deadlines.
- Work with internal stakeholders to confirm manufacturing specs – recommend packaging solutions that are compatible with existing machinery.
- Work with creative team to produce die-lines to spec.
- Route creative to internal stakeholders and document compliance approvals.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant field required, Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management and/or development and a professional project manager certification such as PMP, PSM etc. preferred.
- Marketing experience in a consumer product, retail, or pharmaceutical environment preferred including strong packaging experience.
- Experience working in an FDA or state regulated environment a plus. Medical marijuana product knowledge desired.
- Team player – ability to work well with many different personality types with ease.
- Can-do, tenacious attitude. Ability to navigate new or unchartered territory with professionalism.
- Must work well under pressure, within tight timelines and constantly shifting priorities.
