Essential Job Functions
- Organizing and preparing product for distillation and extraction.
- Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and consistently.

Experience and Education
- 1(+) year Distillation experience (short path, thin film, simple distillation).
- 1(+) year of filtering experience.
- 1(+) year of solvent removal experience (Rotovap, reactor, or similar).
- 1(+) year BHO, Propane (70/30 splits), or hexane extraction.
- Has precursory knowledge in the operation of cannabis extraction equipment.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the oil processing industry.
- Has experience following instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform critical job functions.

- Must already possess or be able to qualify to receive an Arizona Medical Marijuana Dispensary Agent Registration Card and be 21 years of age or older

Job Description – Full-time Extraction Assistant
Primary duties:
The extract assistant will work with the Extraction Lead to fulfill weekly and monthly production goals of our high-quality proprietary CO2 oil and distillates. Main role is to assist Extraction Lead with various oil processing steps in a busy production laboratory as needed including but not limited to:
· Collecting raw extract from high-pressure system and diluting for next step in process
· Vacuuming out spent flower material
· Grinding flower material for extractors
· Packing flower material into extraction vessels
· Various quantitative filtrations
· Assist with distillations/rotary evaporations
· Formulating and blending flavored distillates
· Other glassware and equipment cleaning and instrument maintenance as necessary
· General laboratory cleaning and maintenance duties

Minimum Qualifications:
· Ability to follow specific protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards
· Careful and diligent worker to handle high-value product,
· Measure, track and record specific data for state compliance and internal analysis

- Extraction Lab Assistant
We are seeking a full-time Extraction Lab Assistant for our location in Clackamas
Position Summary: As a Lab Assistant you are responsible for the extraction of cannabis for cannabis products in accordance with Oregon laws and regulations and standards set by Bobsled. Responsible for communicating known issues to the management team and must be able to follow standard operating procedures within the facility.

· Inspect the machine or equipment for operational integrity to ensure that the instrument and receiving vessels are clean and free from residual plant matter from the previous match.
· Perform a visual inspection of raw plant material to ensure that only the highest quality flower is used.
· Bring any discrepancies in quality to the Extraction Engineer.
· Perform quality checks on the finished cannabis products.
· Wear personal protective equipment required to operate each machine.
· Prevent cross-contamination and manufacturing fumes from being incorporated into the extracted substances.
· Follow standard operating procedures.
· Accurately weigh and record all products in our inventory tracking system.
· Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the processing area.
· Communicate clearly and often to group platforms for daily updates.
Qualifications:
· Cannabis extractions concepts and market knowledge is preferred.
