Customer Service Supervisor
The CSS is responsible for managing customer service representatives who support a consistent customer experience through telephone, email, and online chat interaction. The CSS ensures all customer and patient inquiries are answered and responded to in a timely and professional manner, develops reporting for key performance indicators(KPI), and drives results through employee development and performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivers exceptional customer service by listening, interacting, and following-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Works proactively with the CSR team to solve customer grievances and concerns.
- Develops and implements performance scorecards for each CSR.
- Develops and implements KPI relevant to the work performed in the department.
- Builds and increases customer retention, fostering healthy relationships, developing brand awareness and loyalty.
- Utilize customer and team member feedback to implement changes to improve the customer experience readily.
- Handles sensitive conversations while also protecting the company from liability and breach of various regulations.
- Assists with Patients pre-registrations and Zoom consultations upon request.
- Effectively utilize technology and software platforms to maintain efficiency, documentation, and reporting.
- Data collecting and reporting that pertains to products and services that were satisfactory and/or inadequate.
- Performs all daily opening and closing procedures for the call center.
- Provide daily correspondence via email with the RSM and team members as needed.
- Adheres to all Northeast Alternatives Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Experience in communication, customer service, supervising personnel, and detail-oriented work environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Full-time (40 Hours per week). Must be available seven days a week in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Must be 21 and older have a clean criminal record.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs

Role OverviewNortheast Alternatives is looking for a Procurement Specialist who can become an integral part of our finance team and grow within our company.
This newly created role will work to manage all vendor contracts for our business. They may negotiate contracts, price vendors and manage the proper delivery of products. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with our department managers to determine their buying needs and ensure that the right supplies and materials to run the business are delivered on time, that par values for reordering are set, and monitored. They will also keep a detailed inventory to track accurate supplies.
Minimum Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual will build vendor relationships to secure the best prices on all supplies and materials required to operate the business as well as these other responsibilities:
- Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the departments of the organization
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Track inventory and restock goods when needed
- Stay up to date on industry trends to determine appropriate goods

Wholesale Inventory Compliance Agent
Job Description *This position ensures all wholesale inventory items, as well as the corresponding documentation, are accounted for in a compliant manner. All discrepancies, package tags, and METRC work are handled immediately. This includes monitoring, reviewing and uploading invoices, manifests, and any other documents pertaining to wholesale inventory. This position requires working directly with the Inventory Compliance Manager.
As a WCA, you will perform routine inspections of wholesale finished products, as well as support on-going work with organizing wholesale orders. This position will also be responsible for ensuring packages are being produced in a manner that meets MA compliance standards, as well as proper use of METRC. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail, experience working within a highly regulated industry, and advanced customer service skills.*
Responsibilities and Duties
- Review all documentation pertaining to compliance and ensure completion of all data entry.
- Reconciliation of Cannabis inventories in METRC. This includes oversight of physical locations and digital locations.
- Create products for wholesale orders within the systems, and assists with product errors.
- Uploading/monitoring of wholesale purchase order invoices, METRC manifests, and any other transfer documents into the corporate drive.
- Destroy unusable cannabis products.
- Assist in processing outgoing wholesale deliveries.
- Stay up to date on all existing and new compliance laws specific to inventory packaging, labeling, testing, storage, auditing, transfers/deliveries, destruction, security, marketing, and retail sale of products.
- Complete reports on errors and deficiencies within documentation and record keeping of wholesale products.
- Perform routine audits of wholesale inventory documents, and physical inventory audits. Report audit results to the ICM and make immediate corrective action as directed.
- Provide accurate lists of on hand inventory, status designation, and required items to be fully compliant for wholesale.
- Recognize areas of opportunity that improve safety, product quality, food safety, productivity, and employee morale.
- Work closely with the Packaging Department to ensure all key performance indicators in compliance are being met or exceeded.
Creation of Massachusetts compliant Cannabis product labels to include all required information listed in the 935 CMR Cannabis Regulations.
- Attend weekly Inventory Compliance Department meetings to provide status updates and reports, as well as discuss any changes in regulations or processes.
- Perform random, and routine finished product weight checks of wholesale inventory to remain compliant with the 935 CMR Cannabis Regulations.
- Inspect retained cannabis products and vendor return products, as deemed necessary, to ensure safe and compliant destruction of the product. Record any instances of defective product for quality control improvement in the designated logs.
- Review in-process batch documentation which contains all the product testing information to ensure real-time compliance and labeling accuracy of product specifications.
- Discuss errors directly with the ICM so any corrections can be made in a timely manner.
- Provide real-time feedback to the Packaging Manager by monitoring documentation practices and overall adherence to written policies/procedures for compliance and quality control.
- Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot manufacturing and production defects, and vendor complaints.
- Provide advice with process improvements to eliminate errors and reduce risk of compromising product quality.
- Conduct all duties in compliance with safety rules, applicable SOPs, and other applicable guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
