Bookkeeping Associate
POSITION
The qualified candidate will be responsible for handling and inputting all transactions for purchasing and sales. Audits of bank accounts and cash records. Inputting daily expenses and paying all bills. Must be able to use QuickBooks, ability to use QuickBooks Desktop is preferred. Familiarity with taxes is a plus.
In addition to Bookkeeping the applicant will be responsible for handling the management of California’s Track and Trace Metrc program to comply with all State of California rules and regulations. METRC stands for Marijuana Enforcement, Tracking, Reporting, and Compliance. METRC is a web-based, state-mandated tracking and reporting software to maintain chain of custody of all marijuana products from seed to sale. Tasks include, but are not limited to, Metrc tag orders, package tagging, inventory control and order fulfillment. This position is responsible for implementing all internal processes and procedures while ensuring the operation stays compliant and meets all county, state and federal regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Live Inventory – Measure, track and report daily inventory, discrepancies and sales.
- Auditing – Review and audit outgoing tagged Packages in Storage and the METRC software. Manage and review all outgoing METRC orders, ensuring complete accuracy with the manifests and invoices. Conduct/lead physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- AR/Bookkeeping – Coordinate and process cash handling including following security protocol as well as tracking cash in QuickBooks.
- Office Administration – Tracking company expenses, generating expense reports and procurement of office and METRC supplies.

In this role you will oversee:

Seeking an experienced Ethanol Extractor.

- Position duties and responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain extraction operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
- Extracting cannabis through various methods and post-extraction processing, to ensure quality oil and terpenes, using some or all of following materials / techniques: Ethanol, Distillation, Winterization and Decarboxylation.
- Position may participate in product development and be responsible for supporting future product launches and methods of extraction.
- Regulatory compliance is an important responsibility of this role.
- Must follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials and adhere to all OSHA regulations. Process concentrates and extracts.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment and facility.
- Inventory and record keeping of lab equipment. Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and temperatures of machinery.
- Assist with laboratory and equipment cleanup. Wash and sterilize lab surfaces and glassware.
- Disposal of waste to keep laboratory and all other working areas in pristine conditions.
- General routine maintenance on lab equipment. Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and regular data logging.
- Maintain and log all data sheets for chemicals and products
- General & Physical Requirements**:
- Light to moderate lifting (up to 25-75lbs); heavier weights with assistance.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

- Follow up to ensure positive outcomes, expand breadth of offerings, and build a solid foundational customer base.
- Territory Forecasts.
- Schedule sales appointments with prospects and call existing accounts for re-orders.
- Managing incoming customer calls including product issues and general customer support.
- Process orders through enterprise software system - ACT.
- Manage post-sale process including sample deliveries and payments.
- Create both standardized and custom reports based on scheduled and on-demand requests and deliver results consistently on a timely basis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with farms for biomass used for processing.
- Assist with purchasing raw materials.
Requirements
- At least two years of inside sales experience.
- Experience in cannabis, consumer products or wine and spirits.
- Two years of related experience providing reporting and analytics to a sales organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and able to work effectively with little supervision.
- Experience in a fast paced team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical business audiences.
