The Team Lead must perform duties in such a way as to create an optimum cost-benefit ratio.
The Team Leader is responsible for monitoring the operations of the designated manufacturing work stream on a shift basis. The Team Leader will also perform Manufacturing Technician duties on manufacturing floor. The Team Leader oversees the activities of shift personnel to assure production schedules are met.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activities of all personnel on assigned shift; serve as the responsible Operations Supervisor on shift for designated value stream. Serve as responsible supervisor for site as needed.
- Assure that personnel issues or operational conditions are properly dealt with during the shift, including but not limited to, safety and medical emergencies, personnel issues, regulatory agency interaction, and technical (process) issues. Update the appropriate Operations Management to take appropriate corrective action.

Northampton Dispensary Team Leader (New England Treatment Access)

Position: A Dispensary Lead Guide is responsible for managing the environment in the dispensaries in order to balance operational goals with the hospitality and service standards that NETA is known for. This role embodies professionalism and resilience at all times as to be a beacon for the entire team in moments of ambiguity and change. The overarching goal of a Lead Guide is to protect the experience of our clients and our team to ensure that NETAs core values are demonstrated at all times.
Duties, Authority and Supervision:
- Reports directly to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
- Direct reports include Guides and training ambassadors
Responsibilities:
- Maintains dispensary operations by adhering to NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operation of the dispensary and
fully comply with state medical and recreational cannabis regulations - Supervises, leads and inspires staff through coaching and example setting
- Lead Guides are responsible for implementation, coaching and follow through on Performance Management for a
subset of Guides, including SMART Goals, quarterly checkins and taking a direct hand in the annual review process - Completes store operational requirements, including PSA station assignments, proper floor coverage and management of
client experience - Diagnoses areas of improvement and works to build and implement action plans to improve performance, growth and
efficiency - Responsible for interacting with clients, providing knowledge, information and resources on a regular basis.
- Ensures staff maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times
- Act as a liaison between clients and NETA management to continually improve the customer experience
- Working closely and effectively with all teams involved in the retail operation, including Inventory, Call Center and Security
- Utilize the point of sale record keeping system to maintain and manage patient records and other important information
- Perform daily reconciliation process between state system and point of sale system for medical patients
- Responsible for all cash handling procedures
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory position leading a team in a fast paced environment (Required)
- Knowledge of basic computer skills including the Google Suite, Point of Sale software and cash management
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, coaching and multitasking skills
- Able to respond quickly and change course if needed to respond to NETAs needs in this ever changing industry
- Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a calm, professional manner
- Maintains the stamina and resilience needed to be a consistent and effective leader at NETA
Physical capability: Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time, and perform computer processing operations. Must be able
to accommodate a varying schedule based on operational needs. Ability to handle stress in performing multiple tasks. Ability to
lift 30 lbs. unassisted.
Superior verbal and interpersonal communication skills. High-energy, mature, and hands on leadership skills. Outgoing, positive
attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work collaboratively and be a dynamic force for change and growth. Ability to work
effectively under pressure while maintaining composure at all times.

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviews professional publications; establishes personal networks; participates in professional societies.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Previous retail experience; cannabis sales experience
- Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier) system.
- Must not have been convicted of any felony offenses pursuant to state statutes.
