RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner with customers, vendors, visitors, and team members.

- Answer inbound communications appropriately and maintain proper communication etiquette. This includes communication through phone, email, and social channels.
- Diligent identification reconciliation throughout an order’s lifecycle.

Reports to: Call Center and Delivery Manager

Position Summary:
Our Delivery Drivers ensure that products are delivered on time and in the proper condition while providing excellent customer service. Delivery Drivers are responsible for packing delivery order products into delivery cases and loading delivery cases into their vehicles before delivering orders to customers. During downtime in delivery volume, delivery drivers will also assist with in-store duties at the store management team's discretion. A Delivery Driver will always deliver each order on time and with a high level of professionalism.
Duties/Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of delivery experience
- Valid CA Driver License
- Must have experience navigating and using mobile applications
- Proof of Eligibility to work in the US
- Must be willing and able to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
- Must be able to understand and operate GPS Technology
- Must have a hand free device
- Must have a clean driving report for the past 5 years

Drivers are responsible for all activities related to coordinating the delivery of orders to Nice Guys Delivery customers. Drivers help organize their delivery routes, then deliver products to the end consumer using a company-owned vehicle and process transactions for the order at the point of delivery. Drivers collaborate with the entire Nice Guys team to ensure on-time product deliveries and follow the company’s strategic product goals and consumer needs.
Drivers are an essential part of our business. Nice Guys customers could not receive our products without our Drivers! Drivers are often the only face-to-face interaction our customers have with members of the Nice Guy team, so it’s critical that our Drivers represent the company in a professional, friendly manner and leave the customer feeling taken care of and with a positive impression of the business.
Drivers will be encouraged and mentored by their supervisor to develop the skills, experience and confidence to make daily decisions that have the potential to impact the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Delivers product to customers using company-provided car
- Processes cash and credit card transactions with customers at the point of delivery
- Coordinates with the Dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
- Provides excellent customer service and answers customer questions at the point of delivery
- Uses OnFleet application on company-provided phone to plan routes and track deliveries
- Keeps a written record of all deliveries
- Conducts a cash drop with the Dispatch Manager on duty at the end of their shift
- Supports mentoring and training more junior members of the team as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
In order to be considered for the position, Drivers must fulfill the following minimum qualifications:
- Must have a valid, current driver’s license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- Previous delivery driving experience is preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To make deliveries of our products and wholesale products to dispensaries located throughout the state as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Be on time for duty and ready to work at the beginning of the shift.
- Maintain a confidential personal access code to arm and disarm the facility burglar alarm system.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all delivery information gained while conducting your duties.

- Prepare incident reports and when necessary, make notifications to Security Manager of incidents as they are occurring.
- Follow all NYSDOH guidelines and maintain compliance as provided in Section 1004.10 and 1004.13 of the NYS Medical Marijuana Laws and Guidelines
- Conduct additional duties as directed by a Security Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Basic Qualifications:

- Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License, CDL preferred

Morning shifts starting between 9:00AM-9:30AM ending no later than 5:30pm

Hello, we are a state-licensed cannabis delivery service based out of Oakland looking to hire a full-time delivery driver to work Monday through Friday. We primarily deliver to Walnut Creek and Concord and that is where your shift will usually end each night.
Required Work Hours: Monday to Friday, (10am - around 7pm on average)
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
-21 years of age and older only
-CLEAN, well maintained and reliable vehicle (preferably 2004 and newer) to use for deliveries
-California drivers license / Valid registration and insurance / Clean driving record
-Own a smartphone
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:
-Punctual, reliable, motivated
-Professional and friendly
-Customer service oriented
-Attention to detail, Fast learner, Note taker
-Enjoy driving and enough energy to drive up to 200 miles everyday
-Basic knowledge and understanding of cannabis
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Drive 700-900 miles per week with personal vehicle
-End of shift time can vary each day, so need someone flexible and can work late if needed (10pm max)
COMPENSATION:
$20/hr + 62.5 cents per mile + tips
Fixed hourly rate + mileage reimbursement + tips will probably average out around $40/hr
This is a 1099 contractor position
(An employee position with company car may be available in the future if interested)
