SUMMARY: Bosim 1628 Management Company is seeking full-time and/or part- time candidates for all shifts at our facility in Carpinteria, CA. This position provides a visible presence at the farm entrance gate, mitigating theft and fraud, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment for all employees and visitors. Reports to the Loss Prevention Manager. Must be flexible across midday, evening, and overnight shifts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stand post and patrol the facility and property to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Provide rapid response to safety, fire, crime, theft, and other emergencies on the facility.
- Observe and report all safety hazards and violations.
- ·Prepare and submit daily activity reports.
- Conduct visual searches of employees, visitors, and other members of the facility. Conduct physical bag checks when deemed necessary.
- Open and secure gates when necessary. Manager visitor passes.
- ·Monitor security cameras.
- ·Perform other duties as required by Loss Prevention Manager and other members of the management team.
Required Skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a significant sense of ownership and accountability for one’s work.
- Methodical approach to work, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Title: Security, Loss Prevention and Facilities Supervisor

Reports to: Corporate Security, Loss Prevention and Facilities Manager
Salary Range: $50K-$65K
Location: Greater Denver Area
Position Objective:
The Security, Loss Prevention and Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day facility, safety, and loss prevention related operations, with budget accountability. A primary focus of the role is to ensure that Schwazze properties are secured and maintained to company and regulatory standards necessary to meet the growing needs of the business.
Essential Functions:
Facilities & Maintenance
- Supervise facilities to ensure that they are adequate for our business needs, well maintained and that we are mitigating any risk of loss
- Supervise building and property maintenance including preventive and corrective maintenance, term contract works, unscheduled and scheduled maintenance
- Oversee fleet management for the organization, including programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of company vehicles
- Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
- Implement loss prevention SOPs to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to compliance regulations
- Ability to carry out security and surveillance requirements according to MED and local jurisdictions
- Understanding of low voltage electronics, alarm and camera equipment, DVR/NVR, and analog/digital/IP surveillance equipment
- Ability to complete basic facility repairs so they do not get contracted out
- Basic understanding of chemical safety and storage
Safety & Loss Prevention
- Ensure proper operation of Schwazze security and surveillance equipment at all locations
- Remediate security and surveillance equipment failures
- As needed, design security and surveillance systems for new facilities and alter systems to accommodate facility alterations
- Develop employee training programs addressing active threat response, loss prevention, workplace violence, and the proper operation and maintenance of the security and surveillance systems at Company facilities
- Supervise regular maintenance inspections of the security and surveillance systems
- Provide threat assessments as needed
- Apply industry best practices to security and surveillance systems
- Supporting key business unit leaders with investigations of compliance and ethics violations in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
- Support incident response efforts, as needed
- Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience Required:
- 3+ years of in a Facilities and Security Management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related experience
- Prior experience supporting multiple locations as the Facilities and Security focal point
- Experience administering policies and procedures
- OSHA certification preferred
Knowledge and Other Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate and/or start-up environment
- Commitment to ongoing self-development and learning
- Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and with exceptional integrity and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed organizational skills with deadline and detail-orientation
- Ability to focus, prioritize, and mange time efficiently and effectively

- Must have dependable transportation (travel reimbursement available)
Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)
- Schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business (Nights, Weekends, Holidays included)
- Ability to travel (50%) consistently across the state of Colorado to Schwazze locations
- Ability to travel (10%) overnight to facilities outside of Colorado
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds

The Role
The Security and Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for the safety and security of all assets, property, personnel, patients/customers, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, trespassing, fire and accidents
- Observe and report any unlawful activity
- Protect individuals, property, and proprietary information from harm or misappropriation
- Control access to premises
- Investigate and take the appropriate lawful actions on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activity, safety, and fire
- Neutralize situations calmly with tact and common sense
- Watch for safety and fire hazards and other related situations
- Enforce policies and procedures of the company
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, visitors, or the public
- Perform requests by the customers within scope of security duties or within reason
- Train new security hires, and inform other staff of security procedures and policies
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and written, obey/enforce the laws of the state
Qualficiations
- Military, law-enforcement or security background strongly preferred
- Criminal Justice Degree, or relevant experience
- Training in firefighting, first aid or lifesaving drills
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
